HYBRID Gpu & CPU AIO Build help! - PC gaming

Hello everyone,
I am looking for some opinions, suggestions, and ideas regarding building a new pc with a MSI Seahawk 808 (hybrid gpu) and a CPU (ryzen 7 5800x) 240 AIO. I am looking for a case that isn’t overly huge (so hopefully a mid atx) to fit both radiators in and still look clean and organized. I am unsure if the Corsair 4000d or Lian Li LANCOOL II will be able to fit these comfortably.
Does anyone have ideas or suggestions? Has anyone made a similar build and what cases did you use? How did you mount the radiators?
All input is welcome and tips or suggestions on parts to use for the build as I still need to purchase some more parts before beginning the build.
Thank you!

Have u tried using Newegg it allows u to build your own PC

Well, I think you should go for a Full ATX tower PC case to leave some extra breathing room for the bulky peripherals. Water-cooled graphics cards although consume less space, but the radiator that is attached to it needs a bit more space at the other end to work properly.

Du like my modifications?

Hi
I recently customized my pc and i would like to share the pics with you!
These pics are taken with my web cam.
thanks
Sweet?
Lol i like the color...
And thats a Dell case isnt it?
nice!!! - but i suggest you move the fan which is below GPU a bit off from the metal pieces of you case(it will make less noise)
check mine out!! -- I keep it without sidepanel, and the orange fan (the fan not the cpu cooler) -- it blows the air straight on the RAM + it gives fresh air to my CPU cooler, without that orange fan my temps are at least 5C higher ,, oh and its held in place with 3 cooper wires (i dont know the right name for them, but thats as close as I could think of)!! maybe youll get some new Ideas!!
Na its not a dell case this is it: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/MIDI+Tower/Arianet+1002+Black+Screwless+Gaming+Case+w%2F+Silver+Side+Vents+%28No+PSU%29+?productId=35366
And kristaps suprisingly the fans make the same amount of noise as my xbox 360 which is pretty quiet.
Oh and about the side-off thing i like it but it wouldnt look good with my case.
flyboy
PS: Kristaps whats the cpu fansink?

Your 360 is quiet? The few ones I have heard sound like little jet engines. Is it a more recent model or is it one of the originals? - (I know its way off-topic for me to ask, but I am kinda curious if the newer 360 builds are better).

The CPU cooler is ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED ... its a pretty good cooler, comparing to the stock cooler it dropped my temps by about 30C !! Its all cooper (cooper gives out heat faster), it has also got a AMD mount, and a fan speed controller!!! its real good, but also a bit pricey (at least for me) !!
Unbranded Alienware....lol the screwless PCI slots made me think Dell ^_~

Need help choosing a graphics card

IM helping my friend build a computer... I built one in a few years and I planning on getting this build:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.328587
But its saying I need a discrete graphics card... Can some explain exactly what that is? Does that just mean it needs to be small?
Can some help me choose a good one for around $150? From new egg or zipzoomfly or another trusted known website with a good return policy.
Im looking for something that with play blu-rays and some gaming like gta 4.
Thanks a lot for your help.

You are right it means something low profile without huge fans, thats where you will have the issue when it comes to the line between good quality in games and a card that will fit!!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ..._profile_graphics_card-_-14-129-144-_-Product
thats the profile i would assume it means instad of the cards that take up to slots on size.. and have leaf blowers...
edit: also that card will decode the video on the gpu instead of straining the cpu...games should run ok at medium resolutions.. posted the wrong card at first..
Gaming -- get a Geforce GTS 250 -- pretty small and has lots of variations -- like this low profile : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187098&cm_re=gts_250-_-14-187-098-_-Product
Little gaming -- Geforce GT 240 - has some passive cooling options (passive = no fans) -- like this :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500138&cm_re=gt_240-_-14-500-138-_-Product
But to be real -- If you get a low profile Graphic card without a fan -- then you cant do much gaming on it, cause it overheats more, therefore you cant put a big load on it and overclock it!!
So my suggestion would be - get a decent GTS 250, with a nice cooler, and then just make the fan spin slower!! :d - set the fan speed to about 60 - 70% and you wont be able to hear the fan! -- just go in newegg and search for "GTS 250" - check those which have 1gb of memory and a nice cooler (not those with plastic around - only metal)
Kristaps
got an ati 5770 and it's pretty good support dx11 but doubt my other system could keep up with the more fancy dx11 stuff but it was not that expensive
Thanks a lot guys. All this help is great. Once I built my computer I didn't keep up with all the latest and greatest so I playing catch up right now.
You guys think this one would work?

Thats not low profile so i would say no, why dont you buy the parts apart from the graphics and see how much room you have or...
use this search string on new egg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=False&Order=PRICED
dont buy a quadro from nvidia though...if you are putting blueray in try getting one with hdmi, it will also pass digital audio through so no need to hook up a lead from spdif to an external sound system, but if you do get an ati card it will also come with and adapter to pass audi over dvi-i.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ..._profile_graphics_card-_-14-129-145-_-Product is a good one for games also at the price range you stipulated.
By discreet i'm thinking what they really mean is depth "not width as low profile are, the case is more than large enough on width" as it's going to take up a PCI slot if larger than x amount, so what you need to take into consideration is how many PCI cards are you going to need if 1 then the whole gamble on does this card fit is out of the window and the world of GPU is in your grasp.
The one you linked mmafighter077 is amazing specification on Core Clock RAM DDR3 so bandwidth larger i would advise you speak to Newegg to ask about comparability even though i'm sure what i said above is the reason.
But i could be wrong
actually they dont really need to mention about discreet, read the case review http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146060 bottom left, some who has it says it can fit a geforce 280...

yup !! that will do!! not as powerful as 8800GTS, but it will do the trick for you!! -- GTA4 , blu ray, you name it - the card will do it
I wouldnt buy a nvidia one since i rwad that they are less spec as the ati ones for more money.
an ati equivilent of a nvidia costs less and performs better.

true!! -- But I cant help with ATI -- I dont know their model range only thing I know is - ATI 4870 or 4780 (dont remember the corect name but in the series with the first ati X2 card) is more powerfull than Nvidia GTX 260 but costs more than 50% less than GTX 260

Thats my one grudge with it. Its a Dell.
But look at it! Its hard to say no, its a completely different laptop from the usual Dells!

About that misleading graphics hardware...
What’s most deceiving about this machine, however, is the NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GE with its “Hybrid SLI” technology. This sounds far more impressive than it really is. Hybrid SLI does, as it says, offer the ability to boost performance or reduce power consumption where needed. However, it’s not a gamer’s card, even if it will run games.
What the 9500M GE really is, is a dedicated 9200m GS plus an integrated 9400m which ultimately offer a mere 24 shaders, with a 64-bit memory bus. Some games that offer multi-GPU benefits may garner a performance boost, but overall it’s only going to be good for DirectX 9 games in medium to low settings.
We weren’t able to run 3DMark Vantage as it requires a minimum resolution of 1280x1024, but our 3DMark 2006 score of 3586 isn’t particularly impressive. We were able to get Left 4 Dead, which is built using the Half-Life 2 (Episode 2) engine, running at medium settings, but still didn’t get particularly great frame rates, even if it was playable.
That is a little misleading indeed! But I wont be doing any intensive gaming on it... I have an xbox for that
It'll be used for casual gaming, multimedia playback and eventually some compiling when I finally learn some code!

one of the most famous review websites in the web does not even DELL not even once
Check them out...I use the Toshiba and...it's great!!
if i were you for my personal and entertainment needs i would go for a Hp and for work/business i would go for a dell
It looks lyk the Dell Studio 1558.
But i dunno what the specs are. only looked at the images
Well, I've gone out and ordered it.
I would have got a HP, but my last one's motherboard got fried and they wouldn't do anything about it. It was out of warranty but it was a common fault like 100+ cases of the same thing. I even spent £10 trying to repair it!
Should be here next week, Ill post my first thoughts about it

see you then!!
I have faith in Dell as they have been good to me (with the exception of their power adapter exclusivity). I wouldn't listen to CNET as they are Apple-ass-lickers for the most part. They listed a Gateway on there and I'd never touch a Gateway again based on personal experience.

[Q] Worth getting?

I currently have a Galaxy Ace 2 but I have the urge to get something a little more powerful and I noticed the Razr i is quite cheap at £159.99.
A few questions though, given that the device is single core, does everything work really smooth? How do high-intensity games play?
Is Skype compatible?
Many thanks

For the actual price you won't get anything better:
- the atom single core is fast and power efficient, the phone is really responsive (for an android phone)
- huge battery (2000 mAh)
- a really nice metal frame chassis with kevlar application on the back. And it's a really compact phone, almost the same form factor as an iPhone 5.
- the screen is not really competetive with the new high end full HD displays, nevertheless it's got really vivid but no too overpowered colours and the pentile matrix is only visible if you really want to see it
- multicolor notification LED
- Android is only slightly themed by Motorola. Anyhow the Motorola icons are ugly as hell and you will have to unlock the bootloader to achive root and flash a themed mod to get back the plain AOSP style.
- Skype is compatible. Allmost all (non high-end game) apps are compatible today.
In fact there still are non compatible games. Look up the thread in Mods & Apps for well working games.
In conclusion there are of course better phones on the market, but they are all huge like frying pans and are not available at this price point.

Try compare ace 2 and razr i on gsmarena.com
there you can see the differece. And in my opinion, the razr i would be a great upgrade for you!
Look, I play all sorts on mine other than NFS most wanted which for me is the only lagging game. The 2ghz processor is brilliant and has multi threading and the phone its self is practically bulletproof haha I drop mine all the time and its still mint. You don't need to ask about upgrading, just do it. There isn't a chance you'll regret it. Its miles ahead of an ace 2

Building my First Gaming PC

Im thinking about building my first gaming PC. I quickly threw some parts together and I want to see what you guys think. I'm also not 100% sure of everything I need to build from start to finish so advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that my budget maxes out at $1,000.
Also, how would these parts I've chosen compare to the PS4 in terms of performance?
Thanks guys!

And I never did see the point of AMD/ATI for Gaming. The 'Powered by Nvidia' splashscreen in every game isn't there for decoration... You'll never be able to use PhysX, for instance. And a lot of games have issues with AMD.
As for compared to the PS4... Even an IntelHD (do not buy an IntelHD GPU) on an i5 will have a better rating than a PS4. The hardware in the 'new' consoles is severely outdated.

Yes, in 720p at 30fps without AA, Dynamic shading and every other HD setting. I'm not paying several hundred quid for something my PC did 8 years ago.
