I've installed YouTube Vanced via petal search on the Huawei mate 40 pro. It logs in fine and has been working properly. However, if I log in to Gmail and look under the security settings. I find a new device that has been logged on to my Google account. It comes up as a Google Pixel 4 device, and says I have been logged into that device. I've checked it a few times and there seems to be a link between the new device and the YouTube vanced account. If I log out the device on Gmail I get logged out on YouTube vanced. And if I log back in the device gets signed in again.
Is this some mechanism used by youtube vanced to use YouTube? Is the YouTube vanced I have a fake version? Is this a personal problem with my individual device not being secure? Or is youtube vanced just not secure for use?
It's a way to fool Google into showing the phone as Pixel 4.

I came across a weird error tonight on my Vivid.
I was initially unable to upload any videos to Youtube. I cleared data and logged into the app again several times with no success. Several google searches led me to a solution that basically required me to log in with my youtube username, rather than my google account that was already configured on the phone. However, the most recent youtube app wouldn't allow you to log in with anything other than a google account, so I had to roll back the update. Finally I was able to log in with my youtube username and password.
Now I can upload videos, but when I go to the gallery and switch to just my Picasa albums, I get a sign-in error for my Youtube account. And no matter what I do, I can't upload any pictures to my Picasa account. My albums list won't populate in the uploader drop-down.
This is completely retarded. Basically my google services won't work together on my Android phone and all of my accounts are linked. Seriously? Anyone else having this issue?
TL;DR version: Can only upload to youtube if signed into older version of app with youtube username/password. Can't upload to native Picasa at all (Picasa tool app works). Get sign-in error for Youtube account when I try to view my Picasa albums.
Just in case anyone is interested. I know you can use YouTube, but there are more flexibilty with Viral. You can set specific resolution for the videos. And you can log in using web login so you only your YouTube account is logged into the app, instead of having to log your Google account into the entire phone.
There are some bugs in this early Chromecast version though.

i hope i am in the right section here. i have a problem logging in into my google account using microg for using youtube vanced without ads.
i am able to enter my google account and passwort, but it does not login. so i cant use youtube vanced with my credetials.
on all other android phones i have, it works fine without any problem. also on my p20pro. only on my p30 pro, i do face this problem. tried different versions of microg.
can anyone help me to find a solution?

Disable Chrome browser, log into YouTube vanced and then you can enable Chrome again. That worked for me.
Is it me or do ads at start of a video still find a way to play?

Hi guys,
I gust got my Vivo Nex 3 5G V1924A.
I have the following issues:
- In Chrome I can't turn on the syncing. My account shows up, but when I click "I'm In" buton, nothing hapens.
- Youtube Vanced tries to start and directly closes. (Normal Youtube works.)
Can anyone suggest some fixes?
After a few hours google services found an update and afterwards Chrome was ok.

I just bought this device. And the best solution I found to have the Google applications is to use Gspace and Youtube Vanced.
Especially to be able to restore purchases via Google Play. And use the applications dependent on Google Play for notifications etc.
If Youtube vanced doesn't work try with this way
