Hello, i've recently baught the Redmi 9T in latin america, which means my phone is pomelo, not lime. Despite this i've seen custom recoveries and roms designed for juice (that would be lime, lemon and pomelo devices). My problem is that after having unlocked the bootloader, flashing a custom recovery (i've tried OrangeFox R11.1_4, TWRP 3.5.2 and PRBP 3.1.0, all of the for juice) i cannot get any rom to install. I've tried a couple of them and it always shows the same error, so I know it's not the roms causing the problem. Process starts to flash but immediately shows: "assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file ("dynamic_partitions_op_list")) updater process ended with ERROR: 1; Error installing zip file"
Any help is very much apreciated!
I also tried using Xiaomi Tools V2, but i get the same error
And i tried modyfing the updater-scritp found in \rom\META-INF\com\google\android. I erased assert() from the line that says assert(update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_list")));
But then it gave me the following error "E1001: Failed to flash system partition.". So i modified the line that says "abort("E1001: Failed to flash system partition.")"
And then the rom installs but it never boots into it. It gets stuck in a bootloop

Thanks for the reply. I got every TWRP to work (other version, not the one you linked), but my problem comes when flashing any custom rom, it just won't let me. I had already flashed the stock rom, so my device is working fine. I want to be able to install a custom rom
Btw the last version of the recovery you linked doesn't work for me. But twrp-3.5.2_10-3-lime-brigudav does

INSTRUCTIONS
This TOOL can install lastest TWRP recovery through fastboot commands. So you can choose to rebbot in fastboot mode manually or checking "With adb reboot" before click on FLASH. When you click on flash the tool will download and flash ther recovery automatically (If the recovery has already been downlaoded it will not be downloaded again). At each startup, the tool will automatically check for updates and if there it will ask you if you want to download them or not.
HOW TO INSTALL
Download the tool;
Unzip the tool in a folder;
Click on "Setup" or "Setup.exe";
Click on "Install";
Waiting for the end of the process;
Enjoy the TOOL.

I could not test all supported device, so if you try it please let leave a feedback.

For me it does not work on Xiaomi Max 32/3 GB. I've a locked bootloader, which could be the reason why it does not work.

Ok thanks. Also manual flashing of TWRP is not allowed for me. Says no permission to flash partition.
Doesnt work on Mi Max 32 GB
The tool hangs everytime and even when it shows twrp installed it actually isnt
used the tool now my phone hangs
I managed to install TWRP with your phone and can access TWRP
However i can not boot the phone into normal operation now. It just shows the Mi startup logo and hangs.
I can go back into TWRP and i can also go into fastboot mode but not normal phone operation.
Any suggestions?

Flash supersu or magisk root
I have some others programs for flashing TWRP but yours is the fastest and more easy just 2 minutes and TWRP again installed (had lost it flashing China Dev.)thanks

i changed to miui 12.5 eu and when ever i did that i tried checking the safetynet and it surprisingly failed anyone knows why , "cts profile match failled " ? i want to fix that and i want to flash twrp recovery and root my phone with it ( obviously with magisk ) . And if anyone knows does rooting affect the device performance / temperature ?

There is no TWRP for the Mi 11 yet.
There is no TWRP for MI 11 Venus. You can flash magisk fallowing this post

i picked the original version of the phone when i picked a device fingerprint ( xiaomi mi 11 cn for me )
Edit :I benchmarked it with antutu and i got the same score 69473 as the original firmware the cn one with out root

update today i checked the safetynet and it says " SafetNet API Error " it has failled any one knows why ?
Safetynet fails because the rom (Xiaomi.eu) is based on a stable beta that's not yet verified by Google. You have to wait a bit longer, probably until after the 30 th april.

I am curious if anyone is currently interested in releasing a pixel experience Rom for Xiaomi 11T Pro as it is too similar to the Redmi K40 Pro/+ and that also has its own official pixel experience rom. So I guess it won't be hard.

Yeah it's kinda pointless making twrp based on Android 11 source when a12 is alr around the corner tbh, let's hope when Android 12 drop, we can get proper twrp support.
Using the GSI rom in the moment, wish it have more support through this way we get proper roms without some bugs.
We could use other recovery like the AOSPA recovery to install the ZIP file instead of using TWRP.

I didnt manage to flash it via the latest TWRP (6.5_A12) that you shared, i attached a screenshot. Tried with several methods, flashing latest miui, with and without format data, always says the same error. Any idea?

did you flashed vbmeta before? check device manager on your pc your mobile might be in EDL or in some other state. I can fix it myself but on giving Instruction idk i have too see the phone myself to help.

it's mentioned in TWRP guide, after flashing recovery.img you should flash vbmeta3.img and eveerything will be good to go.
I also had that black screen and can't do anything, but I faked the driver and rebooted it to fastboot and did everything and everything works fine right now.

I have the same version of phone and the current rom is V12.5.19.0.RKDEUXM
EEA rom.
No update to date.
Btw.
V13.0.1.0.SKDMIXM is a global rom and you have a EEA rom(V12.5.20.0.RKDEUXM)
V13.0.1.0.SKDMIXM is only for MIUI Pilots, the only way to flash it is TWRP at the moment.

The rom is pushed to normal user now, i can update via "Choose update package" without any problem.
His problem was his phone is EEA variant (EUXM) thus not compatible with miui 13 global variant (MIXM)
same problem with the official rom and the official EUXM, it tells me that it is not an official firmware
Hi guys,
I have an EEA model and i have updated manually to MIUI 12.5.20 with recovery release found in the MIUI tracker thread, but now i can't update to MIUI 13 with the same process, It shows me this text dialog.
Naturally I've downloaded the recovery update many times before write this post just to be sure there aren't problem with the download process, i've tried to install the update in the safe mode too.
In the meantime i have done the process for unlock the bootloader (next monday i'll be able to do the fastboot command).
Can someone help me to solve this situation?

Is there anybody who tried to update to MIUI 13 from 12.5.19? If yes, what was the result?
There is new update V12.5.21.0.RKDEUXM. I guess it will give possibility to update to MIUI 13.

For now it's just security update. 13.0.8 can't be installed, because is older, so error will be you can't downgrade to older version. So maybe after few day they'll release MIUI 13 for Xiaomi 11T pro

Exactly, same problem but different error. I'll wait for unlock the bootloader, i'm sure it will be faster than ota or recovery release from Xiaomi.

For anyone trying to upgrade to MIUI13
You can see what version you have if you take a look at the version ending. SKDMIXM is the Global version and RKDEUXM is the European (EEA)
If you notice the SKD and RKD part, it means Android 11 for R and Android 12 for S
Make sure your Xiaomi 11T Pro is running the Global ROM, it is officially released as V13.0.3.0.SKDMIXM.
The newest ROM for the Xiaomi 11T Pro EEA (European) right now is V12.5.21.0.RKDEUXM
If you try to install V13.0.8.0.SKDEUXM and run into an error, it is due to it being a Mi Pilot tester ROM only.
You wont be able to install a ROM from a different region over another one.
The only way to bypass this is by unlocking the bootloader and flash something like Xiaomi.EU which is a modified Xiaomi ROM which includes China ROM features.
Follow this guide:

I installed 13.0.8.0 EEA no problem without being Mi Pilot tester downloading the fastboot zip and updating by selecting file in the built in updater, 13.0.9.0 EEA is Pilot Tester atm.
