Fingerprint project elixir A12 not working but very nice, omg so smooth. It's like after upgrading to a12 my machine is squeezing performance and this kernel makes it super smooth like A9

installed on a11 pixel experience and over night my phone was found shut off and i can't turn it on anymore, it's literally dead. Help?

Hello, does it let you enter fastboot mode by pressing volume (-) less and power?
If you can enter fastboot mode, I think you should install a Miui rom for fastboot and you can recover the phone.

it has 80% battery, when i put it in the charger it does absolutely nothing. just a black screen.

I have been using this kernel for 2 days and have a very serious problem with this kernel, every time I restart my phone it stays on the black screen for a long time, about 8 9s and the longest it takes about 20s, then it shows the MI logo. I tried to install 1 China rom and 1 EU dev version but my problem only solved when i flashed them all again with miflash

I am using this kernel for 3 days without any issues in crDroid.

Thank you sir for your work I will definitely give it a try but I just wanna verify with you , does this kernel support the system to read bigger battery size than 3300 mah ??
In android 9 or 10 it was supported by MrAkash but for now I tried many AOSP roms and all of them are reading onl 3300 in system and in Fk kernel manager while my battery is 4200mah and many people are using 4000 also
Thank you so much if you add this option I would really appreciate it

Hello, could you solve it and how?
The same has happened to me with my Xiaomi Mi9.
My Xiaomi Mi 9 has remained as dead and now it does not go into recovery mode and neither in fastboot mode, I connect it to the computer and it recognizes it but I cannot access the bootloader mode to be able to install a rom for fastboot and it gives me an error when it does not recognize it.
If I connect it to the charger it does nothing at all ...
Could it be that the battery has died?
Could someone help me see if I can fix it or nothing can be done?
Thank you anyway

Usually this sort of thing might get solved by removing and reinserting the battery. But right, I know, the battery for the Mi5 is not removable.
Instead try to force this behaviour by pressing the power + vol up + vol down buttons all together for about 1 minute (be serious about this - also try like 2 minutes if it doesn't work quicker!).
Solved the black screen of death error for me once. Please report back. I'll stay in touch and try helping out further if I can and this doesn't solve it for you.

Okay dude, I'd have waited if you considered writing me as though you cared about what I might need to know in order to help you.
And if you'd consider thanking me in any way, I'd consider helping you out and spending my time on this.
But seriously - if my phone was bricked, and I didn't know what to do; and I opened a threat for this, I wouldn't be that self-focused to act as if I expected help as something this forum *has to* offer.
Maybe I did help you a whole lot, maybe I didn't, but I'm outta here. Good luck, in both, recovering your phone and in learning manners.

What bootstack in particular did you use? I was stuck at ZTE screen for 5 minutes and never booted.
I'm using the one linked in the Lineage 15.1 thread.
I've been using my local build and it works fine. Let me download and test the official just to make sure...
EDIT: Yeah something is definitely wrong, it is kicking me into fastboot. I'll try to figure it out.
Ah, here's the issue:
Code:
init: [libfs_mgr]dt_fstab: Skip disabled entry for partition vendor
Let me fix that and schedule a rebuild.

Oh, also note, gapps persistence is currently broken so you need to flash gapps every time you update. I'll try to fix that soon.
Flashed ZTE_A7LOSv1_UniversalBootStack.zip AND A2017U_OreoModem.zip
Then 09-17-Nightly with 8.1-ARM64-Micro
Booted in 3 minutes from a clean flash.
Thank You. I will report any finds!
Edit:
Vibration needs a fix. It sounds like the inside of the phone is being zapped.

common issue with LOS15.1
This is fantastic. I used AOKP back in Nougat before it started to give random reboots.
Thank you @tdm
What a nice surprise. The first mod based on LOS15.1 since long time. I see there is also a Nougat recovery for the Axon7. Are you going to release one based on Oreo?

Well, it would be nice having adb and B12 encryption supported in the same TWRP kernel.
Returning to topic, the release is really nice and smooth. No troubles, everything works as expected when doing a clean flash. It adds a lot of options to the base LOS15.1.
I'm having battery issues. Fast charger works sometimes. Checking ampere, I only charge around 750mA. If I mess with the kernel, it ramps up to 2100-2300mA but never the full fast charge. Also my battery dies super quick when audio is in play. Any audio fix to stop battery bleed?
Would B32+B10 bootloader work better for battery stability than the LOS bootloader?

What settings are you using in the Kernel to increase the charge rate? 2300mA is a decent value for QC 3.0.
Bootstack B32-B10 won't work with LOS15.1 since it requires B12.

I forced both big and little governors to performance. Then when I'm done charging, I put it back to little = on demand and big = conservative.
Anyone else having a vendor missmatch message on boot? I made a vendor using Oki's party tool. Is this where I went wrong?
Also anyone having issues passing safety net with magisk?

On any firmware / rom / kernel, stock or non-stock
I tried fastboot official rom - but problem still
It fixes only with reboot.
Pls, help me!
Probably not in time, but will post for people googling solution.
Yes, this is common important problem which Xiaomi not rush to fix during at least 5 months. This related to modem / radio. Confirmed that changing SIM card for new from operator can fix drain but not for all.
Thankfully, @uditkarode fixed this in his έpsilon kernel.
In commit he just limits wakelock time to 250 ms instead infinity.
To install kernel you need to unlock bootloder (wait 7 days) and install TWRP.

Uh. So you'd like your phone to boot up to OS once connected to power source (instead of displaying offline charging animations). This is considered a bug, not a feature. You can DM the developer and see.
No, thats not a bug.
This is/was a feature, on some devices you could enable this.
But with newer Samsung devices, this option isn't available.
phone feels a bit more choppier than stock kernel on oneui 3.1

First, it was never a feature that you could enable or disable, on any device. Second, samsung removed the "feature" in android 11 due to the change of entering recovery. The feature is also depreciated, Press and hold power while charging turns the device on. You can also turn off the device while charging. To enter recovery, plug device in to a PC, wait for charging to start, press and hold vol up and power will boot to recovery.
Im curious on why you want this added back. Is it that hard to press and hold power or is it that when the phone is completely dead, you want it to come on by itself when charging is enough to power up?
Anyway, it can't be added back unless entry by key combo to recovery is changed and unfortunately, thats not possible with the new boot changes on oneui 3.
Yes, it's "that hard" because the phone is mounted in a car without access to the buttons.
But thanks for the answer.
You could enable/disable it on older android phones, with some commands in ADB.
But yes, the newer one doesn't support it.

on bootloop animation, plug your phone into a USB cable connected to a PC, then press and hold power + vol down for 5-7 seconds. once you're in a charging animation, unplug it and when you have nothing on the screen, the phone is turned off, you can get to download mode with your PC as usual to install stock firmware.

Download the latest build
=> Boot to recovery (TWRP)
=> Format Data (Wipe all the things system , vender,Dalvik Cache etc. You Don't Need To Wipe the Memory Card )
=> Change data partition to ext4 (Important Step)

Hi, i'm also using EvolX and also getting laggy issue on 720p60+ display in Youtube. Would you mind telling us how to fix it? By the way, my phone always reach 60 degrees Celsius when charging and playing games after 10 mins which makes me worried. Is there any way to solve that?
