Hello there, everyone!
Have you ever wanted to run multiple OSs on your phone at the same time? Well now you can do it with your Mi A1.
This is AndroidTwo (funny name, right?) - a kernel based on MetaPhoenix.

Don't flash it yet as I can't still get it to work. IDK what I'm doing wrong. But in theory the install process should be:
1. Flash Kernel
2. Flash TWRP Installer
3. Flash Magisk
and do that on the slot on which your ROM is.

For me this always work with flashing a kernel
1 flash rom
2 flash twrp installer
3 reboot recovery
4 flash gapps
5 flash magisk
6 flash kernel
7 wipe cache
8 reboot

Thx I will try later on today with a clean install. Can you tell me exactly what is the benefit of this kernel and what do you mean with 2 os on your device. Is it something like dualboot?

You should know you can't post a build that is not ready on xda. Just in theory don't work here. Placeholder threads are not allowed here.

Should be working for BS3 and BS3s just make sure you have the corresponding ROM installed (compare KLENxx numbers in options-->my device--> joyui). If your cant find your rom version just use the newest. ALWAYS do a "fastboot boot downloadedTWRP.img" before hardflashing it to see if it works.
Please share.
Also, if we get kernel source i will build an open source twrp. So put as much pressure as you can on Blackshark to release the kernel sources please.

Some users experience errors with the KLEN2011100CN00MQ3, therefore i recommend to use the KLEN2009280CN00MQ3 for now
XDA does not allow to upload the smaller .7z archives. So just replace the .zip with .7z after download.

Updater process ended with ERROR: 1

As I mentioned before, KLEN2009280CN00MQ3 works well.

i did not test the 2001110, only extracted the bootimage and updated twrp with the new kernel. there was a crc error though, maybe the zip is corrupted. You could try downloading the new update directly from blackshark servers

That is because the file is corrupted. (I compared ota-server thing and drive thing) `diff -b`
The solution is to download the file from the Ota server!

reboot to TWRP
flash ROM and TWRP
wipe Dalvik
reboot to recovery
flash gapps (and if you want Magisk)

for first install:
be on the latest firmware on both slots
download the file named like this: crDroidAndroid-11.0-XXXXXXXX-kebab-v7.X-install-files.zip
unpack zip to desktop (or whereever you want)
reboot to bootloader
run ROMinstaller.bat
follow instructions
if you want to install gapps:
enter recovery
Apply update
Apply from ADB
from your computer: adb sideload (gapps package).zip , i recommend MindTheGapps, because with this package i could update without having to install Gapps again
factory reset
reboot to system
to update:
download the file named like this: crDroidAndroid-11.0-XXXXXXXX-kebab-v7.X.zip in the internal updater and update it
some large gapps packages will not install due to lack off space

no worries... magisk canary works fine!
Hight brightness mode is excellent and I love the option to tweak when it triggers. I just discovered face unlock after reading the comments below.

# unlocked bootloader
# I'm from miui 13.0.11.0( India)
1. Go to fastboot mode on phone, must have latest latest platform tools. (Place .img inside platform tools folder)
Follow the command in fastboot (cmd in admin)
Fastboot boot twrp 3.7.img
It will automatically boot to recovery.
Format data.
Enable adb side load
adb sideload rom.zip( if this is given cannot read error, place the rom file in outside platform tools folder.
