Question G998U Android 12? - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Hi,
I have checked this link below and currently for G998U, Android 12 is not listed there yet. Can I flash other firmware from different phone model to my phone with Odin?
Samsung Android 12 Tracker: Here are all the official One UI 4.0 stable and beta builds to download and install
One UI 4 beta builds based on Android 12 have begun rolling out to multiple Samsung Galaxy devices. Head on over for the download links!

No.

I flashed the Official today on my 998U1, the TMB release. Worked like a dream except the Verizon bloat and no Samsung cloud restore. Oh well. Remove bloat and restore manually your apps, and POOF! Android 12 One UI 4.

I expect North American devices to receive lollipop starting February. These devices include model numbers: SM-G900A, SM-G900T, SM-G900V, SM-G900P, and SM-G900W8.

ETA on the SM-G900M model looks to be mid to end of February. Keep on eye on updates, I will post them as I receive them!
That's exciting to hear.
SM-G900A here in the USA
I'll sit on my hands until Feb and try to resist flashing and breaking it with something before then
I have installed the latest UK version with dirty flash over Indie Rom v11; no problems so far; a good stock Rom; some notes:
1. I have uninstalled xposed framework, wanam and other xposed modules;
2. The Rom corrected my broken know value and I don't see any warning or errors during boot; everything seems ok under the settings - device info screen; I'll try the use the rom as original without root for a while and see if I can do it.
3. No problems and liked it do far; I had some problems with updating few apps over google play store and google play services; but I think it was related to bootmanager which is an xposed module; after uninstalling bootmanager all apps have been updated without a problem.

Nothing yet on my 3UK G900F
Why would you want to install a 3uk rom full of extra bloatware when you can have the uk Unbranded BTU.
Why Samsung did release it as 5.0.1? But anyway living without Xposed is not an option.
What about updates for 900I ? Any timeline ?
What about the G900H exynos variant ?

The only difference I can see is that it comes up with 3 logo when it switches on. There doesn't appear to be any bloat. I would flash unbranded BTU rom if it was possible without a wipe.

No-one seems to have an answer as to when it'll be rolled out for the Exynos version (900H)....I also would like to know...
Many countries have received the update now but not the Baltics. Wonder when it is our turn...

You can easily update the phone yourself using odin to flash the newest firmware version! You don't have to wait for your carrier to do it just go download the newest firmware for N950F and flash it and just do that every time a new one comes out.
Thx MrMike,
My mobile content will remain or i will lose all my apps...etc ?

If you're only updating you should be fine however I would still suggest you use Smart Switch from the play store and make a backup of everything on your phone so it saves the backup to your SD card so if anything goes wrong you still have everything and you just use Smart Switch to restore it all.. You never do anything to your phone without making a backup!

Do ALL Samsung devices get beta programs? (including s10, Android 12)

I dont see a beta for S10 anywhere online. Just curious if old phones like the s10 is now, do they get a beta tester program like s21 does?
There will be no beta.

Question Italian SM-G998B on OneUI 4 Beta 4 (UK) - How to move to stable final version without formatting?

Hi guys, as the tittle describes my Italian S21 Ultra Exynos is on the last OneUI 4.0 Beta 4 (UK), all updates using adb sideload.
Now i whant to move it to the last non beta/stable version, i had tried the "update" via "Download and Install" but it says i am on the last firmware..
I do not whant to format cuz i will loose a lot of configurations from app that i have, fingerprint access and mfa..etc
Thank you in advance
Download via patched odin... to 3.1 then see of the 4.0 is available via update for you.
Install it from odin but you must choose home_CSC to do that
Flash firmware with Odin and HOME_CSC.

Question Is the One UI 5.0 Beta program full?

Hi, I flashed my Verizon S21 Ultra to be unlocked. It was mainly to get rid of bloatware and not have to wait for Verizon to push updates, model number is now G998U1.
I then saw that the One UI 5 beta was available for unlocked variants but it doesn't seem to be available on Samsung Members. Any work around for this? Preferably something that doesn't reset my phone.
If you're on CVHB you can flash this beta 1. It's the only one available. You have to adb sidelaod
