This guide will walk you through the process of Unlocking your bootloader on Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Prerequisites:
Backup all the files on phone as we will be resetting the phone to unlock the bootloader.
Install ADB and Fastboot Drivers from here (Select the latest) -> https://androidmtk.com/download-minimal-adb-and-fastboot-tool )
Install drivers for Xiaomi 11T Pro -> https://droidfilehost.com/download/download-xiaomi-usb-driver-for-windows
Download MiUnlock Tool -> https://en.miui.com/unlock/download_en.html
Unlocking the Bootloader:
Go to "About Phone" in Settings and keep tapping on MIUI Version until it shows "You are now a developer"
Navigate to "Additional Settings>Developer Options" and enable "OEM unlocking"
Make sure you have a Mi account and your sim is inserted. In Developer options, select "Add account". Now your Mi Account is linked with your Device.
On your PC, open MiUnlock Tool and login with the same Mi account you have used login to the tool.
Power off your phone and boot into fastboot mode by long pressing the power button + volume down button.
Connect your phone to your PC and click refresh in the MiUnlock Tool
After clicking unlock, it will give your a wait duration. (Generally 168 hours, there's no known way to bypass this wait time) You can continue to use your phone meanwhile, but remember to backup before clicking unlock after your wait time is complete.
After your wait is complete, click unlock and then click reboot. Your phone will now reset and boot up.
Enjoy.

I have attempted to unlock bootloader, it ask for 336h wait. Did they changed waiting time from one week to two? Is it because device is quite new and they don't want them to be unlocked?

depends on the Mi Account, is it a new sim or an old one? I checked and added a new one to the device and it gave 2 weeks of wait time. I just added my old one and it gave 7.4 days of waiting.

I have very weird problem , trying to use mi unlock tool and can`t sign in to my MI account because the verification code not sent to my phone number.
when i tried to sign in from website no issues and the verification sms code sent to my phone with no problem , only mi unlock code tool didn`t send any verifications

Use the "driver_install" to fix the issue. Connect the phone both normally and in Fastboot mode. It automatically installs the drivers.

On the Mi Unlock software when I go to the parameters and that I check driver installation, it says it can't find "miusbdriver.exe" (something like that). I took the miusbdriver.exe from the other version folder (from the message of arash74 above) but it's a loop : It finds the file but it asks me to reconnect my phone and so on.
Any help would be nice ! Thanks

Did you try the 64bit version (driver_install_64) too?
It's worth a try to disable driver signature verification as well.

Thanks Bro but the samne problem in device manager shows android nootloader interface thats ok but in my unlock tool or fastboot nothing i try on windos 11 10 and now 7 nothing i try since 2 mounth i am dissapointed i expected moore from new xiaomi devices!

Thank you Arash for your answer mate, I just did it with this tutorial :
I was stuck at this step actually, I didn't understand that by unpluging and pluging back my phone it would install the drivers !
So now I guess I have to wait 161 hours to continue my unlocking thing but I'm glad I could fix that problem of undected phone, and if it helps someone else here it's also a good thing then.

So guys i solve the problem it will sound a liitle strange but i pot here maybe someone will face this in the future.
My problem was not the driver because fastboot shows my device and any flash tool no so and i tryed many many version nothing but at least i accidentally extracted the tool on the desktop and i didnt move in to a folder so and open and boom the villi was here!
I tryed move in a folder and not worked i think the problem was permission maybe i didn't know i am happy cuz it's fixed now so i have to wait 360 hours until unlock!
I have a question about warranty. If I will install my original ROM back would it make warranty valid again ?

If you unlock bootloader, no your warranty will not be void. However if you show up to a Mi service center with an unlocked bootloader and a custom ROM, they will consider your warranty voided.

Okay so me and probably others have/had problems with unlocking your Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
These are simple steps to succes.
what is needed: Redmi 4 pro, ADB drivers
1. Sign to Xiaomi and apply for unlocking http://en.miui.com/unlock/
It is important to add correct data.
2. Connect to your Mi account on the device and enable Find Device option under Xaiomi cloud
if it is done correctly u will be able to find ur device at https://i.mi.com/
3 Wait for permission u will receive SMS message.
4. When permission is aquired and device is connected to Mi Cloud we have to try to unlock the device.
5 . Download Mi Unlock software ( added to post up there )
6 .Enable developer settings
System info -> couple of clicks on MiUi version
Back - > more settings -> developer settings - > Enable OEM unlock
7. Reboot to fastboot ( Vol down + power ) till some (russian?) bunny appears
8. Perform unlock from Mi Unlocker and press
Left button
enter Login(email) and password to mi account
Connect the phone and press the button !
9 Reboot. You should be done Congrats !
You can install miui global now or any other rom. to Perform you have to :
1. Boot to fastboot
2.Download Brigudav Recovery https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-4-prime/development/recovery-twrp-3-1-1-2-brigudav-t3656372
3.connect the phone
4. in console window type: fastboot flash recovery RECOVERYNAME.img
5.Boot to recovery and install the rom

I dont know but if you have installed non original rom isnt ur phone already unlocked?

You can't!!!
You need to flash a official China Stable 8.0.5.0 ROM to unlock - tried it with different phones and methods...

I have recently purchased a Redmi 4 Prime phone that came with the vendor rom and I wanted to flash the latest china dev rom, but am stuck in bootloop. cant enter DL mode, but fastboot is OK. unfortunately none of the adb commads work, the phone is recognized under "fastboot devices" but not under "adb devices". I have tried the fastboot2edl v2 method but is goes straight into bootloop. can you please suggest what to do and help me out?

Try to turn it off and press volume down + up and power until the LED flashes red and connect USB - it should be recognized as Qualcomm ******
If not, then build your own deep flash cable or order one on ebay or something... - with that u can reach the DL mode on nearly every Qualcomm device

Flashed the Developer Preview Rom and it worked
usually the issue with unlock is a different username used to login. use the same, either email, number or name on both.
should solve it.

Most of the dev community is talking with Huawei to allow Bootloader unlock codes again.
I'm sure that under the preassure of their costumers they will allow unlock codes again.

IMHO, all phone manufacturers should allow bootloader unlocked.. and if people mess up the phones while having the phone's bootloader unlocked, then its their own fault and warranty voided.
Huawei/Samsung phones already have indicators that shows if the phone has been unlocked...

HTC also, but unlock page is always online. Maybe dc unlocker, sometime...
I was pretty miffed about this but been using the phone for five days and I'm not actually bothered. Only complaint is I couldn't use Titanium so had to buy Helium to transfer some apps over from my old phone, would've took forever to set then up manually.
Very happy with the phone otherwise, although it would be nice to have the code in the future.
Huawei, like Samsung has an app to transfer from old phone to their device, not sure if it would transfer apps.

I emailed Huawei UK to see if they would provide an unlock code for my L09 and they didn't even respond. I'm just wondering what benefits there would be in rooting it seeing as how the scene is more or less paralysed by Huawei's refusal to issue anymore unlock codes.

Hello guys.
You can temporary unlock any bootloader of your huawei (any model) by setting the phone into testpoint mode.
To do that, follow these steps reffered in this thread

- turn off your phone
- open the back cover. Search on youtube "dissassembly (your phone model)" to find a tutorial stept by step to open it (basically using a heatgun and guitar picks to gently remove the cover; or buy an iFixit kit)
- find the testpoint pin. search on Google Images for (your phone model) testpoint mode. You will find a picture showing you the pin marked on the motherboard.
for example for my P20 EML-L29 it looks like this

-on the PC install the driver and open the UnlockBootloader program and click start.
-plug the usb cable on the PC but not yet on the phone.
- create a short between the testpoint pin and the ground using a sharp tweezer. (ground is usually a metal plate cover above the CPUs).
-while keeping the tweezer shorting the pin, plug the USB cable on the phone (it has to be already connected to your PC).
- the software will began to write the bootloader and twrp. if this doesn't start, unplug the cable, disconnect the battery, connect it back, make the short again and plug the usb cable on the phone until the software begin the loading process.
- the phone will restart to fastboot with the message Phone Unlocked in red, meaning the bootloader is temporary unlocked.
-having this, you may now flash anything for your model using this commands

where PARTITION is for example recovery_ramdisk, system, kernel etc
and FILE.img is the image you need to flash for example TWRP for your modelm
keep in mind this won't unlock your bootloader permanently and you may damage the phone if you short the wrong pins so be careful.
This way you could also unbrick a hardbricked phone, even if it doesn't start at all (well not if it's a hardware issue).

you may need to flash twrp for your model.
to do that, replace the recovery_ramdisk.img file.
also, does your phone show the red "Phone unlocked" message in the fastboot mode?
if yes, you could also try to flash it manually.
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk imagename.img
The phone may try to overwrite the custom recovery with the default eRecovery at startup. To prevent that, don't reboot to system. Keep the volume up pressed while rebooting to reboot directly in recovery. After that, it won't overwrite it again.

Depend on your country/region Xiaomi/Redmi warranty policy.
If warranty is void after unlock bootloader, then no.
If warranty is not void after unlock bootloader, then when you need warranty support for hardware, better flash official MIUI back into phone. The recovery should also change back to official ones.
Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco warranty is different between countries and regions, so you have to lookup on their website yourself.

I had this error too. And i figured out what was wrong. It's easy:
1. Log in on your xiaomi account
2. Enable developer options in Settings > About Phone by repeatedly tapping MIUI Version.
3. Enable USB debugging
4. Go to developer options and enable "OEM Unlocking"
5. Also in developer options is sth like "MI unlocking status" click on it, and scroll down to button "add account and device", click on it, you need to parry phone with your xiaomi account
6. Use tool to unlock device/follow instructions in that app. ( default one - miflash unlock, or - XiaoMiTool V2). I dit it using miflash unlock,

so I rolled back to MIUI 10 and it locked the bootloader, so now I cannot unlock it anymore. Did I do something wrong? Perhaps Xiaomi won't let you unlock twice you device??? (sounds silly btw) Do I need to visit a Xiaomi Service Center?

There is a fix for this here. The project is mostly abandoned so you have to manually rebuild it after changing the login URI.

Here are the exact steps if you need it. The instructions are for linux, but similar steps worked for me on both linux and windows. I skipped steps 4 and 5 and just used the gradlew included in the repo. You can find more info and troubleshooting here but feel free to PM me if you run into issues.

To avoid problems, they recommended me to edit the flash.allbat file and remove the Antirollback command line, is this correct? Or can I avoid having to do it?

Do it if you have this problem ou directly flash a Xiaomi EU rom.
An existential doubt, if the device has the rom with Antirollback version 1, and the rom to install has AR1 too, is there any risk?

The answer is above.
With MI flash the flash will not work ,if ARB, that's all.

I managed to install the Global rom of Mi 11 pro Mars
1) Check the ARB and in both roms, the current one and the one you wanted to install in both the version was: 1
2) Unlock bootloader
3) Install with Mi flash without problems

Anyone who might have the same situation, i found a simple, but effective solution, not sure if it works on every xiaomi device, but i will write down the steps here:
You need to use XiaomiADB, here is the download link and the description for how to use it -> https://xiaomiui.net/how-to-use-xiaomiadb-8044/ (if the page is not available, then feel free to msg me!)
For xiaomi adb, you need to go to 3rd option on the miui recovery screen, NOT THE FASTBOOT
So basically i went through the steps to “xiaomiadb sideload_miui <filename>”
And I tried to install a rom, BUT IT DIDNT ACCEPT IT!
The message was:
ERROR: This rom cannot be installed, server code -> 2001, server message -> Can't install unofficial rom
after trying 4 times all the same and: Installation of this rom via stock recovery is not allowed by Xiaomi
Says Installation failed, and then i just decided to download another rom so i PLUGGED OUT THE PHONE right after this, and went to another room to connect to wired network, to download and try a different rom... when i came back, to all my surprise, the phone was turned on, so i went to the setting dev ops and enabled bootloader unlocking, linked it to my account enabled adb and everything that is needed to flash another rom later, so then i rebooted and again, miui recovery 5.0 screen, but now i enabled unlocking, so i put the phone in fastboot, and tried MI UNLOCKER TOOL again, now it says: Please unlock 168 hours later. And do not add your account in MIUI again, otherwise you will wait from scratch.
So that means, after 7 days i wll be able to unlock it, until then, i can turn it on with the above method, in short try to sideload (copy and install) a rom to it, and then after it failed, plug it out and just wait like 10-20 maybe 30 seconds and bam your device is normally booted... I hope it helps to some of you, (i have been searching for the solution for almost a week, my other option was to pay someone who can MAYBE do it or send the phone back to china and pay the repairs, so im really happy with this method! I have done so far :

2. Activate OEM unlocking
3. Apply the Mi Unlock status
3. Download the latest Mi Unlock Tools.
4. Link the phone to Mi Unlock
5. Go to the fastmode (volume + power button)
6. Open the Mi Unlock tools on PC and getting this error.

This is always my most feared moment with this brand. The forced wait is excruciating but at least they let us unlock it... unless you get this generic error crap. The OS reset won't work since it's the bootloader, but I know why you tried it. My best recommendation is scour just the manufacturer-named forums. There must be one solution not tried yet. Googling after that is your 2nd best option. Good luck.
As stupid it sounds, original USB-C Cable? Xi dont like 3rd Party cables that much, i recognized...

unless if the orignal phone from the casing that are not the original USB then i don't think it was it.

Maybe you can try to run a virtual image for Virtualbox inside the OS you have now.
Windows versions as image you can find here
Or look for family and friends with an old PC

It has to work correctly with newest windows versions.
Firewall could be a problem.
It sounds like driver problem. Remove all phone drivers and reinstall (check to take the right version)
