Question Android 12 problems - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

I updated s21 ultra to Android 12, wish I didn't but now many apps aren't working and wells fargo is one of them!!
Anyone else having these problems?

You are not alone. Apps are crashing quite often. Facebook, bank app cannot be used all. And samsung keeps quite.

The Wells Fargo app is working fine for me, but since updating to Android 12, my screen mirroring on my vehicle's headunit no longer works.

A factory reset seems to solve a lot of issue. I had a slew of crashing apps but after a factory reset things started to get smoother...

For me the scrolling lag

have you tried to uninstall wells fargo app and reinstall it?
submit an error report if it continues to not work (Samsung Members app > + Button > Error report)
also, i'd try to contact the app dev as well

Yeah I got a US version G998U. That's great to know though! It has stayed since Beta 4.
Well I have fixed this with forcing 120hz all time, but battery usage is not as good

Perhaps this will be an unpopular reply... but here goes...
When a major OS upgrade is released it is up to the APP vedors to release upgraded apps that are compatible with new OS.
(For once I dont think this is Samsung's "fault")

I use Galaxy Max HZ, download them from XDA and set enable motion smoothness to HIGH. You will need to grant the app by ADB.

Hello
After upgrading to android 12 when I press power button during the call it does not end. Also when they call me and I press the power button once the call does not enter silently. Does this cause you too? Thank you

[ROM] YetiROM_Nexus_Inc (Vanilla 2.1)- stable

Alright XDA'ers... I finally got this thing working. As far as I can tell it's stable and runs well. All components of the hardware are functional and I haven't had any problems with it thus far. The only bug I am noticing currently is that it takes a little longer than I would like for the mobile network to load (it's not instantaneous) and the camera is only capable of 3M.
Other than that- this is a port from Nexus One shipped rom ERE27- stock 2.1 as Vanilla as the Yeti's driven snow. No frills except root/superuser and wifi tethering. Also I am using the undervolt stock speeds kernel that ejhart posted a few days ago- it's been very stable on my stock setup and has been very stable throughout this build.
Here's the link- download it, put it on your SDcard, backup your current rom, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, install.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/mtmann3qog1/YetiROM_Nexus_Inc.zip
Hope you like it...
Let me know what you think.
Known bugs as of 06-29-2010:
-GPS not fully functional (not satellite locks)
-Visual Voicemail
-Auto-dim setting not functional (light sensor does not appear to function)
-Camera 3MP (I know this was already stated)
-Does not include Corpcal.apk for exchange calendar syncing- fixed (thanks to ihtftp69 for providing the link)http://www.multiupload.com/L27MSUCMGX see post #53
-Internal storage not recognized
-Facebook won't add to Account Sync
-Bluetooth not functional

Known issues are as stated in the OP- slow start for mobile network and 3M cap on photos. I think the pixel limit has to do with the Nexus camera and oem software limits imposed on the hardware. I'm not that into cameras on my phones so it's not a deal breaker for me. The pain right now is waiting the minute or two to get 3g up and running post boot. Not sure what's going on there so if you have any suggestions I'm open to giving it a whirl if I haven't tried it already- wifi works and you can make calls immediately- just the 3g takes it's sweet time getting off it's ass to come out and play.

For whatever reason I've been having trouble deodexing this rom- it's a shipped rom so everything should be there. The .jar's are deodexing fine, but the .apk's are failing due to a missing boot class path " " so for now I'm just leaving it as is. You can have at it- maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong...

It has done a couple of fast reboots on me so far, and you can't sync your contacts with Facebook... Those are the only 2 things I have seen so far. Other then that I'm loving it!

What happened with the fast reboots? Hasn't happened to me yet and I've been up and running for a while...
Yeah- the facebook thing- I didn't know if that was just a stock deal or not- the inc is my first foray into android.
It also seems to have issues with root explorer when it comes to mounting then unmounting... failed at replacing the bootanimation.zip and manually removing the apps I want gone.

[Q] Google Play Services apk 6.5 for the nexus 6

That is the only reason i want this apk bad! Not having to input my pin/password at home and at my job seems really convenient.
I installed 6.5.85 nnnnn-438
It was updated (by Google) to 6.5.87 nnnnn-430.
I'm unaware of any issues and location unlock is working however it is the case that it doesn't work with lock enable/disable features of Elixer 2 or Power Toggles.
I had -438 installed before and trusted places worked without issues. However, I had poor battery life (mobile radio active), so keep that in mind.

Yes, I read that and decided to try an L version with the closest DPI -- x38.
I had no problems running 85...-438, but as I said *Google* updated it to 87...-430 which apkmirror says is universal (and I still don't have any problems, that I know of).

I installed the 5.85...-438 apk in what I assumed was the standard fashion. After the 5.87...-430 update there's no option to go back.
Maybe someone will upload the 1.88...-730 version to apkmirror.
If you revoke GPS administrator privileges it will allow you to roll back.
I wonder if anyone on the Nexus 6 has received -730? It's been almost a week since the rollout - kind of shocked I don't have it yet AND there is no APK available...

Google pushed 6.5.87 (1599771-430) to my phone. This was also reported by a N6 owner on reddit.
The numbering scheme on apkmirror says -430 is a Nexus 6 with a non-dpi specific resolution. Do you have some reason to suspect Google pushed the wrong apk to my phone?

Is all good man. Everything definitely feels a little quicker and snappier. Only thing I'm not too keen on right now is the icons for phone signal and WiFi have moved to the left of the bar and can't see where to change it. Overall though, a positive experience :good:
Got it
This morning. FIG-LX1, Italy, was in beta program.
Since EMUI 9.1 (FIG-LX1 in Italy) I have noticed:
- less RAM available in daily use (first around 1.7-1.8 on average, now around 1-1.3)
- the only wifi I use is at home, but now Wi-Fi + does not automatically turn off wifi when I leave home and don't wake it up when I come back (yes with EMUI 8)
- the Facebook app does not hide notifications in the notifications section (at the moment it seems so, but when the app is reopened there are still all of them)

Question SOLVED - Lags on One UI 4 beta 2 (Snapdragon)

However I noticed some lags when opening/closing apps, moving to previous app using gesture. It's just not as smooth as the previous 3.1 build.
Anyone else experiencing this? FYI I haven't reset my phone before installing the update. I just went from my previous build to beta 1, and then beta 2, all using sideload update.zip and wipe cache.
HOT FIX:
Go to settings>accessibility>visibility enhancements and tick "reduce transparency and blur" (credit: sultan.of.swing)
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Same with me, but there are youtubers that are showing smooth animations with beta 2. I wonder if its because of sideloading

Go to settings>accessibility>visibility enhancements and tick "reduce transparency and blur".
This will help with some of the lag.

unbelievable! It works!! You are the man. Thanks guys!!
While i can somewhat enjoy my device,
Again .... i am sure this is not turned on in this video because you can see the blur behind. It has to be a setting that is causing this issue
Check it out..but in the end he actually enables reduce blur ....

Hello, I'm a loyal user of yours. When do you plan to update the system for the first time? I've been stuck watching videos on my website, including but not limited to edge, telegram and other software apps that may have the same kernel.

Video jamming is not limited to websites, even gifs
Is anyone still having video play back issues? the whole phone gets really laggy if a PiP video is open or the app it's self is running on the main focus. IDK what the issue is for video play back. The pixel-EXP rom has no issues like this but has a hard time with the battery. This copy of linage is great on the battery no so good to play media content on tho.

The first time I tried to update it, I was prompted that "system settings flash back". Later, I restarted to solve the problem. At present, I have used several days to solve the video problem. When I browse the video of P station, sometimes the screen still flickers black and flickers black, but some video waves play and the problem of cell phone jamming has been improved or solved. I look forward to your next update, and I will continue to feedback.

Volunteer project man.
I have a ton on my plate.
If you're expecting deadlines and crazy fast service, go find somewhere you can pay for it.
Also, not a single person has reported this "video bug" on the proper bugtracker, so have no logs or ability to recreate.

Are you sure, sir, you can try to watch YouTube videos? I directly stuck the screen and had to restart it forcibly, which greatly reduced the mobile experience
