DO NOT BUY BLACKSHARK
Now the bible:
Installation steps (follow closely)
1 Make a TWRP backup
2 Use a pc or an OTG to save your actual backup
3 Transfer the MR0 Global TWRP BACKUP in the otg(easiest way) or in the internal memor TWRP/Backup/*devicecode*/*date*/(backup files)
4 Restore (unpin recovery to keep TWRP)& WIPE data& internal storage
5 Reboot your phone in recovery after install
6 Install magisk (last version >23 for Android 11) to patch the boot.img
7 Enjoy
8 In case of problems use adb push* command to tranfer the backup files again then do again from point 4
9 In case of bootloop switch the boot from A to B :
-from TWRP->Reboot->Slot
or
-from cmd fastboot "fastboot --set-active=a" then reboot
HOW TO FIX OTA
To OTA update, restore recovery from the backup of the global ROM, then procede with the update using the *#*#1027#*#* method than reflash TWRP via fastboot
trying to dump the recovery from the official ota
10 Optional: to enable SafetyNet w/ Magisk flash this module -->[MAGISK][Module] GAPPS 4 Magisk
*ADB File Transfer setup even from TWRPFirst, install Minimal ADB & Fastboot or get the official tools from the Google developer site. I prefer the minimal tools as they contain everything you need in a small installable package, but both will work just fine. If you installed the minimal package, you can simply open this from your Windows search bar. Type:
adb devices
and make sure your device is recognized there.
If you see something like this, you’re good to go.
ADB pushIf you’ve mastered ADB pull, ADB push is easy. It’s the same thing basically. Let’s say I have a file called “goat.jpg” in my root of my C: drive. To push this to the root of my device storage (as in, accessible by my file manager), I simply type:
adb push “C:\goat.jpg” “/sdcard/”
And that’s it! You have now mastered both ADB pull and ADB push!

[GUIDE] Gain Root Access v3 (3 Methods!)

Hello people,
This is for Mi Note Pro (leo)

A lot of people ask how to gain root on the Mi Note Pro without actually searching the posts so I decided to make a quick tutorial on how to do it. This is the way I have done it and I have found it to be the easiest way!
1st Method (THE EASIEST AND SAFEST!)
1. Go to http://en.miui.com/download-273.html and download the Developer ROM
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. If you have downloaded the file through your phone it will be in the Download folder, if not plug your phone into the PC and move the .zip file over to your device.
3. Open Updater app, tap on 3 dots to open the menu and tap on Choose update package
4. Navigate to where you have put in the zip file and click on it and let the phone update. (This will wipe all your data apart from pictures etc.)
5. Once it has loaded go through the setup. Open Security app > Permissions > Root Access.. There you are all done
Make sure you open an app that requires root access first before going to Security app as it will not show up on there.
2nd Method (Advanced Users!)(Temporary TWRP Recovery)
Requirements:
fastboot driver (Link attached)
twrp.img - https://mega.nz/#!nR0jHZqL!2cksl ... 5H76ut8UVtnu97HHAEo
supersu - https://download.chainfire.eu/740/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip
common sense
mi note pro!
1. First of all download all the things you need. Which are fastboot driver, twrp and supersu. All links are above ^ Copy SuperSu over to your device and keep other files on your PC
2. Power off your device and turn it back on by holding Power button and Volume Down at the same time. This will get you into fastboot menu.
3. Woohoo great now what you will have to do is plug your phone to your PC using a usb cable.
4. Open up the Command Promt and navigate to the location of your fastboot driver. Mine is C:/adb so I would type cd C:/adb in the command promt
5. Now type in fastboot devices just to make sure that your device is listed correctly.
6. Extract the TWRP zip so you have just the .img file. Place it inside same folder as fastboot. I tend to rename it to twrp.img (makes lifes easier)
7. Type fastboot boot twrp.img
8. Now your phone should boot into TWRP!! Go to install and flash the SuperSU zip.
9. Reboot and you are all rooted with Stock Recovery and Stable ROM!
3rd Method (Advanced Users!)(Permanent TWRP Recovery)
Requirements:
fastboot driver
twrp.img - https://mega.nz/#!nR0jHZqL!2ckslQxV-ODWnswRYpfDCp2M5H76ut8UVtnu97HHAEo
supersu - https://download.chainfire.eu/740/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip

7. Type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
8. Now your phone should boot into TWRP!! Go to install and flash the SuperSU zip.
9. Reboot and you are all rooted with TWRP recovery, the only problem is that your OTA updates will break. You can flash them manually, when Updater downloads an update go into TWRP>Install and navigate to downloaded_rom folder
In case you need to go back to stock Recovery because you have flashed TWRP Permanently please follow instructions on this thread.http://en.miui.com/thread-124319-1-1.html

Well their Root Access works a bit different to SuperSU instead of popping up with a box promting you to give root access what you have to do is open the app the requires root access, do an action that needs root access then you go to Security > Premissions > Root Access and you have to grant it then.
Is only way to root to do a full wipe?
Can we still do normal updates after installing this developer rom?
Yup you get newest weekly updates and they work perfectly fine! I'm on 5.7.2 currently
Updated.
Is it equally safe to flash the latest 1.0.0 supersu from chainfire? Is there any compatibility constraints? or are all version compatible with all devices? thanks for shedding some light into this
Can you use Flashify and install twrp and supersu or is supersu not needed using method 1? ?
sent from mobile thingy
Super su is not needed using method 1 as they use their own root manager.

---Unlocking bootloader---
This is one of the easiest parts of this tutorial.
-Please keep in mind that this process will reset your device-
You will need:
Xiaomi Mi 10T/PRO device
USB cable
Computer
MiFlash tool (official by Xiaomi for unlocking bootloader) [LINK]
168 hours already spent on your Xiaomi device (It is a security feature that you cannot bypass)
USB drivers for your device [LINK]
Created Xiaomi Account (Used to log in to the MiFlash tool --> so you could unlock your specific device that has the same account on it) [LINK]
ADB, Fastboot tools on Windows [LINK]
-And that should everything needed for unlocking your bootloader-Process:
Open Settings --> About Phone --> TAP on your MIUI version till you see (You are now a developer)
{

}
Go to Additional Settings --> Developer Options --> OEM Unlock + Mi Unlock Status + USB Debugging
Go to Mi Unlock Status --> Add your Account (If you have not already) and device (Do what you see on the screen)
Enable USB Debugging + Change Default USB Configuration (saves us some time)
Plug your Xiaomi Mi 10T/Pro into the computer and choose on your mobile File Transfer. If anytime it asks you to prompt USB debugging from your computer --> Allow it and set it always to allow this computer.
You will now run Command prompt as ADMIN. Go to your ADB, Fastboot tools path with $ cd C:\YOUR\PATH\TO\PLATFORM\TOOLS (now your adb and fastboot commands will work)
Check if your device is connected to the computer --> $ adb devices Now go to fastboot $ adb reboot bootloader
Open the MiFlash tool and log in to your Xiaomi Account --> Hit refresh and you should see your Xiaomi Mi 10T/Pro device (It will have a different name in the program --> fastboot name) Now hit UNLOCK, and that is all, your device is now Unlocked.
OPTIONAL: If your device has not appeared in the MiFlash tool, open up Driver Booster and check for Drivers, update any MISSING DRIVERS and try again (The program works 100%, but sometimes it does not show the device because of NONE USB drivers in Fastboot mode or BAD USB drivers --> if you fix this you can easily Unlock it like in step 7.)
Now your DEVICE will reset and show you a little icon of an unlocked lock on the top of the screen, which means your bootloader is unlocked.
DONE
---Flashing TWRP and ROOT---
You will need:
Xiaomi Mi 10T/PRO device
USB cable
Computer
TWRP image (should be renamed to recovery.img) [LINK]
Vbmeta - This is used to flash to vbmeta, so No-verity-opt-encrypt could work (the file is inside vbmeta.zip called vbmeta.img) [LINK]
No-verity-opt-encrypt - this is used so we could decrypt our phone storage (in short --> so we could WIPE everything --> very useful when flashing custom ROMS) [LINK]
MAGISK for ROOT (rename .apk to .zip) [LINK] (could be outdated in the future, search for Magisk GitHub and download the latest .apk version)
Process:
Plug your Xiaomi Mi 10T/Pro into the computer and choose on your mobile File Transfer. If anytime it asks you to prompt USB debugging from your computer --> Allow it and set it always to allow this computer.
You will now run Command prompt as ADMIN. Go to your ADB, Fastboot tools path with $ cd C:\YOUR\PATH\TO\PLATFORM\TOOLS (now your adb and fastboot commands will work)
Check if your device is connected to the computer --> $ adb devices Now go to fastboot $ adb reboot bootloader
Your downloaded files should be in your ADB, Fastboot folder so you can flash them (TWRP, vbmeta)
Now type $ fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After that is done, we will go to the recovery. Type $ fastboot boot recovery.img this will boot us into the recovery.
Now you should be in TWRP recovery.
Now we can flash MAGISK. Firstly we need to send it to our mobile phone. $ adb push Magisk.zip /sdcard (name of the magisk will be different)
Go to the Install section on your phone and select Magisk --> now, swipe. Now you should have Magisk successfully flashed into your device.
Exit from recovery to system. --> Reboot section --> choose System (on the top)
If everything goes right, you can now run MAGISK apk, and it will ask you for additional things, etc.; etc., click OK, and your phone will reboot after 5 seconds. Congratulations, you have successfully installed TWRP recovery, and you have ROOT too.
Now let's go back to fastboot mode. This time we will use MAGISK. On the top right side should be a "reload button," click it and select REBOOT TO BOOTLOADER.
On your computer, now flash vbmeta with this command. $ fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img.
Next type $ fastboot boot recovery.img to go back to recovery, we need to flash now the no-verity-opt-encrypt. When you are there, push that file to your mobile like this. $ adb push Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip /sdcard (name of the file could be different). Once that is done, go to the install section, click on the no-verity-opt-encrypt, and swipe to flash it.
Now you can reboot to System and download the Official TWRP app [LINK] (might be outdated, search for TWRP Official app apkmirror, and download the latest version)
This app is handy for flashing other versions of TWRP without the need for a computer. GUIDE: Open the app --> TWRP Flash --> It will ask you to prompt SuperUser rights, click allow. --> You will see two buttons (Select a device and Select a file to flash) --> The Select Device option is left empty (No device selected) and now click on the Select a file to flash and choose your .img file of TWRP. Now you tap, FLASH TO RECOVERY, and you are done.
DONE
---Flashing custom ROMS---You will need:
Xiaomi Mi 10T/PRO device
USB cable
Computer
Your custom ROM .zip file
Everything else mentioned in this tutorial (TWRP, MAGISK, etc...)
Process:
Go to the recovery using Magisk or whatever you like.
This time, we will go to the WIPE section. Do a regular SWIPE --> then FORMAT DATA (type YES) --> then Advanced WIPE (select everything EXCEPT for USB OTG)
Now, if you did everything right, there should not be many errors (It should always show SUCCESSFUL on the top of the screen when operating)
Now we can push our custom ROM .zip file to our Xiaomi Mi 10T/Pro device. The command should look like this $ adb push Evolution_X.zip /sdcard (the name of the custom ROM can be different)
Go to the Install section, select your custom ROM and install it. Now, pray that nothing goes wrong. I have done it right with THIS EXACT TUTORIAL (made by my friend and me). If anything bad happens, ask me for help if you need it. Reboot to the System and ENJOY your new ROM.
DONE
I hope that this helped you. I had to find pretty much all of this on my own. Enjoy.

Hello. Could you give me more information? What do you want to install? Because if you've flashed dm-verity it's already installed. If it worked, you can try rebooting to recovery (if you have System still) and it will ask you for your password from your phone. It's used for decryption of your Internal Storage.

Google legacy drivers. You need something like that. Install them and then repair them with DriverBooster. This worked for me. I haven't found any official drivers. If you find something new or better, please let me know.

Fixed it. Uninstall existing driver then reinstall it using bootloader unlock tool.
Thanks for making a detailed guide.
MOD EDIT: QUOTE REMOVED
BTW you should add to your guide that with latest (unofficial) TWRP MTP works, so adb sideloading won't be the only way to transfer files anymore. Or perhaps it works because I did a full driver reinstall, not sure on this one. Just tested.

Wait. MTP works? I tried a few days ago and still no MTP support. So I gave it the adb push. I thought that more convenient.

Yep just flashed a custom rom on my phone, every zips transferred using MTP. Doesn't hurt if it turns out not working for you or anyone.

Question Going back to global from custom EU

Hello everyone, I would like to ask you how I can get back to stock official global rom, as I'm not very happy with the custom eu, firstly it is slower in app opening than global, it has chinese theme, dialer and messages are xiaomi and I don't like. Yes camera has some improvements but general experience is worse as well as battery life is almost the same (obviously they remove all analytics, something you can do yourself through ADB)
Just flash the latest stock global fastboot ROM, twrp will be overwritten. Don't forget to format data but I think that is done in the fastboot script if selected anyway. https://mifirm.net/model/star.ttt#global-fastboot-stable
Thank you so much do you have a guide to do the process? Also I would like to ask, would you recommend the stock global or the official EEA firmware (it is more updated) for a global unit? My unit is indeed the one whom you gave the firmware
I have never tried EEA but have Global. I prefer the Xiaomi dialler, contacts and messaging, so opposite to you but each to their own. It's up to you to choose, you can try each now your bootloader is unlocked.
Just download the relevant fastboot package, extract ( unzip) until you get to just folders, may need a couple of times, can't remember off hand. Once you have the folders and files, connect your phone to your PC, reboot it to fastboot and then select the bat file ( choose the one that formats data as you are changing branches) and let it run. It's just like the first ROM change from stock.
Once the script is complete and successful it should reboot. It will take time as it's a new ROM but as long as you see miui, it will be all good. You will now have stock recovery too.
I always do this using a command prompt but some prefer to use miflash, so use what you did to get it to the EU ROM. But just incase I've forgotten anything, have a read up on this, may be pop over to the Xiaomi EU forum too for some advice, https://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra-lite.211/
So I should download the fastboot rom, then unzip the content and run the flashbat through fastboot command right? Is this the firmware I can relock the bootloader with,if I want to?
Could you please tell me where to extract the zip file to? I will use fastboot cmd, so I assume the whole rom must be extracted into fastboot directory right?
one more thing I would like to point out, honestly global rom seems faster, especially apps cold start, I'm really disappointed by this, I thought xiaomi eu was much quicker rom but the only good side of it is that it gets updated quicker, and have some new feature, but honestly my wife's mate 20 pro on stock rom at 60hz and full of apps and bloatware runs the apps faster than this phone at 120hz with a snapdragon888, this is ridicolous I spent money to have a blazing fast phone. It is almost comparable to my old one plus 3 on AOSP, even more ridicolous lol
This is the guide found on th website you linked me.
1. If Fastboot firmware. The ext. must be tgz. If not. Rename it from .gz to .tgz. Extract it by WinRAR
2. For Fastboot firmware. Download XiaomiFlash lastest. Extract tool after downloaded
3. Open XiaoMiFlash.exe. Install driver if tool required. Press select and select to firmware/ROM folder what includes flash_all.bat
4. Make sure your phone are unlocked bootloader. Or you must bring your phone to EDL mode (9008) to flash
5. Bring phone to Fastboot mode by hold Power and Volume down for 5-10s. Release button when It show Fastboot
6. Connect Phone to Computer. Press Refresh to scan device. If a device showed is Ok
7. Tick clean all (very important). If not, your phone will LOCKED BOOTLOADER after flash done
8. Press Flash and wait util it show success or any error
I use adb and fastboot via command prompt, what should I do? I don't understand points 6 and 7 and what bat should I run? flash_all.bat?
1 download the official tgz rom and unpack 2 times until there will be only directory and files and put directly on C drive
2.Download xiaomi miflash and place on drive C.
3 run miflash and install the fastboot drivers
4 start the phone in fastboot mode and connect to the PC and tell the program the path to the rom directory
5 In miflash, click refresh to make the device appear on the list
6 in miflash at the bottom select clean all
7 click flash and wait for rom to install and phone reboot
what is this miflash? miflash pro?

do I need to format any data first? Or it is as simple as that and the process will take care of all?
I did the flash with the official EEA ROm instead of the global but it ended the flashing procedure like this

But don't know why phone has booted as normal and now I'm into the setup process
why that error? because I'm on a global device?
Does anybody have any idea why the error occurred?
Also I would like to ask you how can I install magisk?
Booting into fastboot using the command to boot into twrp (fasboot boot twrp.img) and then run magisk.zip right?
After reboot I should stay on stock recovery and have magisk installed correct?
Is there a way to falsh the firmaware and format allal data using the command prompt instead of the miflash tool?

fix
How do you want to install the magisk, do as you write
fastboot boot twrp.img after starting recovery install the zip file from magisk
then you can do data formatting as well.
Data format> YES
To install magisk AFAIK I don't need to format data,right?
Format data I was referring to the firmware flash via cmd prompt instead of mi flash, if I run the cmd into adb and fastboot folder I should copy all the firmware files into the same folder and run what command to do a full wipe using flashall.bat?
Will I have any problem in my rom/firmware/phone with that error? The phone booted and I am using it now and so far no issues whatsoever, actually the phone is blazing fast and everything is running smoothly

Question How to flash twrp recovery and root redmi note 10s?

I can't install a twrp recovery if I tried
A message appears (remote : this partition doesn't exist)
You wont be able to find rosemary's twrps yet... But you can root this model unlocking bootloader and flashing a modified boot.img from magisk APK, you can follow this instructions to do that; (you'll need the redmi note 10 s original rom firmware to extract the boot img and you can get it from here: https://c.mi.com/es/miuidownload/detail?device=1900397)
First, extract the boot.img file from Redmi Note 10 firmware. You can use 7Zip or WinRAR.
Now install the Magisk Manager app on your phone.
Open the Magisk Manager app and click on the Install.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
In the next step choose ‘Select and Patch a File’ from the option.
Browse and select the boot.img file, and it will start patching the boot image.
The output file will be stored in the download folder with the name magisk_patched.img.
Copy the patched boot image file to your computer in folder C:\adb. Also, rename the patched file to boot.img.
Reboot your Redmi Note 10 to Fastboot mode and connect it to your computer.
In the C:\adb folder (or platform-tools folder) press Shift + Right click on an empty area and select ‘Open Command window here’ or ‘Open PowerShell window here.’
You can check if the device is connected or not by entering the below command that should return some device id.
fastboot devices
Now enter the below command to flash Magisk and root Redmi Note 10.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
After flashing the patched boot image. reboot your device to the system.
Install Magisk Manager if it’s not already installed.
Complete the in-app instructions, and the device will automatically reboot into the system.
That’s all, now your phone is rooted. You can check for root access using any root checker app. And once you have root access on your Redmi Note 10, you can enjoy all the apps and features that require root access. As you know Xiaomi phones show ads on some system apps that you can disable with root access. You can use different Xposed Modules to customize your phone. Also, you can install Xposed Framework on your phone to use modules.
Or if your system has an a/b partition you'll have to type this on your command window:
fastboot flash boot_a patched_boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b patched_boot.img
Or follow this page... https://mytechgyangadgets.com/how-to-root-redmi-note-10s-via-magisk-and-supersu/

Theres 2 ways to do It explained up but i prefer first one
This is a questionable part I think:
1. If your phone doesn’t have A/B partition system:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
2. If your phone has A/B partition system:
fastboot flash boot_a patched_boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b patched_boot.img
Based on the Treble Check app, at least my phone, supported Seamless System Updates and is detected to have an A/B system partition => should be used 2?
This might be a reason of : "this partition doesn't exist" with 1.

#bosr you have to follow the second step pf your post yo success, It seems that note's 10 has an a/b system partition...
!! Success !!
The process I´ve rooted my Redmi Note 10s with V12.5.8.0.RKLEUXM ROM:
(besides all needed drivers, adbs, proper fasboot ROM version, unlocked bootloader, little bit of a fear that the phone could be hard bricked and a few more) :
- patched boot.img via magisk manager v23
- flashed empty vbmeta.img as decribed here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/root-gained.4290689/
- flashed patched_boot.img (the latest platform-tools flashed it directly to boot_a)
- reboot
Voila, Redmi Note 10s is rooted and Magisk v23 installed

You are searching in the wrong type of ROM. It must be the fastboot type.
for example: rosemary_global_images_V12.5.11.0.RKLMIXM_20210618.0000.00_11.0_global_06239807c1.tgz
Unpack (winrar, winzip, 7-zip ...) it, there is a folder images and boot.img in it
Do not forget to flash empty vbmeta.img first, see here

Yeah. Apologies. Just realized it.
I was able to successfully get root access using the additional step mentioned by @bosr (Thanks a lot for that). However post that I literally bricked my device trying to debloat the device by using debloater. Post removing few of the mi bloatware apps, when I rebooted and the device kept on going into default mi recovery (even with power + vol-). I was not able to access the fastboot mode at all, no matter what I do.
Then I did the ultimate blunder ... reset the device from mi recovery. Post that I lost adb privileges as well. Besides the phone would still not boot - MIUI logo flashed with sound, then a white setup screen for a sec and again reboot.
Searching online could not fetch anything. Then I tried moving the phone to mi assistance mode from mi recovery (which is nothing but sideload mode), connect to PC and used 'adb sideload'.
Voila, the phone was detected, from sideload mode, I was able to reboot to fastboot mode, and then flash the stock rom using miflashtool. Whole 4 hours of tussle.
Sharing here, just in case someone else, gets into the same situation.
!! BADLY WAITING FOR A CLEAN ROM FOR THIS DEVICE .... <Prayers>!!
It is strange.
I did it on two "10s" devices with EAA roms w/o problems.
Did you flash flash empty vbmeta.img first and boot.img than?
Did you use the latest platform-tools as previous ones are not able to flash directly to boot_a) automatically and you must use fastboot flash boot_a command instead.

Apologies for incorrect use of language. What I meant was that your instructions were 100% correct and accurate. However, post getting root access successfully and magisk installed, I tried to debloat the device using 'debloater' module under Magisk and ended up deleting some rogue apps which Mi wants us to keep. All the issues happened after that.
I have updated my original comment as well.
OK. Apology accepted
Hi Y'all,
I just got a new Note 10s and I'm willing to root device.
I'm still in the phase of waiting for the unlocked bootloader, but already trying to get all the necessary data for root.
While searching for the fastbbot Rom to extract the boot.img I discovered the follwing problem:
I can only find the fastboot Rom for the following SW: V12.5.8.0.RKLEUXM
But my Note 10s is already on V12.5.10.0.RKLEUXM. For this SW only the recovery ROM is available.
How long will it take for Xiaomi to upload the latest fastboot ROM? Or am I doing something wrong,
Any help really appreciated
Andreas
I also got a new Note 10s. I updated it to the latest available version (12.5.8.0 RKLEUXM, EEA).
Downloaded these ROMs (recovery and fastboot):
miui_ROSEMARYEEAGlobal_V12.5.8.0.RKLEUXM_b29e7c6a8a_11.0.zip
rosemary_eea_global_images_V12.5.8.0.RKLEUXM_20210617.0000.00_11.0_eea_6ec37534bb.tgz
But I didn't found any boot.img in the last fastboot one.
Finally I extracted boot.img from the first one (recovery) using payload_dumper - but what's wrong with the easier and usual way to extract it from the fastboot ROM? Isn't it available anymore inside this ROM?
@Agzyx
You could try the payload_dumper method to extract boot.img from recovery ROM.
@Mac23
payload_dumper may be a solution. I need to wait another 5 days for bootloader unlock anyway, so I have some more time before trying to gain root access.
@All
Is there a way to "downgrade" to V12.5.8.0.RKLEUXM?
Loss of data is no problem, as the phone will be rooted anyway in the future.

Very good but easier with unlocked bootloader and flashing twrp via adb flash recovery "name of twrp file". Afterwards you can flash directly magisk (I prefer 23 canary debug apk) to root.
if i may add to the troubleshooting: if it says magisk.img isn't found, just type this (after confirming connection with fastboot devices command:
fastboot flash boot
then drag and drop the patched magisk file onto the cmd window/line where you typed the command above. worked for me.
Tanks you
For beginners, "assuming bootloader is unlocked if not click here" should be mentioned.

I've searched around, and it seems to be caused by a VPN. If you use a VPN, turn it off and try again. If not, it could be that the Xiaomi unlocking API is down temporarily.

No need to flash lazy flasher since you already flashed Magisk. They both do the same which is to disable dm verity. Also, lazy flasher is an old zip intended for old devices so maybe that's why it failed.

When I root my Redmi Note 10 Pro (sweet) by using twrp to flash magisk 25.2 and lazyflasher-no-verify-opt-encrypt.zip, I receive following message
View attachment 5704507.
Nevertheless, I reboot my phone which is effectively rooted.
I can then install Magisk manager.
Has someone an idea about the meaning of this error message ?
Thanks in advance.

THis is the stupidest guide for beginners, this article assumes you have unlocked your phone in the first place. All the important steps are just skipped and is stuffed in the requirements. And just shows simple screenshots that even a child would know where to click.
