I have Note 5 SM-920G single sim unlocked version indian
This phone automatically turns off sometimes (3-4 times a day)
this usually happens when a call comes. like i hear a ringtone for a 1 sec. then i check , phone is complete blank
i have to press power key , then it turns ON .
other time , when i pull device from pocket , press home key to use , it vibrates little bit , and complete blank. then i have to press power key to turn ONN
i also installed latest STOCK ROM 7.0 via Odin , but still issue not resolved.
can anyone guide what exactly this issue can be?

Please help as my note 5 become brick after I installed an apk from XDA.now I can't charge,reboot or reset the phone.the white led been on for an hour.any one experience this before?I hope can have my data in the phone..sob

Have you tried going into download mode? Hold volume down, home button and lock button?
Try holding every single button down at the same time until the screen turns on.. might have to hold the buttonss down for a while
Hi- So I was using chrome on my Mi 9 and when the screen locked the actually went off. Now it doesn't turn on. If I press the on button then all it does is show me the Mi logo and then it goes to black and then the logo again, sometimes the logo turns orange but either way it doesn't turn on.
I don't know anything about custom ROMs so I have my phone stuck, also use it for whatsapp, youtube and chrome, no games, no nothing.
Can someone help me fix this? I don't even know where to begin. I have the global version and upadated to MIUI 11 back in November I believe.
Oh and I just remembered my phone did this like 2 times in the past but it eventually booted fine. This time is not working.

I assume your bootloader is locked.
You can try to boot to recovery (Power + Vol up) dans wipe data. On the most case this could fix your problem.
BTW you'll lost all your data.

my phone MI9 turns off randomly since the release MIUI 12 was released.

I am sorry for the late reply.
When My MI9 turns off, it usually goes back to normal after it.
In some cases, it turns on again but turns back on immediately when the MIUI logo is displayed.
When i press a keyrboard character, it is typed several times.

so i went back to 12.0.2
