Re-Lock Bootloader - Help Requested **Solved** - Samsung Galaxy A30 Questions & Answers

Hello all!
I am attempting to re-lock my A30.
I have flashed the stock firmware and unlocked Developer mode and USB debugging
I've tried via adb in the following way (because flashing stock firmware alone did not re-lock)
enter command -> reboot bootloader
phone goes into download mode
enter command -> fastboot oem lock
Phone does nothing and adb Powershell window sits there with "waiting for device"
Any assistance would be magic, thanks so much

To regain root, simply use
Code:
fastboot boot
and drag and drop the TWRP file and press enter, and install root of your choice.

Boot loader won't unlock LG G4 H811
I have a LG G4 H811 (firmware version H81120o)
I want to unblock the bootloader but all attempts did not help
when you try to unlock through the ADB, after the second command line
the following text appears on the phone:
--------------------------------------------------------------
* Welcome to Fastboot Mob for bootloader unlock:
* Quik Guidance
1) How to ulock: fastboot oem unlock
2) Check bootloader is unlocked: fastboot getvar unlocked
* HOW TO exitfastboot mode
1) Press the Power button for 10 secs to turn off the device
2) Use "fastboot reboot" command if the fastboot is available
----------------------------------------------------------------
After the appearance of such text, the phone freezes and does not respond to any commands
I've tried all the ways that you can find on "YouTube" but they do not help
help me please
sorry for the incorrect text, I use Google translator
thanks to everyone

This is 2 months late, but if you're still looking for a possible solution, this is what I did:
1.) Download the tools you need here: https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools/ and extract
2.) Install LG United Mobile Drivers from here: https://lg-united-mobile-driver.en.lo4d.com/. I recommend uninstalling previously installed LG G4 drivers from Device Manager and then reinstall from that page. You may need to install additional drivers once you connect your G4 to your computer.
3.) In Developer Options, make sure you have "Enable OEM unlock" checked and "USB Debugging"
4.) Open a command prompt in the tools directory (hold shift, right-click inside the folder, and click "open command prompt here." If you've authorized your device to be recognized by your computer (two prompts should popup: one to allow USB connection and another to allow USB debugging), your device should be listed if you enter the command "adb devices"
5. Enter "adb reboot bootloader"
6. Once the phone has rebooted into the bootloader, you should be at the stage where you get the text on your phone, as you described. Enter "fastboot oem unlock"
7. Check if you've unlocked the bootloader: "fastboot getvar unlocked"
8. If successful, you can then go on to flash TWRP onto the recovery partition and root your phone by flashing Magisk from there.
Hello .. I have a LG G4 811 t mobile32GB phone, what is the appropriate flash?

Unlock OEM via ADB

Hi, so my Xiaomi MI A2 is kinda not working and I think that wiping cache partition might help but I can't access the recovery so I wanted to install TWRP. The thing is I have the boatloader locked, I have the USB depuration activated but not the OEM, so how can I unlock boatload or unlock OEM via fastboot?
Thanks

It won't let me. It says:
my command: fastboot oem unlock System: FAILED (remote "flashing unlock is not allowed")
Fastboot: error: command failed.
Same with the critical. I also had an error trying another command, it said, not allowed in lock mode.
Actually, I'm trying other commands and it's the same error with all comands.

Failed to get unlock data

Hey guys.
Is it possible to root without unlocking bootloader? I ask this, because every time I tried to unlock the bootloader I get the warning "Failed to get unlock data"
- I'm using Android 11
- "OEM Unlock" and "USB Debugging": checked
- Drivers and adb: installed
- Tested on all computer usb ports
Fastboot recognizes commands (example: fastboot reboot bootloader). However, it does not return the code to unlock the bootloader.
Thanks for help!

Question Can't get into fastboot to unlock bootloader

Phone info
OPPO A74 5G
Model number - CPH2197
Build number - CPH2197_11_A.12
Android 11
Developer Mode enabled
OEM Unlock enabled
USB Debugging enabled
Below are screenshots of all of the above

Phone is recognised by ADB but not Fastboot and as such I cannot unlock the Bootloader. Is there something I've done wrong or something else I can try?
When entering "Fastboot devices" in CMD nothing comes up.
When entering command "ADB reboot Bootloader" in CMD the phone restarts instead of loading into Bootloader.
I have tried turning phone off and the pushing power button + vol up - this just keeps restarting phone.
Any help would be much appreciated as I'd really like to root this phone all extra info in images on Imgur. Link above.

Did you find a way? I tried everything but I couldn't get into fastboot
No way to enter fastboot mode for oppo phones. Now I use Oppo A74 4G version. Cannot enter fastboot mode. It's locked by Oppo. And they don't give bootloader code for unlock BL. Only way is to change phone
I've been trying run fastboot too. 4 hours later I find this thread. That explains it
Last Oppo phone I buy I guess.
Did you manage to find a workaround for this by chance?
Has anyone tried rebooting from recovery to then enter fastboor or?
Im gonna look into myself soon...
Ive seen this issue before on a different phone but cant remember how they bypassed it
Perhaps yall can try to find a post where they did so.. maybe it'll work on this phone too.
I was able too get to fastboot mode. The phone labels it "recoveryd mode", however, fastboot commands work.
1st. Connect phone and confirm ADB is connected by using "ADB devices" command.
2nd. Enter "adb reboot fastboot bootloader"
Phone will reboot into "recoveryd mode". It looks exactly like the normal recovery mode except the title displayed after you select the language and fastboot commands will work.
However, I still have not found out how to unlock the bootloader, so it does me no good.
try doing adb reboot fastboot or adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
FAILED (remote: 'Unable to open fastboot HAL')
fastboot: error: Command failed
guys ,, fails
when trying to boot to fastboot and not fastbootd

How to flash or close the bootloader on open pixel 5a ? g.co/ABH

Hi I've a pixel5, it was reset to V11 software for compatibility with my son's medical device. Now with added security the app wont work because the bootlaoder is open. When I boot it say sits unlocked and to visit g.co/ABH
I've tried but cannot get it closed
When I go to fastboot I get the 'no command'.. on tring to flash it allows me to see the device and reboot the bootloader BUT then it will not respond to the cmd fastboot devices. when I try fastboot flashing lock it just says <waiting for device>
Any help? !
Billy

I'm confused about "sits unlocked" and if this means you're stuck on the unlocked bootloader warning screen. If the phone hangs you're better off keeping the bootloader unlocked until that problem is sorted out. If it's starting, on the other hand...
Waiting for device means fastboot isn't communicating with the phone. Could be USB drivers. But if you flashed Android 11 from the same computer, drivers were working then, right?
In Developer options make sure USB debugging is enabled. While there, and while the bootloader is still unlocked, make sure OEM unlock is in the On position; it will flip back to Off when the bootloader is locked again.
Use Platform Tools 33.0.3 when trouble shooting USB to avoid trouble shooting Platform Tools 34.x.x.
As long as you get serial number output from commands adb devices and fastboot devices, fastboot flashing lock should work to re-lock the bootloader. Remember to finalize locking with the phone buttons.
Thank you both is was indeed the USB driver that needed the google update... All is well! thanks
