no way to relock bootloader in chinese device with global rom?

there is no chance to get a workaround to relock the bootloader in a chinese device running global rom?
Probably not.... Maybe someone make a hack... but I had Yotaphone and there was option to install RU (global) rom - problem was only with no supporting bands and hacked baseband to partially fix it. But here is the problem... damn bootloader - maybe some one will be able to hack and replace vitaminised bootloader with official ?
Development is still weak, we do not have kernel source code, which is a bit difficult but it should appear in the future.
well someone has found a workaround for the Mi Mix 2S?

This is not workaround for the question of the treatd!
I also bought chnina version with global rom and unlocked bootloader
Misled by the seller showing large photo with official global rom, but in description with small lethers:
OS ------------ MIUI, Unlocked Bootloader, Official Global ROM, China Version, Support OTA Update.
(Inquiry is necessary if want to reflash firmware)
I`m still waiting delivery, but after I red what I bought I start looking for solution for relock bootloader with Global Rom. So far, no one manage to make it. As @gugugrp said, we have to wait for solution in future (how long, no one knows).
I have one question too, is it posible OTA Update of the global rom already instaled without locking bootloader?
Hi, why do you want to relock BL with global rom?
I have a CN version with unlocked BL and global rom, but it seems useless to me to lock it, or not?

Some apps don`t work at all or don`t work properly or need third party apps to work. Also, if you use the phone as work one, you would prefer OTA update This is my persional opinion of course. If you are about to use custom roms and to play with the phone, it is beter to leave it unlocked.
The problem is not the unlocked bootloader, but the fact that the MiUI 9 stable play store is not sertificated for this deviece... . You also have OTA with the official global and unlocked bootloader.

Google pay does not work with unlocked bootloader for sure (as far as I know). I red some threads for worckaround with third party apps, but....at your own risk. I`m not a dev, just wanted simple phone with OTA update and decently security. If the problem is only in MIUI 9 and when MIUI 10 Global Official comes out fixes this, I`ll be ok, but anyway...would like to know I can lock bootloader with global rom
That would be my exact question in 12 days. Let me know if you know
Same situation for me, using the Chinese Rom instead which allows to lock the bootloader. I will move to the global one when (or if) this could be done...

I doubt xiaomi will ever rollback on the policy, however if the certification on google play is what u are concerned about, installing an older version of magisk and using the universal magisk patcher can mask the unlocked bootloader

As I said I am using the chinese ROM to avoid having the bootloader unlocked. Therefore I had to install the google play myself . Inside the google play settings, the play protect certification field says: Device is not certified.
I found somewhere that this is the reason why NFC payments do not work.
Do you think that the trick with the magisk old version will fix this?
Other than this the Chinese ROM version is working perfect!

Question Is it safe to flash EU ROM on Xiaomi Mi 11? Global??

So the EU ROM thread says you have to be on China Rom.
When I got my Xiaomi Mi 11, it's on MIUI 12.0.3.0 Global ROM.
I would like to know if it is safe or alright to flash EU ROM, even if my phone is the global version.
Edit: I bought this phone from Lazada Philippines. The seller says it is the global version.

China model is M2011K2C
Global model is M2011K2G
Check this before.
Do you mean xiaomi.eu by EU ROM?
If so, you can flash them on both devices after the bootloader unlock.

Yes. Just use it and try again to unlock after the 168 hours. But have in mind: when you do the unlock the whole phone is wiped! So make sure you have a backup of important stuff first.

Xiaomi EU is debloated, passes Safetynet and Widevine L1 out of box, even if you are rooted. You will have Xiaomi Dialer and contact instead of Google ones. You can have MIUI 12.5 Beta or MIUI 12 Stable.

Try with Magisk Hide button on settings
I just want to confirm:
"You can install Xiaomi.EU rom on the chinese model (M2011K2C) if the bootloader is unlocked without any problems"
I am asking again because I recently flashed a Xiaomi.EU rom on my Redmi Note 9 pro, and I had to restore it to stock by flashing it through EDL and had to pay $25 for that.
I don't want the same to happen to my newly bought Mi 11
hi there. i have unlocked, flashed eu. everything went great. i am on eu 12.5. i flashed patched boot for magisk, all went great. but how do i pass saftey net.??? is it because i am on beta rom, i also enabled magisk hide
So I tried the terminal with props. I chose Xiaomi Mii 11 fingerprint and rebooted. Still failed

If you check directly in Magisk - it doesn't work in the moment. Problem that Google changed the API check. Patch is already work in progress. In the meantime you can check with the app "SafetyNet attest" from Playstore. That shows that safetynet is green
Hey so I checked that app. It was green. So I uninstalled magisk APK. Rebooted. Then I installed canary version of magisk. And passes safetynet.

It's really a bad idea :
- A lot of Official Xiaomi Mi 11 tester have encounter EDL mode / Full Brick by flashing OTA ROM
- Actual TWRP is NOT compatible with A12... (and it's the only way you can flash your link because we don't have the fastboot version)
So before share this, try yourself but you are warned... be careful !
hello, from more than android 11 to android 12 the change will not even be seen I think due to the miui overlay.

Oh yes! I can confirm this very much. I got into EDL and couldn't solve it myself. Finally I paid telegram guy to unbrick/reflash and solve it. So I would NOT recommend anyone (who is not super expert in to flashing a/b partition and all) to try it using recovery-twrp flash.

This is true. I bricked MI 11 twice.
What is curious is that MIUI 12.5.1.0 (android 12), is in the firmware library of MI and is for recovery

Not if you have a full brick (Black screen). Only if you are on EDL mode.
So you can really Brick your device, it can be expensive to just install a MIUI A12 with lags & many bugs.
I advise all to wait on A11 for the moment.

Question Google play uncertified & next steps

I have purchased a mi 11 Ultra from CEX in the UK and updated as soon as I got home so I am now on 13.04 Global.
When I started to set up the device I noticed I can't add cards to google wallet or use Netflix because it isn't certified. I've checked and the device isnt rooted.
Can anyone help and advise how I resolve this?
I would advise installing the Xiaomi EU rom. That ROM passes certification.

Has anyone installed Redmi 9 Lancelot Official Lineage OS rom on redmi 9 lava

right now i have redmi 9 lava (3/32) and seeing the new redmi 9 lancelot official rom i wonder if it will work on my phone without problems. Has anyone tried it?
I have the 4Gb RAM version and LOS 20 works fine although its using up to 2.8Gb RAM. Personally I wouldn't run Android 13 aka LOS 20 on a 3Gb RAM phone. I actually wish I got the 6Gb RAM version.

I currently have the pixel experience rom installed and it definitely runs much better than stock. You didn't encounter any problem with the installation, did you? Also if you have any problem I would like to hear it. Thank you very much my friend for the reply!
In addition, updates are done normally?
Yes there is weekly OTA updates. Also yes LOS 20 runs much better than stock, faster and uses less ram, on stock miui 13 Android 12 I couldn't even run two apps at the same time such as Outlook and Chrome. As for installation you need MIUI 13 Android 12, the latest stock rom, otherwise LOS 20 won't work, I believe it will bootloop. I just followed the instructions on LOS website, didn't have any problem.
Also I used the default LOS recovery instead of TWRP as TWRP isn't updated anymore and I wasn't sure if it will work. You need to unlock bootloader using Xiaomi app or a script from here Xda if you don't want to wait several days for the Xiaomi app unlock as there is a waiting timer, idk why Xiaomi did this.
you have me completely covered. I have done this process many times and know what to do, thanks for the advice anyway. You sure have the "lava" version right? Because you mentioned above that you wanted to buy the version with the 6gb ram which is only available in the Lancelot version and I would like to be sure
