Question Does a Xiaomi debloat script exist - Xiaomi 11T Pro

I've used Titanium Backup to remove most stuff that I associated but does somebody has a Shellskript to remove it?

Titanium Backup is deprecated and can cause serious problems (even cause a bootloop) better use XiaomiADBFastbootTools for that.
Here is a list of xiaomi stuff that can be safely removed/disabled found on poco. Should for any xiaomi device. Do it at your own risc though.

[Q] Updating, Wiping, Restoring and Titanium...

Dear community,
today as a first step I have successfully rooted my Phone (Froyo 2.2.1) with CF-Root Kernel and Odin, yay! Thanks to all the Developers, Guides and Refs on this page!!
In order to fix my ongoing battery issues, next thing I want to try is to flash a new ROM; I think for stability and for practice the latest Froyo Build JS8! I have downloaded Titanium Backup and have successfully backed up all my system and user apps and settings.
Now when I flash the new ROM, the phone will be wiped, or at least the Wipe-method is recommended (hard-reset AFTER the flashing?).
Can I restore at least some settings and apps with my Titanium Backup Files (I read restoring system apps/settings is not recommended)?
How would I do that (where does Titanium save the backup files?)
How do you guys usually perform the steps to a new ROM without losing all system settings, apps, app-settings etc...?
Thanks for all recommendations!
I would recomend you, restore user apps only. It will restore your apps and their settings. You could do it in batch mode.
Also is recomended to copy your TitaniumBackup folder to PC
Last but not least, do not forget copy your EFS folder too.

1) Get titanium backup PRO.
2) Batch backup your whole system (while you're at it, create a schedule so your phone automatically gets backed up at least once/week). The files will go on your sd card in a TitaniumBackup folder (actually you can specify where they go).
3) Go and nuke your phone with whatever.
4) Re-install Titanium backup, then batch restore your USER apps & settings. Leave the system settings alone for now.
5) Okay for system settings, be a bit more selective:
6) Go to Backup/Restore tab, select menu, then filters, then apply a Filter by Type: System.
7) Anything in GREEN is system settings (red=system applications).
8) I typically restore the following: Contacts/Call-logs; SMS/MMS/APN; Bookmarks; SMS/MMS Preferences; Wifi Access Points; Calendar Storage (think that includes your alarm clock settings).
Note that you may need to reboot before you see the restore take effect - e.g. you can't see your restored sms till after reboot.
Also it's safest to grab a copy of your titanium backup folder and put it on your computer. Lookup how to get a copy of your /efs too.
Thanks for the swift answers and useful guides! Will buy the Titanium Pro for sure.
In the Pro Version it says it can convert System Apps into User Apps and vice versa. Couldn't I just convert all the System Apps into User Apps and then restore everything, once on new ROM?
About the freezing feature of the Pro Version: Does it freeze complete Apps, or can you tell them to freeze specific tasks? I noticed that for example some Google Maps or Latitude tasks run in the background (and start again by themselves if i close them manually) and I would like them to get out of the phone memory while I don't have the program running. Yet I want the apps to function properly once I need them.
P.S.: Before I proceed flashing a new ROM I will also look into backing up my /efs folder so thanks for pointing me at this!
Okay, I figured out how to backup the /efs folder via ADB shell.
Questions remain though concerning Titanium Backup Pro. Can someone that uss Titanium Pro help me with these questions?

You could convert it technically. But generally it's not advised as it may mess up settings or so on a different ROM. I backed up my system stuff but I doubt I'll restore it on any ROM, the hassle isn't worth it if any issue shows up and you have to check everything out to fix it. Maybe some individual system thingies can be restored safely but keep in mind lots of system stuff changes on each ROM and could be incompatible.
Just like others did here, I also recommend the PRO version as you have to click every single restoration on a batch restoration otherwise (and it's probably slower anyway).
Freezing means just that, it freezes the app. It "deactivates it", so it's not there/usable but it's not uninstalled. Can't think of a scenario right now where this would be useful except for testing purposes, maybe if an app causes an issue and you want it to be gone temporarily or so.
If you don't want an app to continue running simply use the task manager to kill it which comes along with the SGS (Samsung app afaik, usually pre installed).
Btw Titanium has a nice wiki website which is really helpful but can't link it as a new user here. Google Titanium Backup wiki and the first link should be the correct one.
Correct me if I'm wrong but if you do a app+data restore the app doesnt show up in the market under installed which means that any updates to the app wont get rolled out.
What I did was install each of my apps from the market then did only a data restore. This worked for most of my apps BUT last night I noticed a few of my apps missing, in fact launching my angry birds from simi folder caused a FC. BUT I know that angry birds was working earlier in the day.
So I simply went back to the market and reinstalled and all seems well again.
So now I'm wondering what is the best method to restore, my method or maybe do a app+data restore then go to the market and install the app again.
Afaik, normally Titanium also backs up the links for the markets so the entries won't get lost and should be restored as well. There was an issue mentioned which can happen if that data gets corrupted. The Titanium wiki lists it.
Generally, installing the app from the market and then restoring it should work just fine.

[Q] Titanum + bricking

Since I read in some threads, that Titanum has a high bricking-risk after upgrading form GB to ICS (resp. CM9) I am curious about more details. For system-apps I understand it to some extend that an GB-version might get in conflict with the ICS-version and then stops. Resp. Titanum overwrites the ICS-system app and therefore ... With regular apps I do not really understand, cause for e.g. games they shouldn't influence the system. And last but not least, Samsung provides as well a migration path, from which I guess that the apps are kept.
But with all of this, I still do not understand, why a reboot into CWM is impossible resp. a restore not. How could Titanum influence that part of the system? Or are there some specific apps which shouldn't be restored? (My restore of Swype in CM9-nightly went well and was reusable - resp. didn't see much effects.) Are there more details about the risks? I curios, cause the generic attention-warnings are little bit toooo generic....

I've been wondering the same thing.. What I did was deleting all backups after flashin cm9(paranoidandroid) then I backed up again only the apps that I manually installed on my new rom so that stock apps for example wouldn't be restored. Now I've restored these apps two times without any problems.
Might be lucky but please if someone here knows if my method is safe please reply!

I restored my apps with data using titanium, no problems. Just do not restore system apps.

[SCRIPT] DEBLOAT Script

Hello everyone,
Note FE comes with much more bloatware than most other phones, it has apps preinstalled that some of us probably will never use.
Some of those apps may even run at boot and consume RAM and CPU. For this purpose I made a small very effective script and that will remove huge amount of applications. This script works on de-odexed and odexed ROMs.
I created the script when Samsung released Nougat update for Galaxy phones and I use it all the time without any problems. This also support other Samsung galaxy phones running Marshmallow or Nougat. So we have ALL-IN-ONE solution for debloating.
* You can easily edit script and add character ' # ' to exclude certain APP from deleting *
Take care here. This debloat might affect apps on rooted devices. Do a backup first.
I've done this before on other phones but can't remember. I'm guessing you need to be rooted to do use this script ? Also you need to flash this is TWRP?

Not sure about root (I'm rooted anyway), but you need to flash it with TWRP. I fdound that uninstalling Chrome stopped some pf my apps. Disabling Chrome does not have this effect - which shows that Chrome (which I dislike) is active even when diaabled.
Also, uninstalling Samsung voice input will soft brick your device. But you can safely disable it: go figure.
Oreo update for this script?
Pie update?????

5+ rom for G800F that doesn't have apps installed in separate folders

Hello,
I came to the point 4.4 needs to be upgraded.
Is there any 5+ rom for G800F that doesn't have apps installed in separate folders?
Regards,
Alen
nobody?
background - why do i need it... titaniumbackup nandroid functionality does not work, preventing play store and play services update is impossible
OK... from lack of replies I suppose there isn't any rom with such properties newer than KK.
So, I would like to ask you how do you deal with selective restores from nandroid backup?
Also, how do you prevent Google Play and Google Play Services being updated automatically?
What's the problem with separated folders for apps, may I ask? It's how it works from Android 5.0 and above, all ROMs...
If you sign the app with test-key it won't update, but I've never used it with a Google app to see it there are side effects... There is a free app that can do it (replace the original key to a test one).
the main problem is, as i already mentioned, titanium backup, that detects only data in twrp nandroid backup. also, inability to prevent automatic updates by creating "fake" folders.
what do you have in mind for resigning? zipsigner? never thought of that, but might be a dirty workaround. probably the attempt to update will still happen and fail. also, when decided to update the procedure will be more complicated. hoping there are no side effect. will try and report.
Yes, the app I mentioned is ZipSigner, I've used it with ES File Explorer for keeping and old adware free version...
As for TiB, it's weird... Probably they need to update the app, since Android 5.0 that apss are stored in folders... Or you can use another backup utility, ES File Explorer for instance can save apps and their data (needs root of course).
resigning does not work... play store stops working by saying "authentication required. you need to sign into your google account."
you got me wrong about titanium backup. it otherwise works, it just does not detect apps in nandroid backups - it shows only data. important here is nandroid backup. i'm quite surprised they forgot about this aspect since 5 already.
and btw... deducing from the thread about preventing update with "fake" folder... it seems some stock 5+ roms still install apps in an old way - it depends on package installer.

MiUI Notes exporting

Hello people at XDA, after I have researched about installing Custom ROMs and Rooting my Mi 9T Pro a few weeks ago I finally turned into DotOS as my daily driver and it's a really well made Custom ROM, but that's not the main subject here, I had to wipe all my data to change to another ROM (which I knew before doing so) and start from scratch for some stuff except media, what's my problem is that I lost 400+ quotes and many other notes in Mi Notes and I couldn't restore them in the custom ROM even though I had a MiUI Backup for it, I'm here to know if I can get my notes back any way possible like converting the notes into text/html so that I can import it into another Note taking app, and I also restored the Backup on another phone but there were less than 400+ quotes (305 to be exact) and Idk what happened to the rest even though I'm sure I backed them up when there were 420 quotes.
Thank you for reading and hope you help me with this issue.

You could install MIUI Notes from apkmirror.com, but don't know how could you restore data
MIUI provides Mi Cloud for easy back-up and restore (there is also Mi Mover to transfer from one phone to another), but people who switch from stock to custom ROMs usually don't care about MIUI, their apps, services, etc

I would do that but I can't actually restore the backup hence it's a .bak file that can only be restored in Xiaomi Backup settings and AOSP ROMs don't have that except Google backup, I searched for every possible way but couldn't find anything to solve it or even convert it into another file type to import it in another app.

I think that .bak format is a well known format for Android device not just Xiaomi ones, you can use ADB BACKUP with a PC to backup the app notes only with his data and right after restore it using the same way, he will keep the data and the app.
