Themes / Apps / Mods [CLOSED] build now system to rom - Redmi 9 Power / 9T

Hello everyone!
I made a script here to package the current system into a firmware that will be recognized and run by twrp or orangefox.
What is build_now_system?
It can help you package the currently running system into a zip archive that can be recovered and executed by a third party.
It saves you the step of image conversion and reduces the burden of finding tools, it's already built in.
It can automatically generate the flashing scripts required by each image
Although it is not flashing according to the standard, it also has its own unique set of flashing specifications.
You don't have to care how it works, you just need to provide error logs and problems.
Its running log is stored in /sdcard/build_now_system.log by default, it will not be cleared unless you delete it manually
What conditions are required to run it?
Just need your device to be rooted.
But ideally you also need to meet the following:
1. Have root privileges
2. Has a third-party recovery mode
3. Sufficient space (about 30GB)
4. Have at least 30% power

Hello world !!!
I've created a project of a new kind : The RecoverX Project
The goal of this project is to gather ALL the recoveries for ALL android devices in ONE tool which install them on the devices. RecoverX is coded in C++ thanks to QtSDK and allow to install a recovery on more than 150 different devices !!!
You just have to select your device and the recovery, click "Install" and RecoverX does the rest !!! It's that simple
This program require different prerequesties, depending of your device
- Wether you need an unlocked bootloader to flash the recovery partition (and fastboot drivers on your PC)
- Wether you need root access and usb debugging activated (if busybox is not installed, RecoverX will ask you the permission to install it).
This program have been published on XDA News : Here
Here is the list of supported devices :
Finally, a small preview
Awesome !!! Where is the download link ???
Here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773227
So how does this handle the different partition layouts?
I am curious myself...
This tool has been posted in numerous threads for different devices. I don't have my laptop a few days. Does nobody have any feedback on weather this was successful?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Go to the principal thread (link in the OP) and read comments
I searched his original thread there is no mention about devices having different partition layout. I don't think the OP realizes that we have two different partition layouts for the Dell Streak 7.
I'm working on it.
This thread has been closed as it is a clone of the original which is against xda rules (spam).

NON ROOT: CPU Binning [Nexus 5]

Hello Guys just today i found out a very easy method to check your CPU's bin without rooting your phone.
I know there must be some other method else where. But this one is new and I only found it out today.
So here it goes:
1. Download and Install X-plore File manager (Its free) from here
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Now open it , you will see two directories /sdcard and /root and now go to /root( Just enter the directory it will not ask for any root access):
3. Now navigate to the folder d-> /sys/Kernel/debug .
4. After that inside the folder u will find a folder named acpuclk, open that folder.
5.Now there you will find a file named pvs_bin, open that file and select open as text.
In there you will find a number. This is your CPU bin.
In my case its 1.
So post your PVS here.
why have another thread to post your binning? post your bin number in the thread that we have been using for this very reason http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515593
and yes, you dont need root to find out your bin number, there are other apps that do this as well.
Thx a lot, was looking for non root method. PVS4 here.
I agree with @simms22 please use the thread which already exists for this topic, plus looks like all the images in this thread are broken.

Install apps over ADB
Install apks on any Android device running any Android version over ADB!
Hi all,
From a long time i was fiddling around with a problem of installing/downloading apps after installing a new ROM.
Thus i came up with an idea of a Batch File to install all of your apks from your system
to your phone in a few tips and taps. Hah! Found my solution .
How does it look?
To see some screenshots, please click below.
Tested on
The script had been tested on a couple of androinds but should work on any android device.
Downloads
Google Drive - Here is the link to Drive.
Link Below - You can also find the file below.
Installation instructions
Prerequisites
1. Platform Tools for Windows (ADB),
2. APK files,
3. Target phone connected to PC and
4. A cup of COFFEE or TEA as you like it.
Process
1. Download it from the attachments below or from the drive link above or here.
2. Copy the file to the ADB folder.
3. Execute the file.
4. You can either place your apps in "D:\Apps" folder. (Sllloooowwwww.....)
ORChange the folder location in batch file itself. (Requires some Coding Skills)
ORBatch file will ask you to change the location, if required. (Easy Installation, Pick Me!)
Troubleshooting
I don't think it's needed. But even then if you get any problem do write. I'll be happy to resolve it.
Enjoy, and also don't forget to write anything (Good, Bad or Thanks etc.)!

Recover the blur effect on MIUI 12.0.X

About a week ago I was investigating in the XDA forums the solution to the gray background of MIUI in its CC.
I successfully managed to find this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-miui12-bring-back-blur-to-miui-12.4235677/
I am new to this platform.
One of the people helped to send the MiuiSystemUI.apk file already patched, the problem is that it cannot be replaced in the destination folder.
Does someone with knowledge share the necessary files so that more users are happy with that characteristic blur of MIUI ..?
Credits to the people of that thread. Greetings
Hi @Thel_Vadam, I asked myself the same question about this, and I'm glad to tell you that I've finally found an answer!
Firstly, forget everything about this thread which aims to rebuild a modded version of SystemUI!
I tried by creating a custom Magisk module, and I only got problems: App launcher keeps crashing, notification and control center not working, etc...
This method consists of changing a system value which will make your SystemUI believing you're on a Xiaomi device that officially supports control center blur effect.
Requirements :
‌The free and open source app SetEdit
No pending operations on your phone, because we'll need to restart it at the end of this tutorial
5 minutes of your time (not that much in an entire life)‌
Firstly, you'll need to LAUNCH the SetEdit app you just downloaded
As you can see, you have the ability to change a lot of system value without root access!
Search for a specific value in the field at the top of the screen : deviceLevelList
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(you should have value "v:1,c:1,g:1")
Change this variable with this value: v:1,c:3,g:3
Save, and finally restart your phone!
Wahoooo! Your phone now has a blurred control center
