* Reverted back to NuPlayer as it was causing issues in facebook and other things
* Cherry-pick a more correct bluetooth fix by Steve (cyanogen) so bluetooth *might* be fixed while still using NuPlayer now but I say might as I don't have a BT device to test right now
* Any Upstream changes at time of compile..
Jan-1, 2015
** Happy New Year **
* AudioFX works correctly now
* Enabled the "Low Latency Playback Primary" audio flag which seems to fix that random annoying buzzing that comes out of the speaker randomly when you unlock your device
* Major cleanup of the RIL code. Removed all the obsolete code, also removed a "hack" we all had to use when lollipop came out as a correct fix has been merged upstream

* Re-Enabled Performance profiles/menu (although CPU settings are not there yet)
* Speed up boot by booting with "performance" profile and switching to balanced or user selected after boot is completed
* Enabled "Proximity Wake" Support although I don't know how to use it nor if it works.
* Fixed Bluetooth music playback underrun (stutter) issues by switching back to awesome playber in favor of NuPlayer. This will be revisited at a later date.
* Might be because I did a full wipe but the 3-dot overflow button for menu is back in Chrome
* Upstream: Feature to change illumination duration for the hardware keys has been added
* Any other upstream changes between the last release and time of compile
Dec 21
* Android 5.0.2 r1

* Any changes in the past nightlies will be in this also any upstream changes at the time of compile.
Dec 14
* Cherry-picked a few changes to possibly fix the bluetooth bugs (I really think this will sort itself out as there are over 100 commits on gerrit related to audio/bluetooth/av playback waiting to be merged
* Switched A2DP output sampling rate to 48Htz has this is the default now
* Any upstream changes at time of compile (like battery percentage)
Dec 12
* Updated configuration for network services per other devices
* Fixed issue with CDMA devices where it would not find their APN or display carrier on lock screen. This should also fix some SMS/MMS issues on CDMA carriers.
* Cherry-picked a possible fix to the bluetooth manager crashing issue.
* Any other CM updates at time of build
** CDMA devices are compiling... If your device's build is not in the build archive simply check back later..
Dec 7
* Fixed the WiFi issue from previous build
* Volume wake added
* Adaptive brightness added
* Custom font size added
* Audio improvements
* Any other updates by CM
** As always this is a staggered release. klte first then the rest. If you don't see a build for your device check back in an hour
Dec 5
* Android 5.0.1
* Home wake was officially merged
* Updated bluetooth permissions to match other similar devices to try and narrow down the BT freezing issue

* Weather info/conditions on notification panel (cherry-picked from CM gerrit)
* Browser drawables updated to "material design" (cherry-picked from CM gerrit)
* Any other upstream CM updates at the time of compile
** As always this is a staggered release. klte first then the rest. I will update the links as time permits. Sometimes the builds "may" be on the server before I update the link. Thats why if you notice I have added a "Build archive" link next to each direct build link. that will take you directly to the release folder for that device type...Sometimes there may be a slight delay between when they are available on the site and I update the links...
Dec 1 - Build9
* After this build i'm gonna stop giving them numbers and just go by date....
* Added Home button wake
Nov 30 - Build8
* Fixed bootloops on some devices by mounting /efs and /persist later in boot sequence

* Some minor GPS HAL updates (mainly for AGPS status)
* Enabled large memory heap for Trebuchet
* Updated Adreno Drivers to those from the 5.0 leak. These seem to fix the camera FC issue with dark shots. Also Google Camera seems a lot more stable... CM camera will get there...
* Enabled all the FFmpeg codecs
* Upstream: Fixed Dialer FC when you hang up before the other person answers
Nov 26 - Build7
* SMS FC fixed
* Other upstream updates
* FFmpeg has been added by CM team (re-added)
* Played around with wifi services to try and get Tethering working (no success here)
** NOTE: This is a staggered release... klte is first...then spr then usc.. i still have to do dv. I need to work out a better system for releasing so i can just release all 3 builds at once. I hate manual uploading... so as soon as the build is done its on the server and it seems some people like to check the server every 5 mins : so the cat always gets out of the bag before i post the links and then people are confused. So for now i'll just do it this way..
Nov 25 - Build6
* CDMA Support!!!! - initially only for kltespr but klteusc will be rolling out in the coming hours
* A few new(old) cm features like Double tap status bar to sleep
* Any other upstream changes by CM
Nov 24 - Build5
**** All my fixes have been merged by CM team. We are now using 100% STOCK CM SOURCE ****
* Updated NFC configs to conform with lollypop changes. Should help battery life
* Set Long-Press on HOME key to launch search assistant (google now)
* Add missing DivX DRM lib
* Cleanup Camera HAL code (camera starts faster)
* Updated audio_policy.conf to conform with lollypop standards (Just cleans up the log)
* Enabled Multiple user support
* Some more video playback fixes from upstream
* Updated media_codecs.xml to match others
Nov 21 - Build4
** NOTE ** : Today marks my parents 26th wedding anniversary make their day with a donation so I can take them out to dinner. I'm disabled and make $733 a month from the government... pffft
* Updated widevine drm libs to lollypop. This fixes video playback with Play Movies and TV and possibly FB and others.
* Trebuchet was merged (although the apk is still under the name of Launcher3) if you do a long press on your home screen you will see all the new settings come up
* Got to stop using some hacks in frameworks/av and a hack for mpdecision. So thats always nice
* Any other upstream changes..
Nov-20 - Build 3
* Was doing some cleanup and realized one of our adreno lib files was from an older release version. So fixed that up.
* More work on video playback
* Superuser got an icon!
* A lot of under-the-hood upstream frameworks changes. Probably nothing the end user will notice but they/we are gearing up in prep of adding all the old CM features back in...
** NOTE: i'll try and get it on the MIRROR ASAP... it will be under the klte/dev folder
Nov-19
* FLAC Audio and other audio formats besides MP3 should play now.
* Downloads App doesnt crash anymore
* Probably others i'm tired....

This is the NightOwl LineageOS 13.0 Android 6.0.1 20171029-Fixed built from source for the Galaxy Note 1 GT-N7000/GT-N7000B
This Rom is developed to provide you an as close as possible experience of LineageOS 13.0 on the GT-N7000 without modifying the stock LineageOS look and feel
The LineageOS13 20171029-Fixed is tested and running stable for all day use.
The most functions are working but there still can be some minor bugs!
Code:
Use my Roms only if you are sure about the risks of flashing custom Roms/Kernel to your device. I'm not responsible for any damage caused by using one of my files.
NOTE:
Because of the ART runtime in Android 5/6 all Apps will need more space. If you want to install more Apps you should think about repartitioning your internal storage. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642299
You can also find a repartition howto in the Howto Install section.

If you have installed any webview versions/updates from the playstore or as apk please uninstall it to use the webview version from the fix.
How to Install:
If you are running a custom Kitkat or Lollipop Rom:
1. Copy Rom + Google Apps to your sdcard.
2. Boot into recovery
3. Factory Reset + Format the /system partition
4. Flash the Rom and Gapps.
5. Reboot
The steps to install it from an stock samsung rom are:
If you have already an samsung 4.1.x running you can skip step 1
1.flash N7000ZSLR1_N7000OZSLR1_BRI (or any other other 4.1.2) stock rom using odin
2.Copy Rom + Google Apps to your sdcard.
3.flash PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120702299) to get cwm recovery by using odin or mobile odin
4. boot into recovery
5. flash this kernel https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95887005526788121 to get an updated cwm recovery
(this step will make your old rom unbootable stuck in the n7000 screen but you can boot into recovery with press and hold "home" and "volume+" buttons and power on your phone)
6. you need to reboot! your device now to recovery
7. you are now in the updated recovery and you need to do a factory reset (and to go sure you should also format the /system partition)
8. you can now install the rom and gapps and reboot your device
Howto Repartition your device and install this Rom:
Savin Vasudevan has written all the needed steps to repartition your device to add more space for installing Apps
(Please replace the files in Step 16 with the newest ones from this Post for cm13/android6)
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B9I1tLEDTBGPMk1obkd3VGpqWGc
Lanchon has made a tool to make it also possible to repartition your device in the recovery after you have installed the rom without loosing your data
https://github.com/Lanchon/REPIT
Here you can find 2 example zip file for the n7000 and some instructions how to use it with NightOwl
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66341193&postcount=2071
Updating If you are running an earlier NightOwl LineageOS13/cm13 version:
1. Copy Rom to your sdcard.
2. Boot into recovery
3. Flash the Rom (you dont need to reflash the gapps if you update from an earlier nightowl version)
4. Wipe dalvik-cache and format the /cache partition (This will not delete your apps or data)
5. Reboot
How to enable root:
1. Go to Settings-About phone and tip 7 times on Build number to enable the Developer options
2. Go to Settings-Developer options-Root access and set it to Apps and ADB
3. (Optional) Install supersu from the playstore (because some apps have problems with the stock root implementation)
3.1 Open supersu and let it update the su binary (choose normal)
The official (systemless) supersu recovery versions will not work
If you want to flash supersu in the recovery you can use this modified versions

İf ril fix on next alpha. İ will start use.
I have some problems, No SIM Card - No Service and Unfortunately, Music has stopped !
Ok @bauner, i have tested alpha
First impression - animations are really smooth and almost everything is working.
There are few lags, but that is normal at this stage of development.
Hd video playback is not working, but hd recording works good
And one thing which is not working on cm12.1 is working on 13 - flashlight during screen off.
There were also problems at startup with setting google account.

Another thing is that screen recording is currently working...
But to get everything working fine on android 6 it will need much more work as I thought first...
thank you sir.
Wow, what a timing. Recenlty, my NightOwl CM12 (20151030) started to reboot at random moment. Probably something I did, but I wanted to do a clean install anyway. Might as well get the bleeding edge and grab this one. Thanks!

- The name of the ROM is historical really
- My first ROM was for the Kindle HDX - called HDX Nexus ROM and was AOSP based.
Love how this tablet is getting so much love friend gave me 2 of them to do some magic any screenshots possible to see what we have? I might flash it on second one later. I hope it's on 5.0.1 so I can use TWRP. Also will SuperSu 2.6.6 beta be ok?

New ROM... I'm currently happy with your cm12.1... Does cm12. 1 have more free space than this AOSP ROM?
Thanks!

Dang, so you have to maintain the fire phone Rom, the cm Rom and now this, among other things. You must have a lot of work to do by yourself. On a side note this works pretty well.

- You can build aosp with the cm-12.1 + minor mods
- The problems you are having are the large amount of changes required to the actual android rom stack to make it boot for MTK.
- I had to make changes to a large number of the modules/projects to enable it to work correctly

Thanks for the info. I was starting to believe that was the case from what I found online.
Do cm-mod based ROMs already include these changes?

Clean flashed this pup w/GAaps Nano and Xposed Framework. Disabled journaling for giggles & grins. Using integrated root manager. Connected and booted up w/o a hitch. Far to early for definitive statements but every operation I have attempted during the past 30 min (mostly set-up stuff, installing apps, configuring Xposed modules, multiple reboots) has gone without a hitch. Hoping to find time for detail testing this weekend. While partial to AOSP ROMs I do find Lineage to be an attractive offering with a nice suite of UI enhancements baked in.

So far while setting it up, Settings crashed just once opening Home but hasn't crashed again. Sadly, automatic LiveDisplay does not work here as well (didn't work in the past October CM build I had), you have to manually toggle it. I just finished setting everything up. The rest is working like a stable build so far. Will let you know if something happens down the line.
What I did:
- Clean flashed thru TWRP
- Flashed the kernel modules, micro OpenGApps, Xposed & V4A
- Cleared journaling from /data & /cache
- Turned off KSM and set up the I/O Sched and governor with Kernel Adiutor
- Slimmed up the ROM and the GApps (current TWRP unable to run AROMA)
I did the
Fresh installation from FireOS or other ROM FlashFire >= 0.57 coming from CM12.1
During the flashing, there were errors of couldn't unmount system, resource busy and things like that.
Now my tablet is stuck on the amazon logo. ;(

I guess i had the same error about two weeks ago while going from cm to RR. If you can access stock recovery you need to sideload the original fireos version your tab was running before you installed a costum Rom. There is a tuturial here on xda, can't look for the link right now.

Couple thoughts:
- inability of LiveDisplay to switch automatically is common to most CM/LOS 12.1 builds, especially on devices that lack a physical GPS or do not utilize Google Location Services in 'High Accuracy' mode; seems the function uses location vs the clock to to determine on/off times
- custom kernel modules are not demonstrated to work with this ROM although there is absolutely no reason to believe there will be any conflicts

Another hour of configuration/use did not surface any gremlins. I am always surprised how snappy this device can be under the right conditions given modest specs. Hardware definately likes the deadline scheduler augmented with a 5 sec write delay. Tweaking animation scales under developer options also has a nice effect. Lineage hummed through all that and more without glitching.
Other notes: WiFi connects/disconnects reliably. ROM sleeps as it should with minimal idle drain. Rotation fast and reliable. Bluetooth uneventful.
This weekend I will push a little harder on various apps that sometimes upset the applecart. Given experiences to date not expecting any issues.

LiveDisplay, as I have come to understand requires modification to the kernel. So will be a no-go unless we find a vulnerability to exploit.

Gotcha. Minor stuff but do you remember that old image distortion whenever you turned off the screen? It's been a long while since I had a ROM with that and it's rearing its head again sometimes here.

Even with a kernel mod auto behavior may still be erratic without the benefit of full location services if numerous user reports are accurate. Apparently goes beyond simply obtaining sunset/rise info for current location as most phones secure the proper time/zone via network.

Yes, I remember that screen issue, will be fixed in the next release.

I forgot to tell you that it looks like the SDcard fix is not implemented. Several apps gave me trouble, including Titanium Backup (for write purposes) until I applied the SDcard Fix. I have all my backups in my microSD card.
