Xiaomi Mi 5 no wifi

Someone can help me?
I bought one Mi 5 64 GB and I can't enable the wifi.
I could enable the wifi when I start, then I updated the firmware to the one available and after this I can't enable the wifi anymore.
I tried to reset the phone to the factory settings and nothing.
Really really annoying.

Bootloader Unlock Discussion

This thread is dedicated for the any and all discussion related to bootloader unlock process and experience on Redmi 6 Pro
Where did you buy the phone from(country!)? Were you able to unlock in the first attempt? If not, what is your waiting time as shown by Mi unlock?

There is a poll attached too. You won't be able to view it in Tapatalk or Xda app. Use chrome or other browser. Vote only if you have tried to unlock the bootloader and not otherwise, so that we get a clear picture of bootloader unlock times.

Too much wait. I couldn't unlock it yet but I'm waiting cause I need to install Xiaomi.eu ROM

720 hours waiting for unlocking bootloader......?

does it have antirollback?

tried it with 3 of mi miui accounts, first one 720 hors second one same, and 3rd one was instantly so i could unlock it at the same days as it arrived

How old were each of these accounts? Was there anything special about the third account or was it just random luck!

Nope not for the stable ROM it comes installed with. that is MIUI 9.6.4.0
edit.- my mistake i checked the fastboot version and it has antirollback enabled .. with a #2

hi all,
I just unlocked my 6pro..it was delivered on 14th sept so not quite 720hrs..it was showing 720hrs when i first tried to unlock..
just to let u guys know..u can have a go..

I am tired of unlocking booloader of redmi pro 6. First it showed 720 hrs then after 15 days it showing again 720 hrs with same account. I have created 3 acc. But all showing same.
Can anybody share old xiaomi accont pls that would be a great help for people like me.

I requested it some days ago, I hope I could get it unlock as soon as the 643 hours end because it seems that Xiaomi doesn't want bootloader unlocking.

That is why I am selly my Moto z droid Verizon because I can't unlock the bootloader and if Xiaomi continue with it then their selling is going to fall down.

can anyone gives us the mi account details with which we can unlock instantly my account is asking to try after 720 hours can anyone please help about unlocking

I've read somewhere that it can be done with an account that wasn't used for at least a month.

it is not working this time my old account also updated to 720 hours from530 hours

I want to turn on find device but it shows error i want to unlock my bootloader for that i have to turn on find my device option please help and is it possible to unlock your bootloader without on find device option

Yes its certainly possible..i unlocked all my phones without Turning on the find device option..just add the account and enable oem unlocking..

But i succeed to turn on find device option
For that i deleted my mi account and created a new one with same phone number

First time i tried to unlocking bootloader on 3 november it shows 720 hours wait and than i tried today it shows 624 hours so definitely hours is decreasing but i have one doubt in my mind whenever i go to mi unlock settings for check drivers it shows connect again and computer is showing all drivers are installed so can anyone tell me is it possible that my bootloader is not unlocking beacuese of driver problem

Enable OEM unlock un-greyed

Hi guys, just want to let you know that the latest update EMUI 9.0.0.171(C636E10R1P17) has un-greyed and able to TURN ON on Enable OEM unlock.
Lets hope the best from the volunteered dev to find root solution and custom ROMS for our Mate 20!

You'll still need oem unlock code to unlock the bootloader tho.

Still need to spend money, so if you have some and wanna try, just do it.

M20 is already rootable.
Following bootloader code services are available:
1. Global Unlocking solutions (22$)
2. Ministryofsolutions (30€)
3. FunkyHuawei (55$ - worst deal.)

Mate 20 WIFI problem
Hello friends,
I bought a Mate 20 few days back. Everything is fine except:
1- phone heats up very quick and that too with immense heat with just over 30 minutes of OUBG mobile (but I can deal with it)
2: WiFi problem. This is my main concern. I keep losing my wifi connection on this Mate 20 but not on my Mate 9. Is it a common problem with many Mate 20 users or is it just me?
I have a very good broadband with 1gbit speed. It's awesome and I play right netx to my wifi modem. But I keep losing connection every now and then.
Please advise and help. Thank you.

I don't have the problems you're saying you have. Might be a problem with your unit. Should try getting it repaired or changed for another one.

Thank you. This net problem has been solved coz I have changed my networking pattern from normal wifi to wps. And now I am getting very good and stable speed. Thank you once again.
In love with Mate 20.its an awesome handset.

next thing i knew i got no reception (no signal/ services)
i seem the rom i flash is the wrong one.. i tried a lot rom but none of them works

Yup i tried switching to global ... one thing im sure my model was change to Lm-v405UB and the S/N is gone after i Cross flah it...

i also tried flash using refurbish and dl partition seeting... still ... no signal

Hi guys I really need someone to help me, I have mi 9 on MIUI Global 12.0.5 I have rooted the phone but I have no play protect and I can't do some important stuff for me, like i can;t access my bank card apps ,netflix ,revolut and some others also I am in L3 because in the past I fked up and flashed a wrong persist file or sthing , at SafetyNet Appi everything is red ,is there any way I can fix these things ? I am really frustrated and I can't find how to fix these things please help !
