Accessories USB-C to 3.5mm Jack adapter - Motorola Edge 20 Pro

Hi Everyone. I'm looking for a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter for Motorola EDGE 20 PRO. There is so many different adapters and I got no idea which one will gonna work with this smartphone. Thanks

I don't like Apple lol but that's all they had when I went so I got it... Or it was recommended.
Yet, while it worked ok for my OnePlus 7T and my Toyota Tacoma it really worked perfectly with my Chevrolet Malibu. Why the discrepancy I don't know but the only difference was the vehicle stock stereo in each vehicle. Not sure if that helps and really not sure if it matters which brand. I've posted my results on the similar OnePlus forum here and no response also.
Please follow up with your choice and results of you wouldn't mind. Thanks.
Edit:
Sounds like both Google and Samsung offer this adapter also and Reddit (I know where all the experts go to Reddit...lol) seems to offer various opinions... But I'm still interested in this outcome cause my kids claimed my Apple adapter and now I need a replacement adapter.... But getting a quantified answer seems impossible!!!
After some reading it seems like the Apple adapter while it works out seems that their are some complaints of it being of a lower volume than others....

thanks, They told me that every adapter that got a DAC built in should work fine. Now I'm searching for DAC Hi-Res one...

Excellent, I'm glad I was able to help you there.

I'm using this adapter for few years and its working with edge 20 pro very well. For me most important thing was power delivery, because I'm using in my car.

I bought the Tempotec Sonata HD Pro and it sounds amazing (it has an amplifier builtin). It should be able to power any IEM and efficient headphone. I also have the Samsung dongle, and even though the sound quality is acceptable, the volume is too low (same issue as the Apple dongle).
If you have a high impedance headphone, consider investing in a professional DAC.

Thanks to everyone for your answers. I bought a Creative Sound Blaster Play! 4.

Connecting it with the Pioneer SE-CH9T earphones sounds perfect. I am shocked!

Are there any of these really existing?
Have a look at Sony Ericsson Xperia X10's earphones. I think Sony's earphones are better than Motorola's.
yup
Sure there is a earphones.
I'm using the Ultimate (UE) SF4Vi w/ my Milestone.

I just use my iPhone headphones. Seem to work fine.

There are a variety of aftermarket headphones available with mics these days. I can't attest to the quality, but know that both Samsung and Skull Candy offer models that you should be able to find in any electronics store.
get a philips bluetooth headset, it's great.
Sent from my Milestone using Tapatalk
I'm using skull candy holua headphones. the earbuds are all wood, multiple sized rubber inserts and also foam inserts for comfort, in line mic, button to stop and start music, they sound awesome.
I don't recommend Skullcandy, because the sound quality is subpar at best. Better off getting Ultimate Ears Metro-Fi's or Klipsch Image S4i.
question is whether your earbuds will outdo your phone or not.
I have the Super Fi 5 Pros and the Triple Fi 10 Pros and I have to say those are all overkill for a Milestone. LOL.
But still, they are both nice as they accept Ultimate Ears' vi cables which adds a mic.
Yeah the Milestone might not have good sound quality anyway, but still it's nice to have good quality buds. I've heard the TF10's and they are quite amazing, on par with the Sennheiser IE8 and Shure SE530, in my opinion.
Google "Sentry HM300". $5 bucks at Big Lots, and fairly cheap elsewhere. Sound is crisp, with a bit of punch at the low-end, and thus far have been pretty durable. The mic has a start/stop/answer switch. The colored portions you see are actually metal, and they look nice, too. I've been very pleasantly surprised.
And if you misplace them or accidentally jerk them or something, you won't have that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach that comes with a $80-200 pair of earbuds.

...not if you amp the Milestone I only wish that the Milestone had a line-out cable like the iPhone LOD.
I tried out a work colleagues skullcandy buds he other day which had a mic and were noise cancelling. The noise canelling effect in particular was impressive for the price.
You can buy any iPhone compatible earphones. The only one with in-line mic and answer button. Not the control talk models (with volume up and down) because it got some problems with our phones. Pay attention for Samsung and Nokia compatible because they don't work: GND and Mic contacs are swapped on them (like OMTP standards and our Milestone is not OMTP compatible).
I got a pair of Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket with in-line mic and it's not so bad. I've got also the Atomic Floyd HiDefDrum + Microphone and these are much better, best earphones ever had. Really comfortable and the sound is great!!! Little expensive (to be sincere) but sound is wonderful.
Be really carefull if you search for the Monster Beats Tour or others made by Monster because there's some fake chinese models clone that really look like originals. You can find more information about this on the web or ask me for more if you need
Bose mobile... expensive, a little overkill on the base, but fantastic sound quality! Go to Amazon or NewEgg... don't buy anything @ Veri$on store. They want double price for a 32g microSDHC, and about $30 extra for the Bose earbuds!

Headphones! which to buy?

Hello, I have HTC HD2 with Android MIUI on board. And I wanted to get new headphones, because the only headphones, that i have alive, are my old Phillips (5 years)
So can someone help me ?
1. i need them to be in-ear
2. they have to work with my phone
3. they must have flat wire
4. them must have L-shaped plug
I found only 2 headphones, that are OK with me, but i never head about 1 of them.
What i found: Beats Tour and a-Jays, but Beats don't have L-shaped plug, so i am sure, that they will die after month of using.
a-Jays have several versions, from one to four.Four was designed to fit iPhone, but it has all i need, so will it work with my HTC HD2?
Here are a-Jays four:

I'd try to find answers at : headfi.org . But don't forget to bring back your conclusions about your pick !
Get the aJays, I'm getting myself one soon.
Although they hinted that the headphones will work with the HD2 along with the buttons, they weren't direct. Here is their reply:
>Dear Faris,
Sorry for the lateness of our reply, it is vacation time in Sweden.
The product is design specifically for Apple’s own products and that is what we recommend you use it for. However, whilst some of the features (like answer calls / pause and play music etc.) might work with other devices, we have decided not to market it in this way.
Hope it answer your question.
Kind regards,

Hello,
I'm contacting you regarding your product, a-JAYS Four. It says it was designed to fit and work with the iPhone, iPod and the iPad. Could it work with other phones like the HTC HD2 ?
And How will the buttons be functioning?
Thanks in advance.
looking forward to hearing from you.

Can I buy anywhere BOSE on a good price?
Hands down the Astro A*Stars. These are what I use on a daily basis, they're built for gaming, and work well on my PS3 as well (with their amplifier it does amazing surround sound), but they really pump on the HD2. I should note that I get my best performance from MIUI Music as well (I switch ROMs frequently), even though I love CM7, the MIUI music player (or try Uber Music) is noticeably clearer with these headphones and a few other I've tried. The in-line controls work well for play/pause on any ROM, volume controls are excellent, and I have literally stood in front of a fan and used them to make phone calls with total clarity. The mic is wind-shielded. My only wish for the product would be a skip button as well.

The lowest price on a BOSE headset is $80 at Sam's Club. Check this link out
http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod2090595&pid=CSE_Froogle&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=sku2017636
i got my in-ears from deal-extreme, they come for $1.80 so even if they break its no big deal..
Quality really isnt bad at all.
I have the Shure SE 215. For me they are really perfect and sound awesome.
But it depends on what kind of music you like. Do you want much bass or is the clarity important.
On head-fi.org forum you can get some really good advice for in-ear monitors. They helped me to.

good quality headset for defy

hi guys... sorry for making another topic.... seriously i m screwed up... i decided to buy sound magic mp 21 but i couldnt find any online stores in india...
so i decided to leave it .... please find any other good quality headset(with mic)....
budget ~ 1k INR
I'd recommend you to head over to head-fi.org and check there for headphones for iPod/iPhone. People around here say that they work on Defy too.
Maybe after you find a model, you can go check it in a showroom or order it from an online shop to which you can easily return them.
Cheers!

u don't need it to wear it like that. they are not built for that. if you want, then try the m6p.
i tried it now and the phones are uncomfortable, and the mic is to close to the ear. the m9p should be use cable down. eod.
there are enough reviews on the net, and everyone is exact.
for example: http://www.head-fi.org/t/474164/meelectronics-m9p-extended-impressions-pseudo-review-56k-warning
use hs u350 headphone set from htc
this is 2 piece handsfree, use the microphone cable and any earphone u like, it wrks fine. i already posted this in the accessory section, costed me 10 pounds, worth it
"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381672"
i just got m9p... quality is just ok(not bad/not very good)
the best feature is mic is near to mouth.... u will not need to keep the mic to ur mouth with ur hand to speak to others in any situations....
I highly recommend the beats by Dr Dre

[request] Bluetooth Wireless with Noise Cancellation

Hi
I am planning on buying Bluetooth Stereo Ear Phones for my mobile.
I checked many sites but couldnt find products to my needs
My main considerations are :
1. Low cost ( $100)
2. In-Ear (ear Plugs)
3. Noise Cancellation
4. MultiPoint connect ( connect 2 devices at a time)
Does any one know any product with these 4 features ?
I thought of 'PLANTRONICS BBTGO2-BLK W BACKBEAT GO 2' or 'SONY MW600' or 'SONY MW1'
But none of them have Noise Cancellation.
I already have
Plantronics Backbeat 903+ , but i didnt like the confort, the noise cancellation is good.
So i am searching for IN-EAR plugs.
Kindly let me know.
THank you

i am using sony mw600 with my note 2, the best part of it its noise cancellation. While ridding my bike i use it and clip it to shirt's collar. believe me while talking to some one while speeding even at 60kmpr, it delivers great quality of sound at the other end......so if u want to buy a bluetooth headset with good noise cancellation, i highly recommend mw600...
My first preference was MW600. But it does not have noise cancellation.

Question bluetooth sound quality and distance -- on the verge to purchase

What exactly do you want to know?
The Bluetooth range is completely normal (possibly above average).
It does not consume as much battery on the Samsung compared to my former Oneplus 8t.
Sound quality is very good with Samsung.
If you root your Samsung device you have the possibility to install Viper4Android and get the maximum sound quality.
Dolby Atmos is ok, but I personally do not use it, because V4A.
Otherwise, it also depends on what a sound codec your output device offers, so you can also again get out some quality.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly if there are differences in the Samsung S23, S23+, S23 Ultra.
I hope I could help you further.
@Ramme
Thanks for describing your experiences with the s23
regarding the battery capacity and the claimed 8 hours on-screen time . Does it stick in real life ? are you satisfied with the battery time, compared to your oneplus ?
I ask because I´ve had oneplus 5T and 7 myself, and the battery time was fine.
The "only" samsung I´ve owned previously, was a s21 and a flip3 , and they where terrible at holding power.
I am very happy with the battery life for the 3850 mAh capacity. I had BatteryGuru on my device until recently, actually removed it 4 days ago. Otherwise I could have shown you all the data. The screen-on time is highly dependent on whether you play games or use your device normally, i.e. making calls, navigation, social media.
I get realistically on average about 1 - 2 days with a battery charge. However, I do not play games at all.
What I like very much about Samsung is the battery life when the device is just lying around and not used, there is almost no percentage of battery loss.
Spoiler: AKKU

You won't go wrong and you will be satisfied.
I first had the S23 Ultra, where I found that the battery life was not good and it is very Unhandy. Then I gave it up in the first 2 weeks and bought the S23. I do not regret it.
And my Oneplus 8t and 5t have left for custom ROMs tests.
@Ramme
”funny” regarding the ultra , as it has a much bigger battery.
I can see why this was your first choice , also because of the faster charging.
Again, very nice to know, that ultra is only superior on paper.
At least regarding the battery size and management .
