Question For MIUI 13, where is the folder that stores the video wallpapers - Xiaomi Mi 11

Back when I was still using a Mi 9 phone, I figured out a way to quickly populate a list of video wallpapers that I can use: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/animated-wallpaper-for-miui-11.4063667/
The method worked also for Mi 11.... until MIUI 13. Now it seems the Themes app no longer recognizes the files in /sdcard/MIUI/.videowallpaper/ ...
Although I can still add my .mp4's one by one into Themes to be used, it is much less convenient. Does anyone know the name of the folder where the video wallpapers are stored, so I can just directly copy my wallpaper .mp4's into it like before?
Thank you !

For static wallpapers:
Storage\Android\data\com.android.thememanager\files\MIUI\.wallpaper
For live wallpapers:
Storage\Android\data\com.android.thememanager\files\MIUI\.videowallpaper

Thank you !!

Can we use .swf (flash) wallpapers on our I9000 ?

Hello all- Does anyone know if there is a way we can use flash (.swf) wallpapers on our homescreen on the I9000 ?
I do not mean the lockscreen but the next screen (I use no lock anyway).
If we can use live wallpapers such as WP clock which tell time, I imagine there must be a conversion tool which can convert .swf files into whichever file live wallpapers are ??
Does anyone know ?
I do have some amazing flash wallpapers which contain some gorgeous clocks and it's a shame if we cant use them on this great mobile.
Cheers, LL-
Not so sure....
Trying to open a swf file, I get a pop-up telling that "File type swf not found"
highly doubt so, live wallpaper is an .apk, it's an application itself, natively Android doesn't support .swf file as live wallpaper, unless some developer out there manage to capture the swf, convert it and create a new .apk on the fly within the mobile, but I didn't see such an application so far.
OK Cheers for that guys.
I managed to open an .swf file in "my files" and it shows up but the clock portion of the wallpaper does not keep time, just a mish mash of lines instead of the time itself.
Cheers again, LL13-

3D Gallery from cooliris stock android

If you haven't played with the flan/froyo 3D gallery before it's way better than the HTC gallery... it's easy to install, download the apk to your sd card and use a filemanager to install
I found mine here:
http://androidalot.com/applications/nexus-one-gallery-3d-on-your-htc-desire/
I'm having a little trouble with it though, some applications will bypass it and use the stock HTC gallery anyway, I can't get my system to use it for all photo/video browsing/selection like choosing a wallpaper. The reason I started looking for it again was because any folders you create in sd/DCIM/ become a photo album and I wanted to keep my wallpapers and lockscreens seperate from my normal photos and still be able to view them from within the gallery.
Edit:
here's an xda thread with the apk's, above link still has a good video so i'm leaving it

[Q] Looking for 2 Apps

Hi, I'm looking for an app to set any .swf file as a wallpaper on my xperia x8 if it's possible ?? as even w910 and many other old phones could set .swf flashlite files as wallpapers and screensaver ....
and
Is there any voicemail app for android phones ? which will auto record the message of incoming call (voice) so later you can hear it ?
Thanks
Swf files are moving images, right? So it's like a live wallpaper, but from what I've learned, Android isn't programmed to apply a swf as a wallpaper. So you must make a live wallpaper to resemble that swf file.
Android is just programmed in a different way.

and how to convert swf files into live wallpapers ?
Two applications
Games
vedio calling
I don't care about flash games, I have made some custom flash animations of 320x480 of my names and etc.
You can't just convert. You need to build it from scratch in Java.

Unable to set memories

Google with recent Google photos have provided the option to set memories as bg image. However, i am unable to find live wallpapers in wallpapers section.
I downloaded and installed pixel live wallpapers but don't see the Google photos memories option. Anyone able to do it successfully?

yes I'm encountering the same issue also it seems to have happened on the most recent December pixel update for Google The Google photos update a couple days ago added the function and I was utilizing it but as of this morning it's not even available to pick to use I just don't understand why they can't just make the photo frame option like it they do for all the other devices like smart TVs and nest hub work the same for wallpaper on a phone

[Android 12 S20FE4G] .nomedia files ignored by MediaStore / Gallery (on SD card?)

Until now, I always had a .nomedia file in the root of download location for album covers to keep my Gallery app experience clean, as 1000 covers do not exactly belong among my photo stream. Used to work from Android 9/10 to 11.
Since the update from Android 11 to 12 (now on the very latest January version), .nomedia files are completely ineffective. All locations in my file system that I have "hidden" using .nomedia have their images appear in the Gallery app.
Is there something specific to Android 12 I'm missing, or is anybody else seeing strange behaviour like this relating to .nomedia? Could it relate to SD card shenannigans (which I have encrypted)?
My device: S20FE4G aka SM-G780G aka build SP1A.210812.016.G780GGXXS3BVA5.
if you won't break anything for the apps you use you could try making system folders instead.
i.e. changing a folder from pictures to .pictures
