How To Guide Way to unbrick device in EDL - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Hi, I probably found the way to flash ROM if device in edl without auth account:
Download latest MiFlash and fastboot rom
Unzip rom and go to /images folder
Choose prog_ufs_firehose_sdm7150.elf
Copy it to MiFlash folder
Go to EDL and type in cmd on PC in Mi Flash directory command attached as picture.
Wait until "OKAY" appears
After this reconnect phone in EDL and start flashing ROM INSTANTLY!!!

sorry what is edl?

EDL or Emergency DownLoad Mode
What is EDL Mode and How to Boot your Qualcomm Android Device into it
Android phones and tablets equipped with Qualcomm chipset contain a special boot mode which could be used force-flash firmware files for the purpose of unbricking or restoring the stock ROM.

Your instructions say to copy "prog_ufs_firehose_sdm7150.elf" but the image refers to "prog_emmc_firehose_sdm7150.elf" (sdm vs. emmc). Is this correct? Or which should it be?

It's the same. It depends from Miui version (I took that file from 12.5)

well if this true this guy needs a major award and this post needs a lot more attention as we would finally have a way to unbrick this device for free. Let also take the opportunity to wish all the people in telegram to go to hell for taking money to use their auth account to do it for other people (yes I DO believe it should be free for all)
Did anyone successfully try this on a bricked device?

It definitely worked in 2019. I don't if it works right now (really hope so)

if it worked in 2019 then it can have chance to still work, with the same software setup / rom. But this device did not exist in 2019....
would you mind posting exact setup details, so that it can be verified by others?
which version of miflash, which rom (did you flash a rom for redmi note 10 pro with it?)
this needs to be verified, but I have no bricked device around, and dont want to try it just for fun with running device.

MiFlash 2018
It worked for lavender (Redmi Note 7) when it was in EDL
I used latest MiFlash to flash Redmi Note 10 Pro fastboot Miui 12.5

so you used mi flash to flash a rn10p device, which was not in bricked state, only?
but you didnt try it in bricked stage?
edit: I mean HARDBRICK, screenoff /EDL loop. not fastboot

Yes

ah well, then you basically just flashed via fastboot, no real unbrick.

Does it work?

That can't work unless he speciefies each single step and which exact file he used. EDL has an authetication scheme and if you don't have an authorized account then it won't work.

Hard bricked Mi 8

Hello,
I have hard bricked my Mi 8 doing that :
1. install TWRP 3.2.1 (successfull)
2. backup of original phone setup (everything was checked)
3. trying to flash xiaomi.eu MIUI 10 (latest realease)
4. booting (unsuccessfull, not bootloop but after MI android logo doesn't boot up)
5. so i decided to restore my backup (just data unchecked)
6. press reboot (and it didn't reboot)
The actual situation :
When i try to press the power button the phone doesn't boot, If i try to go into recovery mode it doesn't boot and same for fastboot mode.
The screen is unresponsive (no backlight) and it doesn't vibrate. When i connect the phone to my computer it is automatically recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) which correspond to the EDL mode (i think).
I tried :
1. miflash (using 2 different fastboot china dev rom found on the XDA recovery post for mi 8) --> the mi 8 is automatically recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) without using deepflash cable or pressing any button and I got an error : "ERROR: Only nop and sig tag can be recevied before authentication."
EDIT : I updated my Miflash tool and now i have to connect to my Mi account BUT i have to be EDL authorized by Xiaomi to flash repair my phone
2. deepflash cable (but it changes nothing)
3. mi flash pro : it open miflashtool
4. mi pc suite : nothing
I don't understand why it is bricked considering i just restored a working setup but it the most hard brick i have ever seen.
If someone can help me or suggest an option i'll give it a try and keep you updated.
EDIT : i understand now , it is due to the Anti-Rollback system that xiaomi implemented in their rom (we can't downgrade) + the necessity to have an EDL authorized account
Thanks you
PS : i can post MiFlash log if it can help
And with mi pcsuite?

Didn't try it but i was thinking this software wasn't updated since 2015. I just see right now that the 3.2 beta is released and Mi 8 is supported.
Thanks for that, i'll give it a try tomorrow as i can't do this that night.
I'll keep you updated.

My initial ROM was the vendor rom (Mi global store on aliexpress) and i think it is a fake "official global rom" on MIUI 9.5 so a modified chinese rom.
The xiaomi.eu ROM was the MIUI 10 8.7.26 for Mi 8.
Before every flash (or restoration) of ROM I format DATA, CACHE and DALVIK.
btw i didn't format data, cache and dalvik after the restoration. I just press the reboot option of TWRP and it never booted again.
Omg. I'm afraid. My mi8 came with global 9.5 china (in facto it's chinese version) and i've put MIUI 10 beta 8.7.12. In 1 week I'll be able to unlock it and put global rom (my language is portuguese). But after reading this, i'm not motivated. Sad. Hope you'll can fix It. Crossed fingers here!

Yeah it is weird... that's the first time i see such a problem on an android (and Xiaomi device).
Actually you can flash TWRP (I suggest v3.2.1) without any problem but backup/restore didn't worked for me and flash xiaomi.eu didn't worked (but it didn't bricked my mi 8).
EDIT : I have some "news" but i'm not sure about that. I think there is something about the anti-rollback system : as i flashed MIUI 10 and restored back to MIUI 9.5 (downgrade) it activated the ARB system and hard bricked my phone (maybe).
I checked others forum and a guy named MyReghalia on en.miui.com forums have EXACTLY the same problem as me and he didn't figured it out with that problem.
BTW maybe with an EDL authorized account i'll be able to flash via Miflash but find someone who has an authorized EDL Mi account to borrow or EDL authorize my account is an other problem....
Did u flash the right recovery.img on the mi8?if so what partitions u restore?faulty recovery?....is weird i have never see ql9008 mode unless the recovery is broken and restore an partiton in the wrong slot

Yep, i flashed the v3.2.1 -0611- for Mi 8 availible on the XDA forums. It worked and i had access to the custom recovery.
When I backuped/restored I checked all the options availible and didn't touch anything about partitions. Maybe it is a faulty recovery but actually i have some clues because, IMO also it is weird that my device is automatically recognized as ql9008 mode. (BTW it seems to be a well known problem on redmi note 5/pro)
I checked on diverse forums and there is the ARB (Anti-RollBack system) that xiaomi put inside their rom and doesn't allow to downgrade android version or miui firmware unless a brick occurs. The only way I found to get back my phone is to contact xiaomi repair services and asked them to repair my phone because they have authorized EDL mi account (it is something pretty new, before we had acces to flash in EDL mode without account, now it is regulated by xiaomi....)

Thanks you but actually i don't need to do the test point method because my phone is already and automatically in EDL emergency mode.
BTW it is the good way to do it but unfortunately i don't have any EDL auth account...
With everything i read on different forums i'm pretty sure that rom development will be extremely difficult until a way is found to get around this ARB system and EDL authorization account that doesn't allow to repair our bricked xiaomi phone.
Very bad they ask for an account even with emergency EDL repairs.
Hello, my mi8 I have it more than a month ago and came with the Chinese ROM, then update from the phone to MIUI 10 Chinese beta, then using Miflash to rom.eu MIUI 10 and then again through Miflash to the last global 9.5.14.0 and I have not had any problem PPR what I think At least in my case that Xiaomi has not activated the Antirollback in the Mi8, forgive my English, greetings

Ahhh I forgot, before doing all that had unlocked the bottloader through Miunloock and the last ROM that had flashed the global I forgot to unmark that blocked the device and the phone was in Bootloop, so I went back to unlock the bootloader and Ripped smoothly

There are only 2 ways to bring back to life the MI8 with brick
1.-Xiaomi Authorized Account (Miflash)
2.-Latest version of China stable in my case I need the 9.5.14.0 and there is only the 9.5.11.0 for Flash by Mipcsuite 3.0 China
(Mipcsuite 3.0 Chinese version allows flash with blocked bootloader)

I have the same issue before and I got the solution form miuieu forum.
After installing miui 10 from miuieu, you need to format data. Then bring up to home screen successfully.
Hi ,
Actually the only way to get back a hard-bricked Mi8 ( no fastboot , no recovery) is through MiflashTool with an EDL authorized account , there isn't any way to do this because MiPcsuite doesn't recognize an hard bricked device.
By the way it seems that this problem is not well known on XDA forum I strongely invite you to speak about that on these forums (BE AWARE) and to take a look at xiaomi forum, where it seems a bigger problem than here (a LOT of people, from India , China and everywhere around the world are in the same boat...).
The problem begun with the note 5/pro (you will find more about that on this device's forums)
Also, i returned back my Mi8 because of the xiaomi's politics about the liberty to self repair (software) our phone and i get to oneplus which allows us to do whatever we want...
Good Luck and peace

Miflash only works on an unlocked bootloader. It appears that you have a Chinese Model and you just did what was supposed to be avoided. You should get accustomed to Miflash moving forward. Never use Flash_All_Lock while cross flashing China/Global roms. You'll have to wait to unlock your Bootloader now and post that flash the China rom to get back. If any time you wish to move to the India rom, either use a twrp recovery or just use Flash_All while using the fastboot image which should eventually avoid locking the bootloader

1. if you can still enter fastboot mode, there is a possibility that you can do TWRP flashing again (the TWRP version must be correct so that the data on the cellphone can be read properly) / Flashing from the PC (if you are lucky, the flashing will work properly without any problem or you can bypass the bootloader locked using software or something else). [make sure ROM version must be appropriate because this is very crucial]
2. You can try using the test point method (EDL / Emergency Download Mode) [This method is usually used if your K20Pro is constrained by Hardbrick due to ARB4] , but this method requires you to open the case / body behind your K20Pro. and I cannot guarantee that the flashing process will succeed easily because in some cases if the K20Pro is detected damage / error due to ARB4, then you are required to have an Authorized Mi Account. I might be able to help you remotely, if you agree with the risks & requirements in the flashing process (I can lend my account, but it's not free).
Hi All, I did the same thing - whoever build the UI for MiFlash should be shot - why default that selection to something that will be undesirable!!?
Anyway, i tried to flash indian rom and forgot to set to Clean All, it locked the bootloader.
So i now have redmi recovery and Fastboot options only on phone.
Have tried fastboot + miflash but all options (now with Chinese rom) - says Erase Boot Error.
Tried MiAssistant + Mi PC Suite - it is not detecting the phone in either MiAssistant recovery mode nor Fastboot mode. what is weird is the phone and connector animation on phone is correctly depicting when it is plugged in/unplugged. But the PC suite isnt detecting the device.
Soft bricked - *sigh.... any help will be greatly appreciated from the community
BTW i am more worried that the phone will run out of battery and never wake up once battery drains completely as it is in bootloop into Redmi recovery and can't be turned off (someone tell me how!?) - I don't see the phone respond to charging in any state... : (
Can you still reach fastboot? If so you can unlock phone again and flash TWRP using ADB. After that boot straight into TWRP and connect it to your computer, internal SD storage should then automatically mount. Drag and drop ROM .zip into internal storage, use TWRP file manager to move it out of the data folder and do a default wipe using TWRP. Then flash .zip ROM (for example xiaomi.eu stable) and you should be back in business. Please let me know if you need any files like working recovery image and further instructions.
I had some trouble with my TWRP recovery yesterday, flashed it on unlocked bootloader with Chinese stable ROM installed, on reboot out of fastboot it boots straight into ROM and overwrites the TWRP recovery with default recovery. I fixed it by flashing recovery again, boot straight into it and flash xiaomi.eu stable, now recovery is TWRP and does not get overwritten.

Some great ideas - Just tried to unlock bootloader - This device came pre-unlocked so the device is tied to the seller's account.

My comment was meant for OP but I hoped it would help you as well! I am personally not well informed about the Xiaomi / Redmi ownership situation when the seller unlocked the phone.. maybe you can contact them and get a corresponding password to the account, it has been the solution I have seen offered here. Maybe the emergency flash solution from Robbo.5000 works?
I just got this phone a week now and was only able to unlock and flash yesterday, I was aware of the ownership problem thanks to this forum so I bought the sealed CN version. Hope you figure it out!
Thanks guys. I am going for the Test Point solution - have made contact with the Russian tech the others did and made an appointment. I just have to pretend to be Jerry Rig before then and open her up! Fingers crossed!

MI 9 Bricked After trying to change CN rom to Global rom.

Hi Guys, I hope someone of you could help me out.
Recently a Chinese friend of mine gave me an MI 9 as a present. But unfortunately they ROM of the new phone was the CN version.
I found a way to change the ROM by doing the unlock bootloader and flashing TRWP, after that, I downloaded the MI9_Global_V9.5.30_vendor_fw_flash, went back to the Recovery and wiped the "Delvik, cache, SYSTEM and Data. When I was trying to install the rom I got an error telling me the Global rom file was corrupt and restarted the cellphone.
The problem is I am stuck in the Fastboot loop, can't access the recovery and my computer don't recognize the cellphone.
I know I ****ed it up, I was wondering if I can revert that or did I just lost a phone.
Thank you Guys.

Hi,
How did you unlock your bootloader?
It asks for binding Mi account and it's not possible when your phone is bricked.
Yeah, the rule is simple. If it boots into fastboot, it can be recovered. Just flash the global you want with the MI flash tool and the fastboot file.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMkDAxiDdKs&t=10s
Here’s something VERY important before you flash or update the ROM.
1. Xiaomi Phones manufactured for Chinese market are not able to run MIUI Global ROM.
2. Xiaomi Phones manufactured for Global markets are not able to run MIUI China ROM.
We highly recommend you to buy Xiaomi Phones via official or authorized sales channels and double check the system information before flashing or updating.

Guys I am too stupid for this,
I flashed the fastboot global rom in my phone with MI flash but locked it in the end (can't believe I am that retard), now I believed I have bricked it for good.
Now I can't flash the correct fastboot ROM with miflash because I have locked the bootloader while trying to flash the Global ROM. I am at the fastboot loop again.
Can I do something now or I just have a expensive paper holder?
Thank you guys.

Hi guy,
Same thing happened to me, I felt very stupid, but it was on a MI 8 SE.
According to my experience, only there's a way to solve it and it's booting on EDL mode.
You'll need an authorized Mi account to flash the original ROM.
There's a complete guide on c . mi . com named [Guide] [All in One] MIUI Flashing Guide: Unbrick, EDL Method / Locked Bootloader, Unlock Bootloader, More, I can't post the url because I'm a new user
Best wishes!

How were you able to get the authorized MI account? In the tutorial you mentioned, they didn't say anything about MI Account.
I'll try MItool first and let you guys know.
Thank you for the tip

It should work, try to get the chinese rom back, unlock it again, flash twrp, give xiaomi.eu rom a try, they should work on any xiaomi phone regardless of region.

I can't use MITOOL because the USB DEBUGGING isn't enabled, is there a way to do it in the fastboot loop?
Thank you
It should recongnize with no problems.. Just check if you have the ADB drivers and try unlocking the bootloader and then flashing the Rom with the miflash tool. Still, if you have access to fastboot, things should be fine! Don't panic hahha

Read carefully and report
1. Try to hold down the buttons vol down and power, see if : fastboot devices sees it. If so XiaoMi Tool will restore it. If not do the same try recovery vol up + power. Do adb devices and see if anything shows up. Worst case you'll have to open the phone up and connect the EDL pins together and it will flash anything. I use minimal ADB and Fastboot phone plugged via USB cable into the computer and run those commands.
2. Fully bricks their device here is the unbrick factory method
https://c.mi.com/thread-1479882-1-0.html
that's connecting EDL pins with the phone case removed for a phone that doesn't boot at all
3. https://youtu.be/8mW0JzKow7E
here's the exact EDL test point required on Mi9
if you can't boot or recognize the device at all via fastboot or ADB. If this doesn't work nothing will...
But it will work, that's what the factory does. Obviously the last resort.

[HELP] Mi6x HARD bricked?

Good day everybody
Straight to the point. I tried to flash a different rom, EU version of MI6X MIUI on my device and suddenly, at the reboot after the flash, the screen remained black.
Strange thing is that the device is still detected through usb on my pc, even on MiFlash its detected. But i cannot do anything, tried flashing a rom with Miflash but i get Catastrophic Error!
Please someone help me i dont want to change this phone!
Thank you so much!
Edit: after researching, i seem to be stuck in a useless EDL mode. My pc can detect the phone (Qualcomm 9008), but MiFlash cannot flash anything. The flash starts and based on the version of MiFlash im using gets stuck after a couple of seconds. for a different reason (Authentication on 2018 version, Send configure command on 2015 version) I dont understand. Please help

On MiFlash 2018 for example, i get the Not Authorized to Download error.
Maybe the fact that i tried to flash a global rom is the problem?
Try to install twrp , and flash hex kernel , and them flash EU rom, if is not possible , try to flash vía TEST POINT

that error is because of your ARB .. DOwnload the latest rom with highest ARB level ...like explained in the guide
if you have latest rom with highest ARB level but still get errors start trying all different versions of Miflash ..I tried three or four before I found one which worked ..

So i tried again with this release V10.3.6.0.PDCCNXM_20190816.0000.00_9.0_cn, with multiple different miflash builds, same error. Tried patching the rom and not. Nothing worked, same edl authentication problem.
I believe, pretty sure, this is the build that bricked the phone: xiaomi.eu_multi_MI6X_8.6.28_v10-8.1
Maybe it can help you understand better? Also, how do i determine which is the highest ARB build available?
Thank you so much for the help!

did this brick happen when you wanted to change from jasmine to wayne ?
the error you are getting is your phone was stuck in EDL too long ...if you wait for more than 10 seconds you get error ..
open your phone manually amd enter edl again with test point
change to Miflash amd flash but dont wait longer than few seconds
also try with QFIL ...sometimes it will work when Miflash has timeout error
and every error is different ..if you dont tell me the error i can not say ..if you bricked with the 8.1 rom you dont have bad situation .. low ARB ..or if you used conversion zip you wont have ARB and your problem is you are too long in Edl mode
try to enter fastboot by holding power and volume down for very long time ..
if it doesnt work your only way is test point ..im sure you dont want that problem but it is all
explain your errors better if you want success ...if you go to fastboot see if computer will listen to command
fastboot oem edl
try the flashing again .....

Ok so, ill retry explaining
I was on a CHINA Wayne MI6X originally, unlocked bootloader and TWRP. It was only updated through OTA and never flashed any custom rom before.
Then, i tried through TWRP to flash this build xiaomi.eu_multi_MI6X_8.6.28_v10-8.1, which is a EU rom, think it is A2 rom and the devices reboot to a black screen, EDL mode.
After, i tried flashing many different versions of WAYNE CHINA roms through different builds on MiFlash but none worked. MIUI 10, 11, even 9 but always get EDL AUTHENTICATION error.
So, CHINA to EU to EDL bricked phone.
Now, i tried rebooting to fastboot holding for a long time VOL- POWER button but adb doesnt see the phone, i think im still in EDL mode, because device managaer sees it as QUALCOMM 9008.
Also, now on MiFlash 2014 i get Error loading type library/DDL. (0x80029c4a: wait port ready to use 9)
Same on MiFlash 2015 and 2016.
On MiFlash 2018 i get EDL AUTHETICATION error.
Same o Miflash 2017.
Let me know if you understanded better, still, thank you again!

ok man i think you made a big mistake flashing that package because it locked your bootloader ( i think ) ....
if the computer can see your phone as qualcomm9008 it is in EDL mode
you can save your phone but the authentication error ..could be ARB or locked bootloader ..
but anyway your best and ONLY option now is to get android 10 .zip for Wayne ...latest update for MIUI .. then
follow the instructions in the unbricking thread i sent you ..unzip ..search for folder in MIFLASH ..
-download QFIL flasher ..install and run AT SAME TIME
- select the choose port manually option and leave window open
( so three windows open .. miflash ( ready ) ... QFIL with sekect port open )
- then connect your usb cable to computer ( not phlone )
- get a paperclip and open it and fold it in half to look lkke tweezers
- then on another phone or computer follow video on how to open phone and do test point ( you will hold the twi points of the paperclip on two points in the phone )
- while holding the pin on the points insert usb to phone with free hand
- look at the select port manually window of QFIL ...when you see a device appears here let go of pin ..
now say okay to close sekect port window so it closes ..
- on Miflash press " refresh " then "flash" QUICKLY ..dont wait longer than 10 sec
- it will start to flash
*to opem your phone you need a guitar pick to push between the screen and body ...also special screw driver ( buy on Amazon ) to remove screws you see in video ..
# the reason is your phone has been too long in EDL to flash anymore ..so if you cant exit and enter EDL withbuttons or fastboot you ONLY have one option and that is testpoint
#that is why i said it must in 10 sec after you enter EDL that you flash or you will just have more errors everytime
***then you must just continue to enter and exit tesrpoint using my technique until one copy of Miflash will finish without error .BUT KEEP IN MIND ..everytime you fail you need to start over bevause too much time passed since you were in EDL
******dont lose hope beause miflash will accept and flash the officiak rom ARB4 ... if you find the right miflash version amd start flashing before EDL timeout
good luck bro go watch testpoint video and search for a guitar pick and screwdriver

ok good work it is a good guide and it will help other people if they have trouble finding modified programmer files or connecting the phone and flashing quickly enough
here the difference was that i assumed but forgot to remind you to use the patched programmer files not to be rejecting but it was also included in the post of other XDA guy :good:

Question The current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed

Welp, first day of owning the OnePlus Ace and I've already bricked it lmao. Need some help in trying to unbrick it.
So last night I successfully rooted my device using magisk, but after experimenting I just decided to revert back to being unrooted, since I realised I didn't actually need many of the functions root allows. Derooted using Magisk, checked that it was unrooted, then went into fastboot mode to re-lock the bootloader. Did so, restarted and I was presented with the dreaded "The current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed" error screen and endless bootlooping. I cannot access fastboot mode or recovery mode with button combinations, tried holding Vol + and power, Vol - and power but no dice. I believe I ended up bricking because I forgot to flash the stock vbmeta.img before locking the bootloader.
I've made some progress in getting to the MediaTek Emergency Download Mode (which I believe is also either called BROM or Preloader) in order to flash a stock rom. I found out that holding down both Vol + and Vol - at boot will enable this emergency download mode for a few seconds, before going to the destroyed boot/recovery error screen. The issue is, while I've managed to get the phone detected by my computer in this state in COM5 as a 'MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM_V1632 (Android), none of the programs said to flash a stock rom will detect it. I've tried mtk_client, mtk bypass tool, SP Flash, even regular fastboot and adb tools, but none of them will detect the device, even though Windows does.
The only smart thing I did was refraining from transferring all of my files from my old phone to this one, so luckily I've got a phone to fall back on. Basically, until I find a fix, the Ace will have to stay in it's box makes me wish I never messed with root in the first place lmao. And because I imported the phone there's no warranty and no service centres for OnePlus in my country that can help.
Anyone have any ideas for how I can get the phone detected in these applications? Is it an issue of the SoC not being supported yet by these programs because it's relatively new? Are there any alternate ways to get to the fastboot menu? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Update: If someone would be able to extract a scatter file from their own OnePlus Ace too, I think that may help me
Sorry that you've ran into this, but thanks for confirming bootloader can be unlocked, and root is possible.
Getting the 10R over the Realme GT 2 (sad situation of bootloader unlock not possible). Hope you get an extract soon
Made some progress!
Got my hands on the Ace's firmware files, which included the scatter file. Redownloaded the newest 6.2 version of SP Flash Tool and loaded the scatter and auth files successfully. Clicked download, connected USB to phone while holding Vol + and Vol - and finally! Sp Flash Tool connected to the phone! However, now I've run into another problem: SP Flash Tool will show a red progress bar at the bottom saying 'Download DA', it will reach 100% quickly then throw me a very vague error simply saying 'error_msg'. And that's it. Tried unchecking different boxes, reinstalled drivers but it will always throw back this error.
Any ideas to figure out what the error is and fix it would be amazing
hello, im here to show support. My ace also bricked because i want to change from color os to oxygen. I used fastboot enhanced, might have missed a step and bricked. Mine also import, but the shop i bought offers 1 year warranty. Shop says have to wait for msm download tools to reflash or i have to pay $60 to send back to China because my own fault. Man, it is going to be a long wait for msm tools. haha

maybe this is because of the new chip and there is no support for bypassing it.I thought the method would work.also a tip-edit the scatter file, namely partition_name: super or system, changing the value is_download: false to is_download: true.hopefully help
And thank you for sharing the files
I too am stuck with Brick.
Is there a Bypass for the Demesity 8100 being developed?
This device is mostly Oppo, but there is no Oppo flash Tool?
There is very little information available.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not yet, the most promising option will be to wait for an MTK Auth Bypass utility to be developed for the Dimensity 8100 chipset. There might be active development on this front, so hopefully it will come soon.
The other option would be to find someone to do a remote flash, someone who has official Oppo/OnePlus flashing software and an account to use it. I believe I've found the official firmware to flash the phone in this state, however you need credentials to log in to it and access it. I think it will also specifically have to be Chinese credentials, as India login details may not allow you to flash a OnePlus Ace model. I tried to get someone over at (<Moderator Edit>: unallowed site name removed) to do a remote flash, and he couldn't because he had India credentials, but not Chinese credentials

Oh. I had OnePlus 7 previously, there were few ways to flash stock firmware. The common one was MSM Tool, other one was Fastboot enhance.
But few times I flashed stock firmware manually like payload dump payload.bin and flash partitions manually from fastboot. Maybe this could work.

I seem to have made fastboot inaccessible on my device, so I've been unable to use Fastboot enhance or utilise any ways to flash using fastboot
Damn!! I hope you find some way to fix your device. Good luck.

Hello. after unlocking the bootloader I have the message "Orange State. OS Not Being Verified Or Custom OS. Dismiss After 5 Seconds." but the system booted up. After uploading boot.img, the phone got stuck in bootloop. Unfortunately, the guide above did not help.

Yes. I can flash files in cmd and FastbootEnhance but in practice it looks like they were not saved.

So you are not able to boot right?
If not, you can try flashing the partitions manually from fastboot. (If you are willing to try I can provide the steps. This works for other OnePlus devices.)
