I did buy a Note from eBay and turns out it is the korean version SHV-E160S. It was prerooted too Asked seller about this and he told me to make it work in my region (Norway) and to change language.
It is running android 4.0.4 and it has 32 GB onboard storage.
I know that android 4.1.2 was released for SHV-E160S in 2013 after googling. But nothing found from Sammobile to dowload. Many korean sites that i don't understand.
Any one could give me a link to stock 4.1.2 ? Would be thankful.
Can I use mobile odin to update from 4.0 to 4.1? Or it will brick the device?

Can i flash stock rom from another region and from a different baseband which is factory unlocked and already running on marshmallow like asian firmware used in unlocked phones?
I want stock marshmallow of samsung in my unlocked tmobile s6 sm-g920t.
Because T-Mobile did not released marshmallow yet.
Is it possible to flash marshmallow firmware of factory unlocked device in my t-mobile galaxy s6?
T-Mobile USA just released theirs so I'd recommend to use that.

My Sprint Note 8 (SM-N950UZKASPR) won't update and is stuck on android 7.1.1. It's not rooted and the firmware has not been modified or changed.
There's a YouTube video titled 'How To Unbrand/Flash Official Oreo Latest Firmware on Galaxy S8/S8+/Note 8'.
This video shows you how to download unbranded firmware using SamFrim and flash it using Odin. The firmware I have ready to flash is this: -

OS: Oreo(Android 8.0.0)

The guy on the video clearly shows him unlocking his Note 8 ATT to unbranded SM-N950U1 firmware.
Do you think It would work with my Sprint Note 8 or would it not work with my device and brick it?
If it worked would it receive automatic updates OTA as they roll out or would I need to flash it again?

I got the official update to android 9
Hello, i got second device and it is Japan Version Model, i was updated to latest firmware and it stuck at One UI 2.1 and theres a lot of bloatware and i want to change firmware to other model like SM-N960U or else. My devices is snapdragon chipset. can i change firmware trough odin 3.14 or any other try this before and work? please help me, thanks
