Question Titanium Backup not working after MIUI 13.0.2.0 Update - Xiaomi 11T Pro

So after updating to Android 12, MIUI 13 on my Xiaomi 11T Pro , Titanium Backup won't even open. All other root apps work well, and safetynet is passed.
Any fix?

Remove the TB folder. Launch the app (will launch), then copy the folder back and refresh the apps' list in TB

huawei backup app

Hi does the Huawei backup app copy all your app data and settings when u use it? A bit like iTunes did a full system backup and encrypted the data or titanium? This was very handy for restoring banking apps. I only ask as whilst root is great - I really miss Google pay.
Cheers

No, unfortunately.
I've never used it, but Helium will backup and restore without root.
Edit: sorry, was thinking about the phone clone app from my old phone.
So I backed up using.both the backup app on the phone and hisense on the computer. Reflashed stock and relocked the bootloader. I then restored my apps from hisense and it's perfect. All my banking apps and Google authenticator work perfectly - no need to setup again.
Can confirm, Huawei Backup works fine and is the first non-root app, that restore apps and data. On other phones i test this Helium but it was ****, sorry.
Hi
I have problem to backup my P20 pro using Huawei Backup because when I try to connect to Hisuite .. it prompt out an error says "an app is obscuring a permission request"

Magisk & Titanium Backup

I've installed Magisk (latest version) on a brand new phone (Samsung Galaxy J4). It is just out of the box. All apps that need root are granted access. Also Titanium Backup! BUT when I start TB I get the error: Sorry, I could not acquire root privileges...
I'm lost here what to do to get TB running. Any help please?

Yes. It is granted root privileges in superuser.
Are you using the version from the play store or a pirated pro version

That I'm not sure of. I downloaded from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
IF you refer to TB it's legal from Playstore.

Give all rights to TB. Go to the settings of TB. Diagnostics settings. Check (System BusyBox) Restart TB. And TB will see the root!

Worked like a charm!! Many Thanks :victory:
Here is the improved version:
1. Select "Menu" on top right corner of Titanium Backup
2. In "General" catagory, select "Preferences"
3. In next menu, select "Troubleshooting settings"
4. Now select "Force System Busybox"
When you exit the menu, the titanium backup will start itself.

Hi,
I have the same problem with Titanium. When I start it, than I see for a short moment a little message that TB got root.
I think this message is from Magisk. But then follows a message screen from TB that it didn't get root.
In Magisk root is enabled for TB!
Rootchecker says that I have root. Other apps have root too. Only TB does not recognize the rooting.
Which informations do you need for help? Phone is Samsung J6+ with Android 8.1.0 ans Magisk 18.1
No Root with Titanium und Link2SD
Hi,
I have the same problem with Titanium and Link2SD. Both programms get root-rights from Magisk. Both are in the list of enabled apps. But these programms don't accept the root. First I thougt that this is a problem of Titanium. But now I think the problemmaker is Magisk. Magist gives "root", but not full correct. like SU does. Some programms accept it, some not.
Or just use Migrate, for app backups its far less buggy than horrible Titanium Backup
Got rid of that POS years ago after the dozenth time it failed to restore stuff, moved to MyBackup Pro and never looked back
But lately been using Migrate for a member here on XDA, solid work, cant rate it highly enough, and its Free: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-migrate-custom-rom-migration-tool-t3862763
Its what i advise people to use.....

No help? Ok - I gave up. Titanium Backup, Link2Sd and Magisk are not working properly together. I completely reset my phone and updated it to Android 9 (PIE). My first attempt with Magisk "bricked" my J6 after a few weeks. during a update of Magisk. And the new attempt with my new J6 + does not work properly. I'll wait a few months and hope that eventually there will be a working root solution for Galaxy J6+ with Android 9.
Hello friends, I have found the solution for me. Galaxy Tab-A with android 9 and MTK-6753 with android 10 + Magisk-v21.4 + Magisk_Manager_8.0.7 + Titanium Backup-Pro-v8.3.3.
The problem is neither Magisk nor Titanium, but Busybox: there are several versions of Busybox. Titanium cannot acquire root rights with busybox-for-android, neither free busybox nor busybox-installer-arm.bin or other versions. But it works fine with com.jrummy.busybox.installer.apk or stericson.busybox.apk (you may need to test both). So: open your busybox, uninstall it, reinstall another version, and test with Titanium Backup.
Good luck.

Question Debloating MIUI14 causes apps to freeze on open

Even if I freeze apps like Game center, apps on my phone freeze on opening screen. When I reboot apps work fine for some time but start to freeze on open again.
Anybody had some success removing bloatware on MIUI 14 Global?

How To Guide [removal] [Google wellbeing] manual remove wellbeing and other sys apks

Hi guys
If you don't like Google wellbeingapp like me, you can delete it.
For me on A12 it was enough to freeze it but in A13 it enables automatically, so it is necessary to remove it.
Root is mandatory
Deinstall the wellbeing app with titanium or alpha backup....
Take root file manager and delete product\priv-app\weelbeing preinstsll
BTW I've deactivated com.android.traceur.overlay.pixel
and looks like no harmful change and battery consumption seems to be overall better.
Which root file manager are you using?
And with stock miui rom?

Should work on all os
With stock miui isn't working for me.
Additional information
You can take the same procedure for all system apps in the folder. But carefully with backup, it it's possible to break the system
