Firmware for SOV37 (XZ2 AU) version 52.1.C.0.157? - Sony Xperia XZ2 Questions & Answers

I noticed that there's actually a newer firmware for SOV37 (https://www.au.com/information/notice_mobile/update/update-20200330-03/) than the one in XperiFirm.
I believe it's Android 10 update and you can only acquire it through the software update with the bootloader locked.
Does anyone here have it?

Help: Cannot update firmware with same CUST (C440)?

Good morning all,
I'm trying to update my P9 (EVA-L09 model) to a new software version using the Firmware Finder app.
My phone's current software version is EVA-L09C440B138.
The Firmware Finder app finds several newer software versions for C440; this includes B140, B142, B370 and B380. However, when I check installation availability with IMEI, the app says not available for installation - for any of the software.
Is there any known reason why updating to a new version with the same CUST (C440) is not working?
Thanks in advance
Nick
Anyone?
You can debrand you phone to C432.

The phone cannot get official OTA after change another region firmware

I have a Hongkong version H8296, and the phone is not boot unlocked.
I downloaded a France oreo 11.51 firmware from xpericheck.com and flashed my phone using newflasher.
The phone can work, but has two issues:
1. the oem unlocking option is grayed, but this option is enabled in my original Hongkong firmware;
2. I tried to get update to Pie by OTA, the firmware is downloaded, and installation is started, but failed at the end of first stage (there are 3 stages)
No further information was showed for this error.
Is this normal or are there some issues in the downloaded firmware?
Thank you very much.

Android Pie UK update on unlocked version now available

Just tried to manually download update and magically came through. Anyone else in UK on unlocked phone had this or is this old news? This is not the beta but over normal network update.

Downgrade ALE-L21C55 From Android 6.0 to 5.1

Hi, i have a huawei p8 lite ALE-L21C55 (Branded by TIM) ITALIAN PHONE
i need to unlock the bootloader so i need to downgrade from emui 4.0.3(Android 6.0) ti Emui 3.1(android 5.0.1)
The problem is because its branded by TIM(www.tim.it) it will not accept any FULL OTA firmware who is "No Brand"
The main problem i find B170 update only in OTA-MF(Partial Upgrade) and there isn't any FULL OTA firmware for B170 and lower.
Anyone can help me? REMEMBER. NO BRAND FIRMARE WILL CAUSE FLASH FAIL DUE TO CARRIER CUSTOMIZATION
I need after to root and get bootloader code
Thanks

Every few months samsung will update the bootloader along with the firmware. You can only downgrade to an older firmware so long as it has the same bootloader version as what you are currently running. Not possible to downgrade bootloader even with root unfortunately.

Is there a list of firmwares where you can see the bootloader version?

The bootloader version number is written in the firmware version. Go to sammobile and browse the firmwares for your phone model to compare.
Example:
The latest October firmware for my s10+ is G975FXXS9DTI8. The '9' before the DTI8 represents the bootloader.
Im currently on the September firmware which is G975FXXU8DTH7. The '8' before the DTH7 represents the bootloader.
So when I decide to update, there will be no going back.
Hope this helps
