Question What Magisk modules have you flashed/do you recommend? - OnePlus 10 Pro

What modules have you flashed? What modules do you recommend?
I´ve flashed Systemless Hosts, Universal GMS Doze and Universal SafetyNet Fix

Also magisk bootloop protector is fine.

Magisk Hide Props, GMS Doze, SafetyNet Fix, Systemless Hosts

Do you guys notice any improvement with the GMS Doze?

Any rboard sometimes just use Google board to load the themes.
I gotta recommend substratum and theme Liv Dark theme works great

Systemless hosts
Font Manager
Advanced Charging Controller
Safetynet Fix
Bootloop protector

Wait you have gms doze flashed ? What version are you running ? Because the latest gms doze who you can download doesn't work on on the 10 pro yet unless your testing it from the developer as far as I know I'm i the only one who is running gms doze who exactly works
And btw picture below are all my modules didn't want to type them

Systemless hosts
My center clock mod
Safety net fix.
Have you noticed that the downloads are missing from the new versions of Magisk?

AuroraServices - not working
BusyBox
Debloater (TE)
Energized Protection
FDroid PE
Magisk Bootloop Protection
Systemless Debloater
Systemless Hosts
Universal GSM Doze
Webview Manager - not working

Can you explain more as to what is not working.

How have you setup lsposed. If you are going to set restriction in xpl for all apps have you selected all apps in lsposed.
What app ops are you using as wasn't aware it an exposed module.

Wow thanks. Selecting all apps in LSposed worked.
Hi, I just had the same problem and found this thread and resolved the issue, thanks!
Question: Is there a way to default so that new apps are automatically selected when installed?

On LSposed no.
Any new app will have to be enabled in LSposed for xprivacylua to work.
I don't think that option will be included any time soon, if at all.

I think that's an important capablilty, otherwise things will leak on first run.
I tried installed Edxposed but get this issue please install riru from magisk manager
The comments on that issue say Edxposed is not longer supported ant to use LSPosed, Taichi or Dreamland instead. Does Taichi or Dreamland allow for new apps to default to be restricted?
Thanks again!

If you want to use Edxposed you will have to downgrade Rui core module ( in magisk ) to version under 25. I think the latest working version was 25.5.5 ( from memory ).
As for Taichi, Dreamland and other Xposed like frameworks i don't know never used them.
I have be using Xposed since the Jellybean ( android 4 ) and have only install rovo's version ( up to android 8 ), then started using Edxposed ( currently on now ). The only reason i'm not using Lsposed at the moment is laziness on my part because of the extra steps involved.
Note: not all modules will require every app in Lsposed to be activated it will depend on what the module does.
@spawnlives thank you!
I got Edxposed working with Riru 25.4.4 https://github.com/RikkaApps/Riru/releases/tag/v25.4.4

Depends on magisk version
I am using stable magisk with latest versions of riu and lsposed.
Lsposed with modules you have to select what apps to restrict.
Big thanks to @Fif_ for automatic selecting modules.
Edxpoesd has two modes but you have to downgrade riu module for it it work.
With regards to expricavylua working fine on stable magisk /latest versions of riu/lsposed on S9 running lineage 18.1 (A11).

As stated in post #8 EdXposed is also working with stable Magisk v23.0, but only using Riru 25.4.4 and lower. Advantage for me is that I don't have to add new apps to the scope like in Lsposed. Even with Fif's Automate flow, I would forget to reboot

Smali patcher alternative A12 support

An alternative way for Android 10 (Tested), Android 11 (Tested) & probs recently launched Android 12 (Not tested) If someone is using A12. Please do check. It should work.
1- Download & Install Riru from Magisk repository (Reboot)
2- Download & Install Riru - LSposed from Magisk repository (Reboot)
3- Download & install mockmocklocation app from xposed repos.
4- Switch on the mockmocklocation module inside LSposed app.
5- Switch on the module inside the LSposed app (Tick mark) for the app you want to spoof. For e.g Pokemon go or any app which you want to spoof.
6- Reboot.
This alternative way is basically for A12 however it's not tested but it should work. Try!
It's simple & easy. Until @fOmey doesn't update the patch for A12
Ok this works....just missing the steps to install magisk..make it pass safetynet..if anyone needs help message me

oh wow is there Magisk Alpha that still supports magisk hide in for android 12? please kindly help with it.

Riru does not work with Zygisk. HELP! I Need advice.

I have a magisk v24.3. I need a list of programs from Edexposed. To pass the Safetynet check, I enable the zygisk function, but when I enable this function, the Riru module immediately stops working.
So, if I use edexposed, I cannot pass Safetynet check (because zygisk is disabled), but if I pass Safetynet check, I cannot use Edexposed. What if I have to change the version of Magisk to solve this problem? If this is the only solution to this problem, what version of Magisk do you recommend?
p.s Again, my main concern is that Edexposed can work and I can pass the Safetynet check.

Why dont you use LSPosed instead? EdXposed is probably disontinued (although not announced officially, its practically dead), LSPosed is much more up-to-date and you can easily pass SafetyNet with it. It works bit differently than EdXposed, so you'd have to read wiki.
By the way, Zygisk isn't compatible with Riru because they work in a similar manner. Riru is deprecated, use Zygisk version of modules

Thanks for the feedback bro. I already tried LSposed but LSposed doesn't have the apps I need, for example I need Device ID Masker - it does the swapping of the device hardware (imei) and other parameters and it's a paid app. I also need RootCloak - it hides the root.
Do you think there is a good analogue for LSposed?

All modules that works on EdXposed will work on LSPosed too (or almost all) since its the same Xposed Framework, just implemented differently. And Xposed modules aren't limited by those present in the repository. You can download them from another source and install, then enable in the manager and use.
For example, you can download both of your modules from this sources:
Device ID Masker Lite | Xposed Module Repository
repo.xposed.info
RootCloak (with 5.x and 6.x support) | Xposed Module Repository
repo.xposed.info
And by the way - both of these modules seems to be outdated (especially RootCloack). As a replacement for the first one, you can use Android Faker (https://repo.xposed.info/module/com.android1500.androidfaker) - updated regularly. As for hiding root, right now there are much more reliable solutions than Xposed modules. But what you need, depends on what apps/tools you need to hide root from. You should take a look on this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/discussion-magisk-the-age-of-zygisk.4393877/
Depending on your usage, you may need Universal SafetyNet Fix module, Shamiko or just to use Enforce DenyList in Magisk settings. In rare situations, there is a need to hide apps with root access from other apps (like bank apps), and HideMyApplist Xposed module helps in that cases

Question What Magisk modules are you using?

Curious what my fellow rooted folk are using. Here is my list:
Pixel Launcher Mods Overlay
More launcher options.
Pixelify
Google Photos backup.
Note: Pixel 7 exclusive options (unblur, magic erase) seem to have disappeared for me after installing this.
Systemless Hosts
For AdAway ad blocking
Unversal SafetyNet Fix
To make banking apps work
Ironically bootloop protecting modules (Magisk Bootloop Protector & SystemUI Bootloop Saver) make both 7 and 7 Pro bootloop shortly after reboot so had to go.
Question: Why Pixelify? I thought that was for non-pixel phones?
Google Photos backup works perfectly for me with Google Photo.
I just saw that it enables unlimited backup. Never knew this was a thing.
I use the following Magisk-modules:
'Debloater' for removing YouTube and YT Music system-wide so I could install 'Vanced' properly.
'Hotello' / 'Project Themer' for system-wide theming.
'Systemless Hosts' for AdAway ad blocking.
'Universal SafetyNet Fix' for Google Pay, banking apps etc.
'Zygisk'. Not really a module I guess, since you enable it through the settings.
'JamesDPS'. Viper4Android alternative. Equalizer.
Here are my 'LSPosed' / 'Xposed' modules as well:
'Cast Enabler' so the volume buttons works for casting (Sonos etc).
'F*cking Internet Tile' splits up the internet-tile to WiFi and Data.
'GPS Setter' for spoofing (mock) your location.
'QuoteLockX' for quotes on the lockscreen.
'Themer' is the same as 'Hotello' / 'Project Themer' in Magisk.
'UpdateLocker' for locking my vanced versions of YT and YT Music to the newest working version of the apps.
Here's mine
AOSP Mods - to have many rom customizions
My personal custom system sounds - explains itself
Custom font module - explains itself
Pixel launcher mods overlay - for some pixel launcher customizations
rboard themes - rboard module for customizing gboard
substratum lite overlay helper - for theming with subs
Zygisk - LSposed - needed for LSposed

Its a module for LSPosed (The newest updated Xposed that works with Android 13).
It locks your chosen apps from being updated, so you can lock it to a certain version.
You download the old version from apkmirror, then you lock it to that version.
Then the Play Store can't update it.
If you got LSPosed, its already in the module-section (repository) there under 'Update Locker'.
Here is the link to the Update Locker-thread here in XDA.
I can use Bootloop and SystemUI Protector fine btw. 7Pro

How can I get unlimited google photos backup? and is it backed up in original quality?
Modules:
• Google Sans font module
• Substratum lite overlay helper - to hide the gesture bar and still keep the keyboard raise
• AOSPMods, but it was causing issues, so had to remove it
• Pixel Launcher Mods overlay
• And of course, displax safetynetfix
Apps with root access:
• Airfrozen - to freeze Magisk; some banking apps would otherwise detect Magisk
• AFWall+ - to disable wifi/mobile data for some apps
• Better Internet Tiles - to seprate wifi and mobile data tiles in QS panel
• Pixel Launcher Mods

I had it for almost a year with oneplus 8t/EvoX custom rom. No ban at all
I've already tried:
1 universal safetynet fix - didn't do the trick unfortunately - play store still recognizes phone as not certified. I guess we'll have to wait for an update.
2 magisk hide props - pixel 7 not supported yet.
Is there a module that enables unlocking phone without hitting enter after putting pin in?
