Question IR blaster apps and Xiaomi 12 Pro - Xiaomi 12 Pro

Hi to all.
I joined the forum to ask if any Xiaomi 12 Pro owner has any experience with the Anymote IR remote control app.
Is it working with the 12 Pro?
Maybe other IR apps? Although I'm asking for (the now discontinued) Anymote app because it's highly customisable and I made a lot of dedicated remote controls.
I'm between mi 11 and 12 Pro to buy one of these days because of the IR blaster. Otherwise I might go for a Samsung or other phone, if you tell me it's not working.
TIA

Unfortunately not a single Xiaomi device is supported. Source.
Also, the IR functionality of the Mi9 is overrated, you can only use applications with databases as you cannot
'teach' IR codes by using existing remotes.
Edit: I believe the Mi9 has an HDR10 display, and the Mi9T has an HDR display.

Actually, Netflix doesnt support HDR10 on Xiaomi Mi 9 (Source: https://c.mi.com/thread-2403039-1-0.html)
I don't have Mi9T/K2O Pro, but it seems it is not officially supported even there. (Source: https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/themes/netflix-fhd-k20-pro-t3964716)

I think you can actually create your own IR codes with third apps on the Play Store, I've found one that can do it, you can change frequency, hex codes etc..

Care to share how you get specific HEX codes if you can't use your device to read them from your remotes?
Because the databases some apps use aren't very helpful either, so no use extracting from there..
What is the app called?

Thanks, I'll look into it!
Edit: Seems like a nice app, but 10 euro's to remove ads is not worth tossing my remotes.

The app is called IR Remote Creator, and you can find HEX codes on some websites, some of them contains more codes than apps databases

Xiaomi is a Chinese company and more focused on its Chinese market. For the global version of the firmware they do not come out often, and innovations are introduced for a very long time or never at all. Xiaomi is constantly releasing more and more new smartphones and at some point will not be able to support them normaly. And now you can see it.
Have anyone success in streaming HD and HDR contents on Netflix for K20 pro?
Netflix stated on their site that the phone is supported but the app refused to believe that.
I'm on stock china miui 11 Android 10, bootloader Locked, no Root.

Can the Updated Camera Software for the Mi 9 Pro 5G Be Used With These Phones?

Xiaomi mentioned yesterday in their launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G that they worked extensively to rework the camera algorithms to improve the camera performance, and that phone has the same cameras as these phones. I wonder if we'll be able to get that updated camera app for this phone either as a direct update through our phones or if there's somewhere we can get it outside of that. I'd like to try it. Seems like it would work straight up. Any improvements are gladly welcomed.

We'll eventually get the update either on stable MIUI 11 or a patch later on!

SharkCooler.apk port for K20 pro

I bought the black shark 2 cooling case for redmi k20 pro.
In the instructions manual, the only app compatibility requirements are type c port and android 4.4+.
The apk was downloaded from the link-
toolbox (dot) blackshark (dot) com/download/
(I am not aware if sharing direct external links is allowed or not)
PLEASE HELP!!
Can someone make a port for the app for k20 pro?
Or just do something to get it to work!
Please help!
Do you know if I can use black shark left right controller with k20 pro. I know there is a k20 pro left single controller. But is it possible to use the black shark controller because it has both left right one. Will I be able to use the orginal case or any other special case to use it on k20 pro?
yes, the right controller works on the k20 pro.
I have not used it for playing games yet, but the touchpad and the buttons respond in controlling the phone.
Help

Dualshock 4 not working on PS4 remote play?

Thought Android 10 officially added support for ps4 dualshock 4 controller but seems miui 11 with Android 10 doesn't have this feature. Yesterday i connected my dualshock 4 and started ps4 remote play app. But i got the message that my device doesn't support dualshock 4. What a disappointment. Why does they have to remove this feature if it's added in Android 10.
Will they support it in future update? Where can i request for this feature?
I don't wanna unlock my bootloader and root my device yet as it will void my warranty here where i live.
Xiaomi 9T Pro DualShock 4 v2
Same issue here. "Device not supported" message.
Xiaomi 9T Pro 6GB / 128GB
Android 10 QKQ1.190825.002
MIUI Global 11.0.3 (Estable 11.0.3.0 QFKEUXM)
Any fix or update coming soon?
What about custom roms? Has anyone tried using ps4 controller in one of them?

Redmi Camera APK

Hey,
i've looked through the internet and haven't found it.
I use my Redmi Note 9 Pro with Lineage, and i'm super happy!
But i really miss the camera app from Xiaomi Redmi.
So i'm asking: Can anyone upload the apk of the original camera apk from xiaomi/redmi for the note 9?
Cause with all camera apks i use, they all use just one of my four cameras.
Thanks.
