Question How to add work profile using Microsoft Company Intune? - Xiaomi 12 Pro

I am trying to add my company's work profile using MS Company Intune app, but i am getting an error that I can't do it on this device.
This is very odd since the bootloader is still locked and the device is not rooted.
The app and work profile setup works fine on my K20 Pro and Galaxy A8 tab.

I have added my work profile using intune without any issues. Probably the error that you have encountered is because you have linked your work profile to many devices.

Currently I only have it setup on my old phone (K20 Pro).

Did a factory reset and this time i setup company intune work profile before anything else and it worked. Phew.

Hiding root from Outlook?

My job allows accessing our Outlook and Skype accounts on our phones, but the apps won't complete setup with rooted phones. I have the last Pure Nexus 7.1 on my Nexus 6, with the latest Magisk running and I believe Hide is in affect. But I can't get the apps to finish setup before getting the error. Any thoughts on how to hide root from Outlook and Skype?
In on mobile so search is hard but search for intune in these forums. There is a module that will help with Outlook/Microsoft intune detecting root

Huawei P40 Lite vs Microsoft Authenticator- Push notifications not working!

Hi!
I'm trying to setup MFA from Microsoft using their MS Authenticator app, on my Huawei P40 Lite. It isn't working and i get an error saying something about "push notifications registration failed". I guess this is related to the non existing Google Services, right?
When i got the smartphone (April 2020) i followed one of the multiple guides i found on YouTube to install Google Services and all seemed to work ok. I never got any errors/problems since. Also, i get notifications from "all" my usual apps - WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail app, etc.
Anyone has ideas? Is there anyway to "update" the Google Services installation "procedure", without reseting my Huawei P40 Lite?
Regards,
JP
If the App uses GMS or GCM (both google messaging) then it will most likely not work. I have the same Problem with my 3CX Client App aswell as VIP Access MFA

I really don't know if Microsoft Authenticator app uses GMS or GCM. I don't have the tech skills to say that. I just assumed so, because i can't get it to work on my Huawei P40 Lite (i get a push notifications registration error) but i can make it work on a Huawei P20 Lite (for example), using the same Microsoft accounts. This is BS! :crying:
Thanks for you help!
Microsoft Authenticator will never work on Huawei phones due to 2 things:
- Mandatory GCM for push notifications
- Google Services check in manifest that cannot be bypassed.
Never again will I buy a phone without booloader unlock.
if you have the google service installed and the notification push activated or you freeze the gfs to have the notification push it will work!

It's too much of a bet. It's very unfortunate as the hardware is extremely good, but really, even with adding the phone to the android custom rom exception listing, it's way too much of a hassle.
Checking back in a few years, but it's looking dark unless bootloader is unlocked and custom roms start getting in. I believe it will never happen in order to protect other chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi & Oppo.

Wear os probs

hi team I have my p40pro plus and have gms installed. I have a wear os watch and can't get it to add my Google acc on watch. Has anyone had this issue and is there a workaround ?
Sorry, no work around for the account but you can use the watch by pairing it up without the wipe. Do a search on XDA as I found a thread that tells you how to do it. I had mine working with all the apps loaded via my account from an earlier phone.

Question Issue with Microsoft Intune & Teams

Hey all! I have a problem with Microsoft Intune that is required by my company to access email and Teams on the device.
I was able to install Intune from the Play store and to register the device but then when I try to launch the work version of the Play store to install Teams nothing happens. I mean I click on the icon but the application does not start.
I have tried to download and install Teams from the normal (personal) Play store but when I try to log in I get a message to download and install Intune (which I have already done).
I have tried to repeat the procedure a couple of times removing and re-installing Intune and Teams but it is always the same.
I have also tried to factory reset the vivo and start from scratch but the result is the same.
Could anyone that has been able to install and use Teams and Intune chip in with their experience? anything specific that was done to get this working?
The vivo x fold is updated and not rooted (
thanks in advance!

I installed Teams from the playstore and Intune and both are working without any issues. First Installed Intunes, completed login using company credntials then downloaded teams and it asked me to pick an account to sign in and used my company account and no issues

Thanks for feedback! did you download Teams from your personal Playstore or from the work version of it ? as I mentioned Intune install a work version of Playstore (with a small briefcase icon) that is not starting up in my case.
I eventually figured out what the problem was. I mentioned that the work play store version was not starting and that was due to the fact that google services for work have been installed by Intune but not enabled. Once I did that I was able to start work play store and install Teams from there. Then it all worked, I was able to login into my company account as normal

Question registering with Intune on a rooted tablet

tab s8 ultra used for personal and work. I have the device registered with Intune so I can use apps like Outlook and Teams on it in Dex when I am working. I want to root the device so I can have full access to the virtualization possible. I know that a rooted device will be blocked from registering with Intune. Has anyone found a way around this?
I havent rooted for quite a while, but there are methods of hiding root to apps with magisk.
Alternatively, you can install Island to have a Work Profile for work apps.
