Well technically both the phones are same on the inside.
Samsung Galaxy Note – Dual Core 1.4 Ghz ARM Cortex A9 processor - Exynos
Samsung Galaxy S II – Dual core 1.2 Ghz ARM Cortex A9 processor - Exynos
Both the phone gets graphical acceleration through the Mali 400 MP GPU.
The difference is the screen size.
Samsung Galaxy Note – 5.3 inches Super AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display
Samsung Galaxy S II – 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display
The Samsung Galaxy S II is powered with Li-ion 1650 mAh battery while Note is powered with standard Li-ion 2500 mAh battery.
So make you choice if you want and can be comfortable with the large screen size to handle.
Personally i love the screen and size of it
Edit: And yeah you have the stylus and the higher resolution (HD) screen apart from the size.
Cheers!
Hit thanks if it helped!
You forgot that the Note has a beautiful HD screen, while the gs2 is slightly above VGA. The note also has a stylus, which is super useful when you need it. But the screen is so superior you just have to get the Note.

I moved from S2 to a Note, and I'm really glad I did - mainly because of the fantastic screen, which makes it much nicer to do any kind of writing based work. Was out last night and a girl with an S2 said, "I WANT YOUR PHONE!" Lol.

Samsung Galaxy ACE III

Does someone think Samsung will release a new Android-Version for the phones?? I cant imagine, they will oO They have to much phones. But my main question ist, could it be possible, that the Ace III processor is the same like ours? I can't image too, that they will use for every phone another processor Could the Ace III Rom work on our SIIImini? And what do you think about Samsung "time between phone-release"?
It will surely have a differant chipset to the s3 mini.. novathor are gone now unfortunately.
S3
Porcessor
Judging from samsung's use of processors the ace 3 3g will most likely have a broadcom chipset (same as s2 plus) with two cortex-a9 cores so the 3g will sit below the s3 mini (remember it will sport a 4'' tft and samsung is not known for good lcds...) and the 4g will most likely sport a snapdragon s4 chipset with two krait cores and adreno 305 gpu (the basic configuration for entry level 4g devices), so this will sit above the s3 mini as it will have significantly more power. as for the android updates the s3 mini will get the 4.2.2 treatment before autumn probably but that's about it.

Samsung Galaxy S 5

For those who do not know
Source: http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/new...s5s-525-inch-qhd-amoled-display-report-462909
"As we are approaching the end of 2013, Samsung's alleged 2014 flagship smartphone; the Galaxy S5 is hitting the rumour mill on a regular basis. The latest buzz about Samsung's next flagship reveals that it would sport a 5.25-inch QHD (Quad HD) AMOLED display and that it has entered mass production.
Sammobile*cites a*Korean publication*and claims that the display for alleged Galaxy S5 would comprise diamond pixel arrangement, which the company has reportedly used on Samsung's 2013 flagship smartphone,*Galaxy S4*and recently unveiled*Galaxy Note 3. The report suggests that the new diamond pixel arrangement would offer enhanced sharpness and pixel density.
Further, the Galaxy S5's screen resolution is said to be 1440x2560 pixels, with the pixel density to be 560ppi, much in-line with our earlier reports. Not too long ago, a GFXBench listing had revealed a device codenamedSamsung SM-G900S sporting a screen resolution of 1440x2560 pixels*(2K).
Recent reports have already suggested that the South Korean manufacturer has plans to*release two versions of the alleged Galaxy S5. As per the report, there would be two variants of the Galaxy S5: a premium variant which would sport a metal chassis and a flexible OLED, and a variant which will come with the usual plastic body, as found on other Galaxy smartphones.
Earlier this month, a report claimed that the*South Korean maker would again use plastic for its next flagship smartphone, instead of the*metal chassis rumoured for quite some time.
Rumoured specifications of the alleged Galaxy S5 include a 64-bit Exynos chipset or a Snapdragon chipset; 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera, a 4000mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top.
Samsung has also been rumoured to equip the allegedGalaxy S5 with an eye-scanning sensor. Samsung's expected next flagship smartphone (the Galaxy S5) will probably be the first device to pack such a feature.
Some reports have indicated that Samsung may announce the*Galaxy S5 as early as January, in a bid to overcome 'disappointing' Galaxy S4 sales."
4000mAh....
I wish but I don't think that's going to happen.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 chipset

THIS is my problem with the new Galaxy Watch 3.
I don't really feel that there is anything new on this "new" galaxy watch 3. basically, the CPU, Clock speed, GPU, everything is the same. However, it has a newer version of the Tizen OS and bit more RAM, but that doesn't really give me anything new on this watch.
What do you guys think?

As they not change Screen Resolution.. still tiny 360 x 360 Pixel... correct me...
So it makes maybe not really sense to put new faster CPU inside this tiny Watch...
GW3 is IMHO first Watch from Samsung with 8 GB eMMC...
No idea if for everyone usefull... but hey. Bigger Storage.
I can remember they told on Unpack event...
Watch Faces great Watch Faces...
And for Watch Faces this CPU is fast enough...
Maybe if more and better apps are allowed on Store...
Best Regards
New TI chip / light sensors.
What benefit would there be in upgrading the chipset? It would only raise the cost of this already expensive watch. It's Tizen, it's a smartwatch, it doesn't need improvement in that area.
The differences lay in a better screen, slimmer lighter design, more storage and new health sensors. If these aren't important to you then stick with what you have, but don't reject it just because they haven't upgraded something that has no benefit to the watch performance.
.
The difference with the Watch3 is in sensors, weight, size. It now can measure O2, blood pressure (future), EKG and do more complete sleep monitoring, as well as exercise monitoring and analysis. Yes it has the same processor and 25% less battery.

Thanks for the feedback. Actually I recently shifted over to Android and I don't have. smart watch yet. Im looking for one. Apple usually upgrade their chipset so I was only assuming that other vendors might do the same.

Which one would you recommend if I was looking for a watch with primarily health features. Someone recommended me the Garmin Venu or the Garmin Fenix 6 series. What do you guys say?
