I flashed Miui 13.0.02 Global Fastboot rom but calls are completely broken no audio/sound in phone calls nor in loud speaker or earpiece even in earphones there is no sound even whatsapp calls are not audible completely broken. any solution to this?

If you mean you can't talk on 13.0.2.0, and you got the camellia (Redmi note 10 5g china/india) it's a glitch on Global MIUI 13 and camellia version. Probably an issue w/ google's permissions update, it's glitching with unintended models running Miui 13 + Google Services.
You have to wait until (if) Xiaomi updates the Camellia model to miui 13.
Oddly enough, GSIs seem to be exempt of this issue.

Any update on this issue ?
Thanks

I have the same issue.
smartphone that can't make calls from it.
flashed the global version via fastboot...no luck
flashed the Indonisian version via fastboot ....no luck
the last thing I will flash the chinese version.

Has either of you tried flashing back to a past version - if so, did that resolve the issue?

Thanks, I just flashed indian rom, and it runs without any problem in system. But a small problem occuring at startup is that the first seconds of boot audio is not played. It seems that boot audio is played from the middle. Am I the only one with this problem?

im getting terrible call quality since updating to miui 13 its completely useless any idea whats causing this?

Dont flash the Chinese rom if you have the camellian. Only the camellia.
On camellian, it will probably brick it. I have tried it, it went to recovery instead. I havent wiped data but you could try, but chances that wont boot normally.
If you have the camellia, its good to go.

I have the same problem with my redmi note 10 5 G, miui 13.0.2
how can i fix it i have tried everything.
please a solution, thanks

Thanks a lot,
I've already tried to downgrade, but it's not possible, I'll try again, hope it works.
I don't know if I use camellia or camellian, what a difference, I'm confused!!!

camellia or camellian?
I suggest trying Android 11, Android 12 has an unstable 5G network signal.
Redmi Note 10 5G GlobalStableFastbootV12.5.6.0.RKSMIXM11.05.0 GB2022-07-05Download
In fact, I have brushed the rom of several countries, but still brushed back to the original CN region Android 11 latest stable package as the base package, and then brushed into linegaeos GSI
The main thing is signal stability

"it's clear" reminded me of platform tools. Sorry if you actually dont know how to do the procedure, anyways, download adb here > https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
Boot your phone into fastboot mode, then, open the folder of platform-tools (should not be compressed or i winrar, extract all the files to a folder), in the search bar of the folder type in "cmd" and now type:
fastboot getvar product
then it should either appear camellia or camellian

Try searching up online and on youtube you will get alot of results.
If we could support TWRP we could flash Magisk GApps easily but Im not sure if any of the TWRP builds we got on the forum even work for flashing if a/b devices dont support recoveries.

Downgrading MIUI version

I need someone to check my understanding of the Fastboot process and some of the utilities.
Is MiFlash a complete overwrite of the device firmware?
Is a backup taken through QPST software download the NVRAM settings ONLY?
Can I downgrade from 9 to 8.5 using only MiFlash?
There appears to be an issue with 3G data connections dropping in MIUI 9, which is reported on a few other models as well. This is my wife's phone and she is not capable of dealing with most technical issues, so I want to stick with MIUI instead of LineageOS or something.
Yes you can downgrade from MIUI 9. Flash 8.5.9 fastboot using Miflash it is much better than other ways...

Missing WiFi MAC and IMEI - Mi 9

First off - Mods, I have the original box and sticker IMEIs if needed as proof.
I have been flashing between AOSP and Stock trying to fix a Microphone bug on my phone (see previous posts), when all of a sudden my phone will no longer connect to Network (IMEI unavailable error)
I went through every QCN backup + editing I could think of, even using my friends Mi 9 that we both bought from the same place in China as a QCN backup + my IMEI edits.
Everytime I edit the QCN and load it, the phone just boot loops immediately shutting down upon OS load. Using MiFlash back to stock didn't work, and I had to flash Evo X rom to get it to boot normally now, but I"m also missing WiFI MAC onto of my IMEIs.
I seriously have no idea what to do. I've tried every IMEI editing tool or Hex Editor in the book to put my original IMEIs back in to no avail. What am I doing wrong that cases it to restart loop when I push my updated QCN file?
Thanks in advance - Can provide whatever else you need.

As i understand you have China version of Mi 9, saying: "MiFlash back to stock didn't work" you meаn you have flashed official xiaomi china FASTBOOT ROM and it did't work?
Then i afraid the problem is deeper then in the ROM. Because by flashing stock fastboot ROM you flash everything that possible to flash, ROM and all images, with all setting like it was from the store.

Correct. Reflashing China ROM in Fastboot does not fix the problem. It fixes the bootlooping but not the IMEI issue.

local update

Hello everyone, being new to xiaomi devices, i would like to ask about updating. So my mi8 is currently on miui global 11.0.2 (PEAITTI) which i suppose is an italian variant. My problem is that the updater does not find any new updates despite the fact that there are. So I searched for manual update and found this https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=1 . My question is this is local update used for every factory rom regardless of the area and without the need to unlock the bootloader? And is fastboot update for every rom?
Extra quetion: Do i lose something by unlocking the bootloader except the warranty? (asking that coming from sony device)
Thanks in advance.
I have some experience installing MIUI and I advise you not to "mess" with the bootloader.
There is a condition that your device goes into "Brick" mode. See- https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/help/undo-fastboot-oem-lock-t4126427
by unlocking the bootloader You will be exposed, to some extent, to intrusions into your device by hackers.
The safest situation is to only update the system by OTA! especially that you have an "Italian" MIUI system (which appears to be global).
On the other hand, if you have prior knowledge and experience, you can update your system independently, even though there is a risk, by flashing through software you can find on the network.

I haven't searched further into the subject due to lack of time in the current period and I'm fine not having the latest software as long as the device runs without problems (don't fix it if it ain't broken).
After reading your post again, I guess the "original" rum installed in the mitsosJL device, was installed by the seller who sold you the device.
You should first check if your bootloader is locked or open. (See https://gadgetmeetsguy.com/how-to-check-if-bootloader-is-unlocked/
If you decide to "unlock" the bootloader and install an update on your device, you will find many how-to guides.
I received an update via OTA for my Xiaomi Mi 8 device.
Update Name: 11.0.4.0 QEAMIXM Global.
There are not many changes since most of them are suitable for certain "regions", like China-India and some other countries in the world.
In any case, my recommendation of 02.07.2020 is still valid.
Good day to you.

How to Backup and Restore IMEI/NVRAM data on Mediatek Chipset Android Device
Alright, so you have an Android Device which has a Mediatek Chip inside. It looks like that you are not someone who uses their Android Device for basic
www.getdroidtips.com
The spflashtool option in the video was the simplest for my situation though.
I never went back to restore the imei from nvram. I just went back to the stock lancelot rom and the info was saved. When I went to the rom the imei was there in the about section phone status.
If I used miflash i chose the clean all option. Remember not to lock it.
And if I used sp flash tool i used firmware update or download mode. NOT Format ALL. I think that is why my imei may have been deleted at first.
If you manage to put that recovery there is an option there to restore from NVRAM

How To Guide [CLOSED] Convert your Moto x30 Pro (CN) to Edge 30 Ultra (EU)

FIRST OFF: If you have not bought the phone yet and plan on getting it: DON'T. The camera is broken and Motorola refuses to communicate with their customers. Is a fix coming? I someone working on it? Who knows. The phone is also still on Android 12. DO NOT BUY MOTOROLA PHONES.

Global Firmware:
- EQS_G_S3SQ32.16-16-22 (Brazilian)
- EQS_G_S3SQ32.16_16_28 (Thanks to @onken)
Where to find Firmware:
- Lolinet
- Rescue and Smart Assistant (only for your original device)
It would be great if some Edge 30 Ultra buyers could download the global firmware through the Rescue and Smart Assistant and share a zip.
Tools:
- Universal Mount System RW (Guide)
-> Fix for Android 12
- Universal Safetynet Fix Magisk Module
How to Update:
If you don't get OTA updates simply follow these steps. You need a PC with working global ADB and fastboot.
01. Download the latest Firmware from lolinet
02. Extract it, open servicefile.xml and copy the contents into this website
03. Reboot your phone into fastboot (adb reboot fastboot or press and hold Power + Volume Down)
04. Open a CMD window in the extracted folder, paste the commands from the website and hit enter
05. Don't disconnect the phone until the update has finished.
It might be possible to upgrade by putting the firmware zip into the root of your phone, booting into recovery and selecting install firmware from zip. I didnt test this yet.
Thanks for instructions
Please tell me, chinese version not have other configurations modem ? = not carrier agregations all bands LTE or i think not have all bands, in 99% not have B20 and i think other.
This same situations - similar, OnePlus 10r or chinese OnePlus ACE
According to my seller the phone has the following bands:
B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, B32, N1, N3, N28, N78
No support for:
B28, B38
No issues here in germany, dont have 5g (not in my plan) but I get good Band 20 reception.
Ok, if have B20 its ok
I have yet one question about relock bootlader
If i have XT2241-2 - relock bootlader is safe ?
I ask because i eralier bricked Motoroa G82 after lock bootlader again...
Maybe problem is i not earlier delete magisk ( root ) but i not sure about in 100% forget delete this magisk...
No, dont ever relock the bootloader. If you skip through the official Motorola forums you will find a lot of people with bricked devices EVEN AFTER flashing their original firmware via the rescue assistant.
I would not under any circumstance relock the bootloader - it is really a dangerous game even if you have not modified anything.

Yes. At least it shows RETEU in settings and you get an OTA if you flash 16-16-22. We will see about future updates.
Amazing! On any Motorola device before it was impossible to change the Chinese software update channel to RETAIL, RETEU and the like.
It may be because your device has the RETCN channel. But this is unlikely. I've never seen that before, and I've been doing Moto firmware for 10 years. Not professionally of course, but still I have some idea.

Working Android auto, contact sync and assisstant out of the box. A slightly different UI and less bloat but that's basically it. Oh and of course more language options.

Thanks for the info. Appreciate it.
One more question. My software version is 16-16-15. Is there an updated version for the CN firmware? Will ota work? Or I have to update manually?
Thanks for a great guide! I have just succeeded in converting my CN to EU/Global. But now I can't use Google Pay, because "the phone has been rooted or tampered with". Is it because of the unlocked bootlocker? The Global rom from the thread is not rooted? What to do?
Thanks for any help
Update: it looks like it could be a problem with "CTS profile match" failing?
After converting ,the widevine is L1 or L3?
Always L3 only and not working Netflix ( and maybe more )
