Google Camera GO comes with this ROM, but you can install custom Google Cameras too.
The issue with video recording is fixed, meanwhile 4k recording still doesn't work.
I will try to fix the issue as soon as I get time.

Thanks man!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

I managed yesterday to downgrade and flash this one and it works like a charm. Very smooth and stable. Thanks for sharing and for the help!
dude this is absolutely great. do you plan releasing updates for this in the future? because it seems like its the first release of 17.1 so there are still a lot of fixes to be done yet by the lineage devs.

If you're in Color OS then you have the right firmware and you can flash this rom via TWRP. Make sure you wipe your data and cache before flashing. If you get into recovery after first reboot (could happen if you are in a rom with data encryption), format data and reboot again.

Yes, of course. This are the steps I followed. I assume you haven't an unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed. If so, you can skip the 3 first steps.
1 - Unlock bootloader following this tutorial. https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1184734239149522944 . If you face any issue when entering the commands in fastboot mode I would recommend connecting the usb to another port of your computer and try again.
2 - Flash TWRP. You can find a guide here https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...de-newbie-resource-thread-bootloader-t3995285 . It is pretty simple, in summary you must flash the TWRP image and the VBMETA image in fastboot mode.
3 - Enter in TWRP, make a backup of all partitions.
4 - Download ColorOS firmware from here https://realmeupdater.com/downloads/archive/RMX1971EX/ (thanks kemo12533). I downloaded the RMX1971EX_11_A.17 version. You will get an OZIP file that you must copy to your phone. I would recommend copying it to an external SD card.
5 - From TWRP, wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache. Press install and select the ColorOS ozip you moved to SD.
6 - Press reboot system and you should boot into color OS. If your phone reboots into recovery mode again, format data (keep in mind that this will erase everything in your phone storage).
Thank you very much for your effort. May I ask if this will work with european models? Are there really no known issues in the very first release? Will this be added to the official download lists?

What is this?
An AOSP based ROM, with gapps included and gesture support (pocket, hand wave, pickup).
Based on Android 11.0
Bugs:
You tell me!
Steps:
1. Use latest CosmicDan treble TWRP
2. Re-partition to treble layout if you haven't done so yet
3. Flash vendor.img, system.img and a treble supported kernel (you can use mine or any of the other treble kernels on tissot xda)
4. Wipe data if coming from any other rom(!)
5. Flash Rom (No need for gapps, do not flash them, they are included!)
6. Reboot and wait for setup wizard to come up (may take 2-3 minutes)
7. Reboot
There is now a toggle to add SuperSU on boot in Phh Settings > Misc:
Just enable it and reboot. (Keep in mind it breaks safteynet, if you need to use a banking app, disable it from settings and reboot)
Downloads: Link

@flex1911 for his help bringing 9.0 kernel source for tissot
Oreo team (you all know who you are,@CosmicDan for twrp, @ghpranav for treble vendor source)
Enjoy!
P.S.
I am not going to add any custom features from other roms so please don't comment about that, feel free to flash any other GSI with this vendor/kernel if you want other features.

What do you mean not working? Did you clean install? Does it show up in settings? Are you using my vendor + kernel?
Edit: tested it again on clean install, works fine.
Please follow all the instructions and use my kernel and vendor

I'm probably missing something ... these are my steps:
- device is already in treble mode
- format data
- flash vendor, flash system,flash boot.img (kernel = boot.img, right?)
- the system starts without problems! but the initial configuration does not show the fingerprint option
apparently for me only fingerprint didn't work... the system is working perfectly. thank you sooti

Works normal so far. Is there the latest boot.img? Because this old boot.img makes GCam v7 freeze.

No idea, it's working fine for me, please make sure you haven't flashed magisk
Flash the vendor and boot image from the drive , wipe using fastboot -w then reboot ,.
Tried it twice and it's fine
If it's still not working please send logs

After few checks it seems Volte is not working because Xiomi firmware 11 global doesn't connect to LTE only 3G. After changing to EU version it work OK now.
But i find another problem i can't add new APN. So, no data mobile yet.
LE: after some documentation, its seems is mandatory to complete APN field with "default" . After this APN can be saved and use.
Help
Hi i unlocked bootloader and install orangefox recovery and then tried to flash this rom on miui12 global but give me E1001 and said failed to install system image what should i do?

I cannot add apn. When it is set to "default" there is no apn to choose (my sim card only need new apn). Is there any solution? Your ROMs are very nice to use, but I am stuck with the above problem. Please help

It works !! Thanks for the answer, your rom is the best rom I've tried, thank you (sorry if my language will understand a bit).
I´ve been flashing this rom during whole night shift.
1) format data, wipe everything except SD card data
2) reboot to system and recover apps from google backup ( you must enter old PIN if you used it before - my case )
3) if you want Magisk (sure you want!) - remove PIN encryption or set it to the gesture ( Orangefox CAN´T decrypt the data through PIN!!!), install Magisk Manager V8
4) boot to OF, mount everything and flash Magisk v2.1
5) wipe dalvik/cache and reboot

Are you using any screen protector or changed screen? If so then it can be the root of the issue.
If not try this: go to Settings > Display > Colors > and set the color mode to Natural, then try again.
If the problem persists, try using another finger.
Here fod is working fine, I've registered many times the finger at first attempt

As long as you don't flash DFE then yes, it keeps encrypted and it's capable to do OTA updates (I enabled them but haven't tested yet). You can still use adb sideload or otg to flash manually ^^
I seem to have lost fingerprint after the new update
Edit : Nevermind wrong file flashed sorry

Hey, thanks for the update and ROM! Just flashing it rn, question tho - since you mentioned dropping vulkan and ProtonAOSP which pixelOS is based on uses it for major gains in performance - do you mean dropping it completely or reverting to prev version?

Hi! Glad to hear! Welcome . And yeah I'm dropping Vulkan as renderer, i know that it's better since it boosts performance, but, at least on Mi 9, it's just not the perfect renderer. It causes weird artifacts/color issues on videos and also makes some GCams like LMC to crash. So I dropped it, more stable and the change isn't noticeable. ^^
I saw in some other Xiaomi devices that MIUI camera is included in PixelOs. Is this built the same case?
I can't see unlock OEM in developer options ?

It is not included, because ANX cam for cepheus doesn't work properly on A12/A12L (Vlog/Portrait modes crashes, for example.) so i didn't included it

there's face unlock. Magisk works fine. Some banking system reject to work when they detect rooted devices. It's not a ROM problem, but rather of Magisk itself which cannot hide itself.
I found an annoying bug..
My Mic is not working for recording Video. And Cannot upload a video to whatsapp status because of it.
Sometimes it is working but my voice is on the speaker too..
And i cannot control the call volume when using earphone.

can't reproduce the mic problem, works fine anywhere and always worked.
Controlling call volume is an old issue affecting all ROMs from my experience. I tried to do something on my side and was only able to adjust the sound when using the speaker.

With the original Firmware it worked! I had to diable carrier check with a code.
its good
I'm facing issue here.
While flashing ROM version 8.7 (android version 12, security patch 2022-07-05, build date sun aug 7 00:34:54 CEST 2022), while Running OTA_BAK process, it says not enough free space for creating the OTA survival. Process OTA_BAK failed. Flashing nikgapps(basic) was ok. After reboot, it goes to the first boot. I see the CrDroid eye logo and that's it. I've been waiting for 20 minutes and the eye logo is still there. What can I do?
Update1: Realized I forgot to format data. After format, the OTA_BAK process can proceed. Now booting (at the eye logo). Finally at Welcome to crDroid screen. Yay!
Update2: The google phone dialer is broken. When I make a phone call, pressing the red hang up button doesn't work.
Update3: The charging statistics in the locksreen seems broken. 1mA doesn't seem right. (refer photo).
Is it possible to install the original miui camera app on this? Or this there any better camera? I came here and I don't know which to choose.

1. OTA requires ~3GB on data for backup in case something goes wrong on next OTA update. You can take the risk and disable it within recovery or backup manually before OTA update.
2. Google Phone always worked fine for me.
3. Charging stats are right, we don't have Battery Management System (BMS) that reports power infos, only battery stats, indeed you can see battery voltage and temperature that are correct. You can hide this infos somewhere in crDroid settings.
4. MIui camera is proprietary and will work only on miui rom.
CrDroid 8.7 Build 2022-08-12 Feedback:
1. Couldn't save screenshot issue. Done all the solutions I know, wipe of Dalvik / ART Cache, wipe Internal Storage and Factory Reset. But the problem still persist.
2. Pre-installed Browser app crashing/forced closed when downloading any kinds or types of files.
Ps. Kindly please provide a fix for that issues, though I know those are minor issues only and very normal for a Beta custom rom, but it's still best for it to be fix right.
Thank you
But i don't find the gapps fo android 12!!

Does Mi Sound work here? Previously, I have confirmed that old libdirac.so does not work on Android 12 and above. If this is working then anyone please tell me.

No errors also in Ancient OS A12 but no difference at all between turning on/off nor changing profiles.
Do you hear any differences at audio while turning on/off and changing profiles of the mi sound?
ROM is very stable. Is there a way to disable advanced reboot settings from showing up in the lock screen?
EDIT: There are some hangs/crashes (probably due to regular GApps being too heavy for the phone) here and there but it's manageable. Can confirm the Pixel XL spoof works for unlimited Google Photos backups.
Edit 2: Latest update + reflashing with GApps Go fixed most of the performance issues.
