Issues I may find with a Chinese (Atom) firmware on a daily driver in Western Countries. - Redmi 10X / 10X Pro Questions & Answers

Hi, dear forum members.
I have owned a Redmi 10 (atom) since December 2020. I am not using it as a daily driver as in my country, you need an FCC-approved device to use it as a daily driver.
Now I plan a trip to the USA, various Schengen area countries, and possibly to Vietnam. Currently, I am using a Chinese official firmware, V13.0.2.0.SJHCNXM.
I want to get feedback from any members living in those areas if you use your device daily and what issues you regularly face.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

ENGLISH support by Teclast and how to overcome it?

Hi guys,
I'm Max and I'm writing from Italy.
I discover Teclast x98 Air 3G some times ago, I really want to thanks @mirek190 and @tecknight for their help to the international community.
Yeah, the point is: INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY.
We came from many countries but we all speak English, instead of chinese, the language of the firm called Teclast. And some of us use localized forums like Hispatablets (Spain) or Alternative-forum (Italy).
But, maybe between us we can find some cinese users that is ablet to speak english and could help us to be updated on news and Guide from Teclast official forum:
- Official Teclast BBS Forum
In this way, with their effort (we can donate some money to turn back a beer..), we could translate official Guide, re-host the official software (ex. UEFI Bios, Windows 10, Android Lollipop, the new RemixOS 2.0 as soon as available) on other hosting like Mega.co.nz or Google Drive.
Someone interested?
That would be brilliant:fingers-crossed:. But there is so much to translate. It's almost impossible. I know we relay on a few people who are very active in the x98 community. But Teclast has to make this step. At least that's my opinion

Introducing Myself

Hello!! I am Sakodie.I am glad joining the community and I hope I will get help.I am from Africa and the entire African mobile market is being led by Chinese Manufacturers (Especially Transsion Holdings- Tecno, Infinix and Itel) But so far, there's little to no online help concerning these brands, putting us Africans behind. For example I own the Tecno Spark 4 KC8 upgraded to Android 10 but there is no online TWRP or any other custom recovery for it (you can only be chanced to see that of Tecno Spark 4 Lite- which is still not even to an extent). Also, there seems to hardly be a tutorial explaining how to root such phones.
I hope the Developers in this forum will try to put Africa on the map too.
Thanks, Sakodie

Welcome to this forum! Happy to have you here! If there are no official updates for your device, look into Custom ROM’s.
