How do you plan to solve it? Share it here. no msm tool available for gen 1 processor yet not available in the market. any box device is not working either.

You are wrong. There are msm tool. You just cannot use it since you don't have a OnePlus login

Yes, the reason I can't revive my phone is because we can't log in.

Can't log in is different than it is not available. It IS available, but you aren't allowed to use it.

I wonder when there will be a solution to this damn issue. I had to open a device that I never wanted to open..

This friend ran the software and recovered the phone but it does not give any information.
@rohit41u

Mod Edit: Quoted Post Deleted
You're referring to the MSM tool and a techs log in? If you're a OnePlus tech you're going to get fired, if you're not then what exactly are you selling??? It's a free tool, you've just keylogger stolen the details, nothing more.. trying to make money off people ?? That's shocking behaviour, genuinely awful..

{Mod Edit: Quoted Post Deleted}
Either way buddy, you can't sell usage of a free tool, certainly not promote it... You also made it sound like you were the one selling it as a "service"
Perhaps be more specific when you explain things...
To be clear, anybody selling the use of the MSM tool is a tool themselves.

So, there's only one guy who's selling the Msm login info it seems.
I wonder how oneplus would react if they found out. Wonder if an email over there would do anything about this fool.... But probably not.

Hi, how did you figure out the test point? My Realme GT 2 PRO is dead bricked too, but i am not sure which are the correct test points:

Only the msm tool login will not do the trick. For the MSM Tool to work it need a file with the extension .ops, currently I could only find the .ofp file for oneplus 10 pro.
So I'm only wating for that to bring back my device.

ColorOS MSM tools always require internal account to log in. As OnePlus moves to ColorOS as its codebase since Android 12, free MSM tool (like with pure OxygenOS before) no longer exists I'm afraid.
I cannot find any free OxygenOS 12 MSM tool for any devices

I took a brief look into it over the weekend, some stuff is tied to the login like important setup files get streamed in to the tool. But it all looks like, if someone had a login, they could cache that info and crack it that way. Just needs the setup/flashing instructions from server basically. Would take longer to manually reverse their proprietary format.

Alright then, maybe we should look at this a different way. How would we be able to get a remote session with oneplus/ a technician?
Clearly it's possible as that one loser did it. It's just how he did it.

The easiest way used to be to reach out to support and tell them that your phone did an update and it won't boot into the system anymore. Then they would set up a remote session to flash your phone. The more difficult part at that point was you needed to set up a keylogger on your computer and run it when they do it and then disconnect before they can delete the files. If you feel comfortable doing that, then no problem. I wouldn't want to set up a keylogger on my own computer, so would have to either run a VM that I can actually get into EDL with or a clean set up just for that purpose. Either way, it's possible and hopefully someone is able to do it. The good part is we have the MSM for each device already, just need to crack it so we can freely use it as needed.

Nokia Icon (929) stuck at red Nokia screen can't flash

I was using the 10 preview, great stuff, but I had a problem with my LTE connection and that was more important so I decided to downgrade back to 8.1. I guess my first mistake was trusting microsft to do this properly, i used the windows phone recovery tool. It started the process then came up with a big FAILED message. Now i can't get past the red Nokia screen.
i've tried the lumia recovery tool, using the phone will not boot option, it detects the phone (some times) says that it's a Nokia Icon RM-927 downloads the correct firmware and then the phone immediatly reboots and the reocvery software says that the firmware is not for the device. "0xFA001304: Platform ID check fails. Reason(s): The FFU file is not meant for this product. The platform ID of image does not match with platform ID of the device."
over the last day in all the research and digging i have confirmed that the product code and subsequent downloaded firmware is correct, i've tried using the Phone support tool and got the same message, i've even tried command line using thor2.exe. thor2 had a bypass product code check but apparently that requires some sort of authentication?? i'm stuck i need this phone. it's not life or death but any help is appreciated
also holding down the power and volume down key at the same time does not make the phone vibrate.
I've come to the conclusion that I need to reflash what i'm guessing is the boot loader, but i can't find the hex or the bin file anywhere. apparently either there aren't a lot of icons out there or there aren't a lot of people bricking their icons.
if anyone has a working icon could they please get me the bin file i need?

Ping that OP maybe he can help you
unfortunately i have tried that. Problem is, his downloads as well as all the other possible downloads i have found include just about all devices except mine. There are a few posters in that thread that are also asking for the icon hex files I figured I'd start a new thread because I couldn't find one and I think the posts in that other thread are probably buried or glazed over by people who don't also have that issue.
bump. still looking for an answer
@tlman12, have you tried to download firmware for your handset with "NaviFirmPlus" and flash it by using Nokia care suite?
P.S. I don't have RM-927 but just checked NaviFirm - they have 3 versions of the bits for your Icon (3 for black and 3 for white, don't know what the difference).

I was gonna say yes I did but when I tried to dl the firmware I only had 2 options 1 for white and 1 for black. I double checked Microsoft's site and it was the current fw. I'm curious what the other 2 options for the colors were because maybe an older version would work? Maybe the broke the current version? How did you see 6 options?
@tlman12, six versions I meant, it was about older firmware. So NaviFirmPlus shows 3 versions for your handset, each version has 2 options: for black and white handsets.
I can recommend you to buy/donate NaviFirmPlus guys and try to flash older fw with Nokia tools (not MS). Sorry but that's all I can help you...

Yeah I did use navifirm to download it but I only saw 1 version per color. Do you have to pay for it to see older versions? Or did I do something wrong? I have no problem making the donation if it fixes my phone but I've gone about trying to obtain the fw every way I can think of. Problem is cause this was a Verizon exclusive there's not a whole lot of info out there for it in this respect

I donated to NaviFirm and logged in, it is different, the free or canceled login version doesn't auto load the list on the left.
unfortunately none of the other version worked either, same message of invalid product ID.
No other ideas?
Manufacturer warranty service/exchange?

too far out of warranty, id have to pay out of pocket. It's just hard for me to justify paying exorbitant amounts to repair something I have the ability to do it myself. although at this point I think I just don't have the tools. I wish phone manufactures didn't lock down their phones so much. I mean we own the phone we should be able to do whatever we want with them right?
Bumping old post with new info, Turns out the reason I can't flash my device (Yes I'm still having problems gave up on it for a while) is because my platform ID was mangled at some point during the upgrade or down grade. It's currently Nokia.MSM8974..2.2 which is why I can't get any FFU files to flash to the device.
Is there any info on how to manipulate either the platform ID on the device or the platform ID the FFU is looking for? or how to bypass that check all together? I know there's a switch in thor2 but it says it requires authentication, is there a way to bypass that?

New oneplus 3T unbrick tutorial. (errno:258 solved)

Hi guys!
I got a really painful hard brick, i thought the device would be completely dead (msmdownloadtool always said errno: 258 while downloading system.img)
So i decided to mix two tutorials and i finally fixed it. There you have it.
1.) Make sure driver signature enforcement is disabled.
2.) Try these drivers,one of them might work too :
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347799753
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982086990168
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24349802275800175
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24349802275800173
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24349802275800171
3.)
Download this :- http://www.mediafire.com/download/4a...6wc67/Qualcomm 1.00.11.rar
Keep phone disconnected from PC.
Open the folder "qc" and install the Test Certificate in the following Stores: Trusted Root, Trusted Publisher, Third-Party Root and Personal
Run the Qualcomm setup wizard (also located in the qc folder)
When completed, restart your PC again with Driver Signature Disabled. (Optional but preferred)
The driver should now automatically install. If not, go to device manager and right click "Unknown Device" and click "Update Driver" Search up the QC folder and press ok. The driver should now install.
When all of this is done, press the power button for 40 seconds and then, plug your phone while you press volume up. On control panel/devices and printers you will see your phone as Qualcomm 9008 or something like that.
Unbricktool(OP3T): https://mega.nz/#!Q1YnTTAT!gnLf6NEkS...1-vReKx7B1VVpI
run this tool as administrator and a green text will pop.
Do not use the front usb of your pc, try with the ones in the back.
Do not try the oneplus 3 unbrick tutorials, they wont work and you can kill your device since the unbrick oneplus 3 tutorials are using oneplus 3 exclusive files.

I had the same problem with my phone, you should try to install a different version of the MSM tool and (maybe) try flashing different zips till one works. I had that error and a few other error codes after hard bricking and i finally got it to work before i called support. There's a lot of variables, sometimes you just gotta play around with it when you're hard bricked, worth a shot.

MediaPad M3 UN-BRICK, RESTORE, ROLLBACK and RESCUE for BTV variants.

Here is a collection of files for the BTV-W09, BTV-DL09 and BTV-L0j. They are somewhat organized and contain firmware, board software, roll back packages with instructions and a poor quality un-edited video of how to flash with IDT successfully. The image for test point location is good for w09 and dl09. I don't know if they are the same on the l0j from Japan or not. Should you truly need a file for the BTV variants of the M3, leave a reply to let me know what it is and I'll see what I can do.
DISCLAMER:
There are other Huawei firmware and board software within this thread. Any use of them is at your own risk, although if you're here you've already screwed something up, whether you believe yourself to be at fault or not.
Flashing board software is a last resort and should not be done unless all other methods have been exhausted. Only flash board software when there are no other alternatives.

Please, do you have the same files for BAH-AL00/BAH-L09 ?
I have been struggling for a few months to repair my tablet but I didn't find anywhere the right file ( prog_emmc_firehose_8937_ddr.mbn ) for my tablet .
Or I can use the files from CPN-L09 ?
Thank you very very much in advanced !
tek3195, I already tried with CPN files but I have always error with :" Sahara protocol error" , "Uploading Image using Sahara protocol failed" ... I'm using QFIL as administrator with Antivirus disabled & Airplane mode enabled on my laptop and nothing changed about Sahara protocol error, and even I used "emmcdl.exe -p COM5 -f prog_emmc_firehose_8937_ddr.mbn -x rawprogram0.xml" - also without success !
Anyway, I think the battery is close to 0 and there are very poor chances to repair it.

Thanks for your quick reply. I need a working solution to take back to factory firmware. I tried it many times, but I haven't succeeded, I always got a recovery screen or bootloop. Is it possible with your files and method?

I wouldn't try cpn on bah, even with same firehose loader it shouldnt work.If it did flash it may make a hard to recover brick.

I haven't flashed qualcomm in a while but the error may be from wrong software if using CPN on a BAH. Anyway, I can get BAH-L09 and Iwill have to dig around and find another tool for flashing Huawei/Qualcomm. I hve it but can't remember the name of it right now. It's a lot simpler than QFIL.

Anyway, I guess I can't recover my device as battery seems to be almost empty and when the QFIL start to make some operations, the device seems to turn off frequently ( at least the drivers keep disconnecting and reconnecting itself )

I managed to brick my device by flashed a wrong TZ.img via TWRP !
I know it was stupid of me, but now I have nothing to do with it!

On the back side of my tablet it has a label and it says BTV-AL00, but on the settings the menu it says BTV-L09 !
Anyway, I guess I can't recover my device as battery seems to be almost empty and when the QFIL start to make some operations, the device seems to turn off frequently ( at least the drivers keep disconnecting and reconnecting itself )
Thank you very much in advanced !

Is it BAH-L09 or BTV-L09 ? I have bah-l09 uploading now, it has board software and a rollback update.app in it along with other release documentation. I can't remember if the Huawei tool I'm looking for needs battery or not. Seems like it flashes without it.
I really don't know if it's Al00 or L09 .... as I said on the back it has a label with BAH-AL00 and something written in Chinese but the getprop it say : BAH-L09 !
Also it's working with kernel compiled from Huawei BAH-L09 source code ... but this it's not so relevant as also CPN devices are working with BAH-L09 source code !
EDIT :
Yes, we talk about Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 / BAH-L09 !
@surdu_petru here is folder with board software and tools for BAH-L09. Still haven't found the other tool I was looking for.
Ok, I'll try right now, Thanks !

Thank you very much for your help! Unfortunately, for unknown reasons my device can't stay connected on edl mode - so there is no way to flash something via edl mode !
Tthe device seems to communicate successfully only immediately after it has been connected via usb - in edl mode ... unfortunately, a few seconds later the device can no longer be detected !
Tested with : "emmcdl -p COM15 -info'' - and working only one time ( as soon as the device has been connected ) - and if I tried the same command for the second time, there is no device detected like into the picture !

It looks like it is still connected and recognized in 9008 mode even after invalid handle status. Different software to flash it with would be my thought. I am not very well versed in Windows and have a Sigma Key Huawei Edition that takes the hard work out of most issues like this one. However, there are free software that will fix it I believe, it's just a matter of finding the right one and then a version of it thst supports msm8937. QPST or QFIL that I see in background I have never had any luck with other than one Lenovo tablet. I will look for the one tool that I have had good luck with in the past. I can't remember the name but I will know it when I see it.

It will be awesome if you can get me the right tool for flash, as I already tried a lot of tools and non working, thanks !
@surdu_petru here is the one that I have had best luck with. There should be a "how to use" file with it.

Question Note 10 pro won't show up in MiFlash Unlock 5.5.224.24

Hi,
I recently bought a Note 10 pro (M2101K6G) since my Note 6 pro died and now I'm trying to unlock the bootloader.
However, I can't seem to get the phone to show up in the MIFlash Unlock tool. (Downloaded here)
What I did:
- First I installed the xiaomi usb driver.
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
- Then I enabled developer options and then USB Debugging and OEM Unlock.
- Then I added my Mi account to the phone and it said Added successfully. Mi account is associated with this device now.
- After that I booted to fastboot, connected the phone and startet up the Unlock Tool (batch_unlock.exe) as Administrator.
- Then I logged in in the Unlock Tool.
- However, the Unlock Tool is still empty.
Trying to start the tool first and the connect the phone didn't work either.
The log from the Unlock Tool is attached to this post.
When I do a fastboot devices my phone will show up like this. However it still won't show up in the Unlock Tool.
I also tried following many tutorials and the difference was always that the current version of the Unlock Tool is called batch_unlock.exe and the older versions are called miflash_unlock.exe.
So I also downloaded an older version (miflash_unlock-en-4.5.813.51) and tried this one.
However, I can't seem to get past the account screen (my guess is because it is outdated?):
However, here in the settings I was able to click check driver and it seems that I have a correct driver installed:
So can anyone help me get my device unlocked?
Thank you!
DocRingeling
Try this new version and run as administrator. It should work
Code:
http://miuirom.xiaomi.com/rom/u1106245679/5.5.224.55/miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.55.zip
Click refresh few more times. I too faced this issue. Or try plugging in device to some different port.
Connect phone to PC before launching flash tool.

I only have the included one since this is my first USB-C device. I will try to get some cables to test tomorrow. However, data transfer works with the cable and adb and fastboot can detect the phone. Just not the unlocker.

....if "fastboot devices" shows up a number then your system has recognized your phone. So the problem is miflash.
Try to copy the whole miflash-folder to the root of your HDD, then run as Admin. Before do this restart your PC. Try this with different versions of miflash-unlock tool.

MOD EDIT: Quote removed since post deleted.
This did it. I have moved it to C:\Xiaomi\miflash_unlock-en-5.5.1008.26 and then it worked like a charm.
Thank you guys so much!

Bricked Google Pixel 4a 5G (.mbn file needed)

Hello all,
today, i tried to downgrade from Android 12 to Android 11. I have followed this official guide: https://developers.google.com/android/images#bramble
I unlocked bootloader and did the flash-all command but the proccess stoped here and phone didnt restart. I realized i downloaded wrong firmware - for google Pixel 4a (non 5G version). Phone is now bricked and i have only one choice - flash the eMMC memory through Qualcomm Flash tool (GPST/QFIL). But i need the correct firehose file for the phone model - file named like prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn. I cant get it anywhere for pixel 4a 5G. So my phone is now just paperweight.
I have read simmilar stories from Pixel 3 users after they did OTA updates.
Does anyone please have the correct .mbn file for Pixel 4a 5G or know how to get it from working phone?
Can somebody help me please? Is there any other solution other than getting new phone? Thank you all for support!
Are you able to fastboot. If you are open the flashall and run the command by itself. Would that work. I think if you flash radio again over it. Should be ok

I can't get into fastboot. I'm stuck in Qualcomm download mode. I have second pixel 4a 5G, but I don't know how to extract the mbn file out of it.
Unfortunately Google does not make QPST files available for the Pixel series.
Wish they did, though.
I wonder if OP could use Pixel 5a MBN (if it exists). 5a and 4a5g are near identical, and if his BL is unlocked it should just flash over. If OP can get any response from that, then dump factory flash over. Then,hopefully any wipes done to his modem/persist/fsg, etc partitions can be regenerated/recopied over rom the backup partitions from its interal normal operations of slot duplications or staging for upgrades/downgrades. I dunno.

I think if you can find a similar MBN it might work.

Hey, do you solve it?
I've flashed my 4a_5g with a non 5G version flash-all , and it's now nothing more than a brick:< . Just as what you did here

I've got one for the 4a (assuming you mean mbn?). I found it trying to find a method to unbrick mine.
I know this is dead, just figure it may help somebody else that might come across this from a search and to say mbn might be available for 5g version somewhere since this one is, or if they're looking for pixel 4a mbn.
Pixel 4a mbn
Edit: I see now .xml files are required as well, I assume those are the files you mean since I can't find them anywhere. I'm shocked there is no solution to unbrick a pixel. Sheesh.

I wish I could say I agree, but the reality is manufacturing has evolved to the point that smartphones are all but disposable. It's cheaper for the manufacturer to just replace dead devices with new ones than it is for them to maintain aftermarket repair support.
Anyone with a solution here?
I've flashed my 4a_5g with a non 5G version boot.img
My phone hard bricked with the bootloader unlocked and I need help on flashing firmware. My PC still detects it as Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008.

Sorry, was of no use. The closest i came to, was a file named *picasso*.elf which is meant for Xiomi picasso phones i guess ( see attached screenshots ). Reason is, same chipset at least, SDM 765. Errors in RED. Remember, one needs the exact MBN for a specific brand/model/Carrier. Mine is Pixel 4A-5G possibly Verizon. This should be leaked from google labs, NOT given by anybody. I can't find in the whole of internet.
Thanks anyway
