Question CUSTOM ROM ANDROID 12 - ZTE Axon 30 Ultra

Hi guys,
Anyone knows of any Android 12 custom ROM that can run on ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G?
Lineageos 18?

there isn't one yet, because we still haven't figured out how to unlock the bootloader!? I have already built a TWRP.

Any hope that ZTE will unlock the bootloader?
Maybe we could write to them?

ZTE does not release any information regarding opening the bootloader. I have already written to ZTE's R&D team and it has been rejected. I have some peigranmmier knowledge of custom rom build, and TWRP. but unfortunately not how to open a bootloader except the standard version but that doesn't work.

There's no much hope then.
Just few people got the phone, and if you contacted ZTE itself and they regret to open the bootloader, we're doomed.
It's a shame, I really think this phone is top tier in hardware, but not in software, with a good custom ROM it could be Top 5 in the market easily.

bootloader unlock?!

What is the most reliable site to unlock the ?
currently bootloader unlock is disabled by Huawei Corp,
check xda or these sites regulary for news
http://hcu-client.com/category/news-updates/
https://chimeratool.com/en/models/huawei#q=p20+
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/news
this is my first Huawei .. I come from a samsung s8 plus, my question is there any program like "odin" for Huawei? I have seen, but everything for huawei and paid
thank you
Yeah see Roms and other kernels here in xda all. In. One flash tool is good.
But at the moment bootloader isn't unlockable. For Huawei p20 pro, so you need to. Wait a short time.
(since a month Huawei. P20. Normal was unlocked) so wait....
Of course it's possible to unlock bootloader. It's paid and quite expensive but there are at least three suppliers who offer it. Just do some searching here or in discussion section. Development is not in mature stage though.
Thank you all, I'll wait.

Sorry, Wait for what? Bootloader unlock is available for P20 Pro for quitr some time. The user above provided misleading and outdated information. If you bothered to do little search you would easily find at least 4 threads about bootloader unlock. I personally used ministryofsolutions. Worked like a charm.

Oh Dear. You told huawei customer care that You needed root. What were you trying to achieve with this warcry lol
I don't think you understood what i was trying to say. Before you post anything equally "interesting" let me state something obvious. Bootloader unlock service is no longer available through official channel (read huawei official website) since . It is available thanks to third party services.
And you can easily root your device just do some searching here.

Unlock / Root / ROMs?

This seems to be a good phone. I don't have experience with realme phones so excuse the questions:
how is unlock policy for realme?
how are chances for costume rom development, since the color os seems to be EN/CN language only?
Thanks for answers

I will believe a developer community emerge when they release the kernel source for the Realme X2 Pro*since it is the flagship. I have little faith though
Actually, realme has sent some devices to developer in the past. So I guess they are pretty open with custom development and that's a good sign already. I hope there would be a lot of custom ROM for the device since it is a great device but color OS might be not everyone's cup of tea
according to nathan30's reply on the "Little feedback" thread "project treble is available but the partition layout is only A and not A/B " so we might be able to flash GSI (Generic System Image) to get clean Android experience really soon

That's the exact reason I wrote it in parenthesis, I wasn't sure about it.. but I do think that opening the bootloader is a must, correct me if I'm wrong. Have you ever managed to flash (unofficial) ROM via ADB while the bootloader is locked? Is GSI different from any other costume ROM?
Let's say we flashed a gsi, then how can we get back to stock rom?

I want to make a European version out of my Chinese version as well, but the link you are mentioning will simply re-flash the Chinese ROM onto the Chinese phone. It's useful when the phone doesn't boot anymore or if you have other issues with the phone.
AFAIK, Realme has not made the European ROM available for download yet. Once/if they do, then you can use the above tutorial and simply use the European ROM source.

Because you can't flash zip roms (ozip in our example) with Mi Flash.
And Oppo does not have any EDL rom in regular format anymore, .ops or .ofp format.
So you can't do anything unless you have fastboot rom and and a working fastboot with unlocked bootloader.
So don't

Question eea rom on indian device

once bootloader unlocked can we flash eea rom over an indian device and relock bootloader?
You can but don't lock the bootloader
Will the banking apps like ICICI, Indusind paytm etc work when bootloader is unlocked.? I'm really tempted to unlock it and flash the eu rom
Possibly not while unlocked but not flashed, so just in case, flash the EU ROM as soon as you unlock. One common issue after flashing and installing twrp is that some bank apps see the empty twrp folder and won't install. Just delete the folder, it has nothing in it, from your internal memory before installing your apps.

NO, I've literally just installed xiaomi.eu rom 2 days ago, first thing i tested was banking and payment apps with bootloader unlocked, everything is working PERFECT without any issues.
i found a few minor bugs with this rom. but way less than the bugs i found with original global rom. battery have dramatically improved and device is so smooth. Honestly, i didnt expect it to be this good. i'll try it a bit more.
