Question EFS folder - Realme GT 2

Hello, I need help to be able to recover my phone, apparently the EFS folder is corrupted and I do not have a mobile network, only Wi-Fi. If anyone can backup your EFS folder and share it so that I can restore my phone, I would be very grateful.

Order a new phone, copy EFS, return phone...

hahaha , I thought so, but it is a bit expensive, I bought the equipment on aliexpress and I live in Chile, South America

how you going to do that and we dont have unlocked bootloader and root and it will not work 100% because i did that with s6 couple years ago it will not work even if some one gives you his efs folder that contain his imei and device unique ids serials and that's not going to happen anyways...
i remember scrwing my galaxy s6 EFS folder it was a nightmare i begged all over internet not one one helped me so i end up going to repair shop and i got new certificat with octoplus box with 20bucks
all you need is find some one with repair shop who has octoplus box google this
OCTOPLUS FRP TOOL V.2.1.7 IS OUT! it will genarate new certificate for the device the network will work again but it will keep loose signal time to time thats whatshappend to my s6 and you will never get your original imei back again (repair it with octoplusbox and sell it)

Download the full OTA firmware for your device (ex. OTA for RMX3311 if originally your device was RMX3311) and the OnePlus Updater app. Install that app and after that install manually the OTA file you just downloaded. You will get you mobile data connection back.

[Q] no efs -> repair /rebuild ?

Hi !
I plan to buy a friend's note n7000, he uses it as an ipod touch because he has deleted "efs" folder with no backup.
The phone is unlocked, i wonder if t is possible to "make the phone work" again
For example by restoring an efs backup from another galaxy note with odin ?
His phone is unlocked by orange (french carrier) to all carrier...
I think the phone is with 2.3.6. but maybe 4.0
I've searched on xda, and other forums and some people managed to restore efs and edit "hex" in files to make the note work again, some other to repair using a .bak file (haven't got it), some other with "galaxy s unlock" from play store, and a shop in my town" can do it for 25€", and finally a guy from poland can take control of your PC to flash your phone for 10€ but all of these methods are not clear
So is it possible to repair this "efs thing" i don't know what else for free ? ( and i don't really care if this is not perfect, i just want to call/send texts) (and sorry for my english)

Please I need your HELP...!

I'm still with my broken SGS3 mini (GT-i8190) using it only for computer. I cannot make any call or something like that, so the internal signal doesn't work.
My phone broke about a year ago (IMEI null, not generic; Serial Number modificated; unknown baseband). This happended when I tried to flash the thirth time the ENOX ROM, and a couple of days after the phone begun to run slower, and 4 hours after (during the same day) the phone have frozen and didn't boot anymore.
Then I tried to flash (stocks ROM, stocks ROM with root, CM, Carbon ROM, etc...) and I cannot regenerate or recover the IMEI/SN/Baseband.
I have not any box to try to fix my phone, and I cannot buy one (a lot of money for me just now).
I thought that if it possible a thing, I would like to test but I don't know if it's possible.
I was thinking in take a entire EFS folder from other device SGS3 mini (same model, no L/N) and try to edit the files that contains the IMEI information and this thinks with hexadecimal editor. It would be possible? Or it's stupid try to do this? I don't know... **** (sorry).

Yes your EFS is broken. EFS is a partition and not just a folder You can backup a EFS from a another s3 mini and restore it to your one but you will get signal problems example WiFi because same MAC address) and the other s3 mini too. You should know the IMEI number is NOT saved in EFS partition, the real IMEI is saved in a hidden partition so it means you didn't lose your IMEI. But your IMEI security key code (it's saved in /efs>imei) is gone and it means you will never get access to your IMEI number again.

Thanks for all...
Imei is probably stored in CSPSA partition which is mmcblk0p9. I can see my serialnr in there and referees to modemfs, but the rest is encrypted.
I started to look at this a bit closer today to see if I can find out how this all is put together.(efs/modemfs/CSPSA).

Suddenly unknown IMEI/Baseband. Any solutions (w/o rooting)?

For the last month my wife has been using her new Tab S2 on WIFI only while vacationing abroad. Yesterday we got home and I inserted her sim into the tablet and she was able to connect via the LTE system and access the internet. This morning suddenly she could not access the internet via LTE. In the ABOUT tab the baseband is blank and the IMEI shows up as null. Nothing was installed nor were any updates received that I can tell. It seems clear that the EFS file is corrupted.
1. The information I have found (none of it from XDA) about repairing the problem all seem to assume a backup of the EFS file, which, of course I don't have.
2. Some require root, which I would prefer not to do, as the tablet is under warranty and don't want to void it.
3. There is an EFS Repair tool online, which is a bat file which tries to created a copy of the EFS file and then to have ODIN rewrite it. The backup phase fails with a message that there is no EFS file to backup. (It's not clear to me how backing up and then restoring a corrupt file would help anyway).
4. There is no access to the phones internal control panel via secret code, or the page that comes up is blank.
5. I tried a factory reset but it did not fix the problem.
Any help out there?
thanks

reflashing did not fix it. The baseband is still unknown and the imei is still null. (I must admit I was wondering where the stock rom was going to get the IMEI from during flashing).
Any other ideas, please?

You may need to send it back to Samsung to get it fixed they will be able to pull a log cat and see what happened.

4G is dead, QCN file needed

So i send my first RP2 to warranty because my proximity sensor was dead, it went good and Razer sent me a new device with UK branding (Three) after some time of using it I flashed global version, after this on 4G i don't have Internet connection I also can't send or receive any SMS, on 4G+ i need to wait some time to receive or send any SMS but mobile data work perfectly, 3G is working without any problem. I tried to change a SIM card and flash back UK version but problem still remain. I also tried using GSI without any success. Last thing i tried to do was make full backup in QPTS but it stops at 99%. Next i what i did was EFI and Modem backup in TWRP, after this i tried Rog Phone 2 QCN file just to see I can send it to my device via QPST fortunately it worked(of course because it was for Rog phone 2 i had no Imei or signal). After this i restore an TWRP backup with 'success' (Stil RIP 4G). So what i want to do is get QCN file, put my own IMEI and see if 4G is working again.
And of course, sorry for bad English.
Uhh just flash the three radio?

I don't think this phone have radio partition (at least it don't exist inside official RP2 images) I know about modem partition and I flashed it a lot of times (stock and three) without any success.

I originally ment modem, but I think the QCN file is part of the vendor partition, which i think if you modify will cause problems. I'm interested in how you change it as i'd like to do something similar to another phone.

I will send link in private message because XDA don't allow me to paste it here, there you can read about process of backup, restore and repair of qcn, it's not in a vendor partition because it stores a IMEI. (Razer phone 2, actually have 2 IMEI numbers)

Did you ever find a QCN file ?
my phone stopped seeing the network, I have tried different sim cards from my country and sometimes it finds the network and works (no 4g)...
but, If I insert a sim card from Digicel Panama it works great at LTE+ mode.
any suggestion ?

Sadly not and I never made it work. Thankfully my phone died shortly after I created this post, I got a refund and bought Pixel 3a that works without any major issues to this day.

Baseband + IMEI Unknown

Hello
I recently lost my s10 and now got my hands on a new one (exact same model)
I thought i was smart and restored a TWRP backup from the lost phone on the new one
I guess the mistake was that there was also the efs partition included in the backup
The rom (newest beyond) works without problems but the sim card is not recognized and baseband and IMEI both show unknown
so i flashed the original samsung firmware with odin but even then i have baseband and IMEI unknown
Did i just screw my new s10 or does anyone have an idea?
any help much appreciated
Anyone has an idea what I could try?
Or did I really kill my phone for good
My guess is that you may have wiped out the new phone specifics, such as IMEI and other things. I'm not sure if you can recover that in some way, or if you need to just find a way to get your old IMEI back. I would probably try to restore my old IMEI if I can (see if you can identify the old one from your carrier's website or something, for example).

I know the original imei, it's printed on the phone but how could i flash that to my phone? Seems to be impossible
There are ways, but they are not allowed to be discussed here on XDA. I've seen Youtube videos that cover it as well.
