I am not sure at 100%, but looking at GPU's benchmark scores - no.

Installed this just now on CM9 FXP125. It looks like it works, haven't seen any improvements yet.

What about gaming experiences? How's NOVA 3 and Max Payne running with these drivers? I'm now using GB coz those games were impossible to play on ICS! >.<

More interested to see if this helps with the hardware rendering issues in place on the phone so we can go back to using it (on software rendering right now for smoothness)

Playing on ICS impossible? You mean Xperia arc/S? For me, gaming experience icreases on ICS because of smoothness of playing... Without overclocking you won't play in anything - that's truth. Flashing Arc-Knight Kernel and overclocking to 1,6 GHz is enough! It brings better efficiency than DoomKernel.

In Quadrant Advanced/Standard improvement is damned visible. I am actually on JJ's Hybrid v3.1. There is no changelog for the drivers. The only information about them I can give you is that they were fixed by XDA members. Before the fix they caused camera bug.

Wait, is this the same driver as the topic in ray Development? better improve or same?

All Adreno ARM v7 have the same drivers.

[ROM][4.2.2] Mackay rom reloaded (03-12-13)

This ROM is based on the awesome work of kasper_h with some improvements on stabilty and the latest source from CM, so it's pretty close to stock.
Kernel is the mackay kernel updated to latest 3.0.y linux branch, with some improvements from the stock one.
Improvements/fixes:

App2sd fixed (init procedure adapted from galaxy sl rom)
General code cleanup
Triple buffering for smoother animations
Enabled WebGL
Increased powervr buffer size (powervr.ini from Eviscerations velox rom)
Charger suspend implementation to turn off screen in charger mode
Proximity sensor on call screen fixed
Other minor performance tweaks in Boardconfig, init...
(patches mostly taken from galaxy s/sl CM rom)
Kernel:
Kernel patched to latest 3.0.101
Included lots of patches from the latest LG kernel sources
Full wipe is necessary since the mountpoint and procedure of the sdcard is changed!

- Video recording is crappy as usual... (if someone is interested in helping to port the camera hal, please let me know)

Install:
If you have mackay rom or another cm10.1 based rom => full wipe!
Flash with with CWM or TWRP recovery, then flash the gapps on top.

Factory reset is required or you will end up with double folders in your gallery and other strange things..

Update: somehow i got the lg camera hal working, previews are working fine, but the capturing doesn't trigger, settings (white balance, exposure...) don't take effect, no autofocus and the image is blueish.
strangely video recording works fine

Hmm. Good work mate. I am happy with CM10 build but if you get the camera to normal, i will try your ROM. By normal i mean CM standards, i don't have high expectations.

and by cm standards i hope you mean p970 standards and not galaxy s standards
seriously the lg camera hal is nothing for ordinary mortals like me... a lot of features are controlled by the fw3a binaries and icapture lib, and i can't find the sources for them anywhere.
btw the camera in my build works, just on hd video recording sometimes it freezes and has low framerates (usual p970 standard )
as i remember well this bug was also present on cm10, correct me if i'm wrong

Ah, ok then mate. I thought camera was troubled. If it is normal CM quality on P970 then i will try it when i have the phone empty for couple of days. I don't care much about video, a decent photo quality is enough for me, in case i need it. Thanks.

at least photo capturing works just like on stock rom.

The answer is no !!!
Not need advanced knowledge to fix the problem, and today I decided to share with you all, for years the good old logic has helped me a lot (very much)!
If anyone wants to know what the problem was I can post in the comments, as I leave more for my job called Adreno Booster Alpha:

problem:
Tweak did not put the file "adreno_config.txt" in the folder "/ data / local / tmp", it meant that he did not work! Another problem is said with respect to the compression of textures, they caused closing of apps and games that have 3D graphics, I had to remove!
Now everything is settled (at least on the operation) !!!
bugs:
No apparent put new settings that should help performance!
Remember that more is in Alpha phase (There is no guarantee that do a miracle in performance), I intend to pass on this creative project team they should know what to do! Who could help me get in touch thank you!
If you do not believe what I tell you propose to do the following:
Place the following command:
FPSCap = 5
This will limit the FPS of the device (Nothing stopped preucupar because Adreno Installing Booster Alpha will remove it, or doing Wipe, or deleting the files that were installed!).
Put this in the Old Adreno Booster and see if it gets results!
Now put this in Adreno Booster Alpha and see the difference !!!

Anyone tested it yet? I used a lot of ROM's till now. But faced the same annoying problem. Audio and video doesn't sync in any app. Youtube or instagram or vine doesnt matter. Also couldnt sign in some of my social apps. Im not gonna wait for someone to test this, now downloading files. I will make a little test for myself and will write the results in 2 days.

Actually, flashing with fastboot is easier than installing via TWRP so it isn't in my plans to provide full system flashable ZIP's, probably only some small updates.

I'm building a new CyanogenMod from source so I hope it will work for you. But you can try that build.prop setting that I've told you before.

Overclocked to 4250Mhz and I got good battery life like 16 hours (THIS US ONLY TESTED ON NAMELESS) it should work on other roms but just saying and ANDROID 12 only I'll try to keep it updated with nameless updates but updates will stop when they switch kernel if they do. CREDITS: Nameless AOSP Maintainer For the 8T and the IllusionX team

I thought you said detected as rooted because this kernel is prerooted and with magisk Manager you can unroot

Modded IllX And -44Mhz is a glitch because somehow android cant handle so 4250Mhz also thank you for the nice messages ill figure out how to get the sources so i hope XDA doesnt delete this
