Question Brightness "issue" - OPPO Find X3 Pro

Hello. I seem to have an issue with the brightness. Even when on max, white colors look yellowish. Like there's a yellow tint or filter. However when I open certain apps, for example my homebanking app, when I press the Fingerprint button to read the fingerprint, the brightness instantly goes back to max and with a vibrant white. As soon as I enter the app, that yellow "filter" comes back.
Generally it has that yellow look on the whole phone, but like I said, when I open certain apps it boosts to that bright white, but then returns back to the yellow look. Its like there is a sudden change of brightness and then returns back to "normal" yellow filtered look.
Is this a bug?

Disable "conforto ocular" and "Tom natural".

Very faint horizontal lines on white background?

If you go into your settings menu, do you see very faint horizontal lines across the screen on the white background? They're very dim, but if you look closely with high brightness they're there on my phone. If you can, check yours and let me know if it's supposed to be like that.
Thanks.

[Q] Pink/purple hue on text when scrolling. Fixed with white balance app?

Hi everyone,
I have noticed when scrolling especially high contrast text (white on black or vice versa) there is a pinkish purplish tint/hue ghosting after the text.
This probably happens on only JDC panels.
But when you root->install White Balance settings and enter the setting menu even if you dont apply any changes and return back this problem disappears. If you reboot problem comes back. Opening white balance setting again fixes it until next reboot.
I am suspecting that white balance apk somehow changes refresh rate of panel and fixes the problem. If the problem is refresh rate/ response time of the panel ofc.
Anyone else also noticed this?

[q] background showing yellow instead of white when accessing camera

I noticed that when I am using the camera, eventhough the light is good but still the background shows yellow. I tried pointing to a white background and tried to capture that picture but I found that instead of white the background is becoming yellow. Is the camera not good or do I need to change any light effects for camera.I am using the Auto mode. Please help.
It's because Superior Mode. Use Manual settings and change White Balance.

i think u have played with some option from the developer mode go there and try to turn things off and see how that goes
if not then a factory reset could do something for u if its a developer option thing

Firstly what firmware version you on? Maybe more details would help
1. I don't get a screen full of green, but the screen is slightly brightened with a greenish brightness. I assume this is the issue. Most phones (inc Oneplus phones) with optic FPS do this as the bright green FPS light also partly turns on other oled pixels. Some other manufacturers lower the brightness of the finger print sensor light, which then has the effect of inaccurate print reads. I dunno, I like how fast the FPS unlocks the phone, its one of the quickest - if the slightly brightened screen is the sacrifice, I'm ok with that :good:
2. I can't replicate this
3. I can't replicate this
4. Why do you need to disable these core google apps?
5. Red tint is hardware - its been slightly improved with the latest WW-16.0631.1910.35 firmware, but this oled screen has a dominant red gamut - every oled screen has a dominant colour (either blue, red or green) so just have to deal with it. :good:

Rare screen effect

Hi, I wanted to ask if you guys, have the same effect on your screen. It happens to me only when I'm in low light situations, and it's like, the dark colors, like, mix together with the color that was before in the place that is now the dark color. Only happens when I move any dark/black content on my phone, fast, or not to very fast, but no slow. The best way to see this effect is on dark mode, and on the status bar. Take a reference the white part of your brightness slider. Then, you moove up and down your statusbar, and if you can see it, you'll see like, the dark part of the brightnes slider, shrinks when it's moving (taking as a mark the thickness of the white part of the brightness slider). At first, I thought that this was like a system effect (animation), but then, I saw it on a photo, the same effect, so I think that my screen is defective. I upload a video in slow motion for a better look, and to understand me. Also, I forget to say, but in the video you won't notice it, but, the part that shrinks on the brightness slider, it color, slightly changes to a blueish color.

I don't quite understand what do you mean. But for my mi 9 lite, when the screen is all black and only has a few places of lighted up areas, those pixels seems to last a bit longer after it had brightened up.
Idk if that's just what AMOLED does.
This is normal for OLED screens, i have seen same effect on Samsung Galaxy S3 - S9, Nexus and OnePlus phones. Black = off pixels. When they turn from black to something else, they need to turn on. This causes a delay, which leads to the blurry purple affect. It can be slightly annoying but the colors, saturation and contrast outweight the con's IMO, i dont see myself coming back to IPS.
It also happens to me in the Mi 9 Lite. It seems to be some technology used on the screen.
