[Q] Nvidia GTX965M overclocking issue after Windows update. - NVIDIA

Before the latest Windows update i've never had any problem overclocking my GPU. It even stays cool (under 70 Celsius, mostly around 60C, with peaks to 65C) because the cooling from the Alienware laptops is just really good.
My preferred overclock is +135Mhz Core and +400MHz Memory because it's stable, cool and has no artifacts. It usually gives between 5-10FPS, depending on the game.
Now, since the last major Windows 10 update, right after i hit the checkmark in Afterburner to implement the OC, sometimes is instant, sometimes is after 30-60 seconds, the following error appears, either Windows just freezes.

Does anyone know what i should do? Should i try DISM? (It has an OEM Windows licence with Alienware branding everywhere, does DISM affect those?)

Has a pretty nice zoom feature and the option to use either a 1 or 5 minute check interval.
This is a screen shot of only tetherWiFi running. Looks like I get about and hour and a half before the battery goes dead. Time to hook up the usb lol
I installed this few hours ago and now a update aviable pops up already, is it a paid app or not?
nah it's still free, it used to force close when you started it on while hooked to usb. this update appears to have fixed that.

SU binary update problem / Force close problem

1) So yeah as you can see, i have the problem with SU binary updating, i don't know if it's good or bad, i only know that it's annoying.
So i'm trying to update, it downloads manifests and things, and then tries to check installed version, and it takes forever, one night i left it updating, woke up and still it wasn't updated.

2)Okay so i tried to overclock cpu, at 787 it's restarting after ~15 minutes or so.
It's kinda stable at 768mhz, so i left it like that when i'm gaming, BUT, i don't know if it's with overclocking, i very often, like in every games gameplay get "FORCE CLOSE" log, and almost all the time some kinda "call log" force close. (something like com. .... and then calllog.)
So i wondered, could i delete it, or there will be new windows that will force closing.
Thanks
Same here though I'm not on OC.

High CPU usage on "standby", how to detect the culprit?

For a while my CPU usage is kinda high on "standby", around 50% on average to be a little more precise. And what I mean by "standby" is doing nothing on the foreground, even after just booting. In other words, nothing on the background besides all background services from all my apps, of course.
But one question I have is, shouldn't I be able to see which process exactly is eating my CPU? Because I can't seem to figure that out... Here's two screenshots from this app, one from the CPU usage and the other from the top apps using CPU. Something doesn't make sense here...

I'm running MaximusHD 33 and ElementalX 14. I know I haven't updated in a while, but surely some app/service should have a higher CPU usage on that screenshot so I can pinpoint the culprit, even if it's the "system".

I also have the same problem
I also have the same problem
I also have that effect. One way to make it less visible is using Screen Balance (the app is in the Play Store).
My config: I have it set in Tint (it is in Color Mode that is in the options). Then, on the main page, it is in Fluorescent and in Strenght 5%. I recommend removing battery optimization and blocking it in multitasking, to avoid closing (sometimes it happens anyway).
