Question Which services/system apps are needed for google timeline history - Redmi Note 11 (spes/spesn)

Does anyone know which services/systems apps need to be running for google timeline history to work? I have limited data and battery usage on most things and it seems something is stopping google location history from working properly. Any suggestions?

[Q] Loss of sync toggle-ability on update?

I received, despite my best efforts, a system update this weekend.
AFAIK, before the update I was able to individually turn off sync services. For example, I disable sync to google contacts and calendar.
I have a syncml server at my office, and I set up my users with smartphones to sync to that using synthesis. I have found that when both google and syncml services are active my users (and me) get duplicate contact and calendar entries.
I am pretty sure that I had that turned off on my droid 3 before the update.
So I was surprised to find that the little toggles in the individual services under my google account were no longer there, and google services were happily syncing away. I suddenly found myself with three times the contacts I had on Friday night.
Has anyone else seen this change?

[Q] Google Location History

Hi,
Google have recently closed their Latitude API. Does anyone know if it is still possible to record your location on Windows Phone? I would really like to get a Lumia 1020, but Location History is quite important to me. A non-Google solution would be acceptable if it still has a way to retrieve the data.

As a user of CM13, What is the minimum privileges set for built-in Apps in Privacy Guard that still allows Google apps like Calendar, Contacts, etc. keep working fine?
Recently I've restricted Apps' access to location and Internet to as least as possible and now my Calendar and Contacts not synchronizing anymore! It seems Google Play Services needed access to location to allow its apps working! When I do allow sync proceeds!!! Is this right?
Anyone has come up with a minimum list of apps with least data access?

Can't receive push msgs, help please?!

Got a China version model number PFFM20.
Managed to have Google Play installed and had essential apps installed. Google Map, Google Pay, banking apps, etc all working fine. However, tried many email apps, Gmail, Spark, Eddison Mail, etc. none of them will receive emails unless you open up the app and refresh.
Thought was battery saving issue. Turned off all battery saving options and allowed auto lauch and background activity, still wouldn't receive emails...
Anyone has the same issue?
BTW, I'm in Australia.
Thanks in advance.
