Hi,
I just got a new Galaxy Tab S8+ (SM-X800) from Samsung.com in the US.
For some reason it got Cellular South (XAR) CSC. I want to change to a European one (ILO is slow, so I want EUX).
I just want to check whether there are any difficulties making the switch from a US to an EU CSC? It's not a phone, and its the same model number, so I think there shouldn't be any. Just want to be sure.
Second question is about the process itself: just get the EUX firmware and flash through ODIN? It will make the change and allow OTAs to continue normally?

That software was so easy!
And it even keeps all data. Perfect.
I will now just wait to get an OTA, and if that works I will also change my phone's CSC which I'm sooo lazy to do because I thought it requires wiping all data.

OTA came right away. Changed on my phone as well. I highly recommend this tool

Huawei has stopped support for unlocking bootloaders, so the only way at the moment is to use those third-party services and pay the cost of the service. No other methods known at the moment.

Not completely true.
If you have a P8 lite, you can (first and foremost backup ALL your data) rollback to the first Android version provided with the phone (if I remember well Android 5), use then one of the tons of one-click-root tools and follow what written here https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8...e-method-unlocking-bootloader-t3799294/page12
You can later manage to update again to Android 6 or use a custom ROM
It worked well for me

download firmware with CSC INS from sammobile.
Once downloaded using 7zip unzip it.
There will be 6 flies.
You must only use:
HOME_CSC_OMC_ODM_G780FODM8CUK1_CL22470724_QB45545976_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
Open ODIN and put your phone in download mode.
Upload CSC only: HOME_CSC_OMC_ODM_G780FODM8CUK1_CL22470724_QB45545976_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
Flash and after the restart you will have in the phone application the recording of the calls.

On which version of bootloader did u try on ??
My s20FE is the original, no root, no bootloader unlocked etc etc...

I have an SM-G998B/DS, which was bought closed carrier unlocked, but with a firmware from Vodafone (Comes with 3 Vodafone apps which are easy to uninstall). Also the Active CSC code = ATL.
I am from Spain, so I wanted to flash the firmware with the one which says PHE, thi sone in particular

Hi
Changing the active CSC is not as easy as it use to be, before just flashing the correct firmware and booting the phone with the right SIM was enough
There are a couple of options using a dialer code , myself i used that method to change from GTO to PHE , I see you have the latest firmware I do not think they will work anymore , you can try if you want check here
If that does not work your only option without root is samkey ( pay)

I recently got my phone serviced from Samsung and ever since the device is at EUX firmware. I tried flashing INU , DBT and XSA firmware, all these are showing EUX. Only exception is XID (Indonesian Firmware).

the only way is via samkey , buy credit and change csc .
but u must be on EUX not XID if u want to use samkey.
XID have native call record , but late late to get every software update.

Found a seller on ebay, Am still waiting to get it .I'll let you know after I get the credits.
So i currently have BTU csc on my phone,i already tried flashing AUT,EUR and SEE firmware and csc still remains on BTU.
I tried flashing another csc package,omw,with peru firmware,it changed to some firmware in that package but not peru one. So it is possible to change. I then tried flashing eur and still got btu. How can i make it change to one i want?
