However - I did spend quite some time researching following question before posting (puts on asbestos suit anyway as sensible precaution...)
I like the Smart Dialer feature. I use Microsoft Business Contact Manager extensively for my work. Smart Dialer does not (by default anyway) access the BCM contact list. Is there any way to make Smart Dialer work with my BCM contacts?
I have used PocketMirror (which works) but I prefer to keep my biz contacts seperate from the default contacts, plus that is an unsatisfying hack, imho.

One strong rule about my ROM with Manila
If you use themes for Manila or you modified Manila files or top bar icons and after that you have problems with Manila or top bar...DON'T TELL ME ABOUT THAT!!!IT IS NOT MY ROM PROBLEM!!!I WON'T HELP YOU!!!YOU SHOULD TELL ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM WHERE YOU TAKE THEMES OR ICONS FOR TOP BAR!!!

You have to flash new HardSPL 1.56 or use USPL 2.5 with SPL 1.56 to flash this ROM

Let me tell you guys, I've been testing onkolog's 6.5 versions. Compared to the others on the board, this is the fastest and most reliable. I won't be going back to 6.1. Just a week ago I didn't think there was anyway I upgrade to 6.5 - becase everything I'd tried up to that point sucks - Then, along comes the ROM master, onkolog and changes me forever.

WKTask works...but with colors in the top bar problem(((You can install and you'll see that...It's problem in WKTask...I included default Task Manager in ROM...(in both ROMs)

do you know the movie "Desparate HTC Touch Pro Owner"... ? It's the movie of which I am the heroe. I have tried many solutions, in vain...
I have chosen the HTC Houch Pro among other models specially for its wonderful French integral keyboard. I am an information officer, I send tens and tens of SMSs / emails a day, and the HTC Touch Pro has the best French integral keyboard among competitors (Xperia X1...).
And I am also in a dire need for recording calls, as I often deal with sensitive issues.
Unfortunately, none of the softwares I have used or even purchased (NCH TRx Phone Recorder which I bought; Auto Call recorder 1.2.1; Vito Audio Notes Touch - wonderful user itnerface) works on my HTC Touch Pro. It only records my voice, but not that of my correspondent.
Any assistance / solution would be really appreciated.

works like a charm. my experience with the tp1 is that the caller side is a little soft, but everything can be heard properly.
I have installed ACR 1.2.1, but no sound from the caller side, or so weak that I think it is routed through the device's mike.

Chawki, I have just installed ACR 1.2.1 for the first time, and tested it out. It seems to work flawlessly (albeit quality was a bit low).
According to the ACR thread on XDA, if you're having issue hearing the other party, then it's because it's not setup to record both incoming and outgoing calls. According to the thread, it may not be working correctly due to an outdated ROM.

You do not have to get a custom ROM in order to get ACR to work. According to the thread, you simply need an updated stock ROM.
Here is the link to HTC France's support page for the Touch Pro: http://www.htc.com/fr/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=140&act=sd&cat=all
You can find the ROM update there and ACR should work fine afterwards. Best wishes.
