Question how to relock the bootloader? - OnePlus 10 Pro

hi guys ,
i want to make my oneplus 10 pro 2213 model back to store condition
how can i lock the bootloader?
i cant find any answer anywhere and im not sure if fastboot enhancer is the solution
my device is fully work btw
thanks

it's highly recommended that you don't do that. Most of the devices I've seen get brincked in that operation.
But if you wanna proceed with that, you have to flash the stock image back again, there must be no changed image (boot, recovery, system...).
And then you can run the command "fastboot flashing lock"

what about msm tool
anyway to do that with the tool ?

There is no tool current available to O10PRO, all there is require username and password.
A lot of people, myself included, are waiting for a msm tool so we can fix our devices.

OK
so if my bootloader is unlocked any problem for gpay ota ect?

It may not work .. Netflix doesn't work for example. Gpay as I don't use can't say for sure

No unlocking the bootloader will not effect gpay or any other banking app. Now if you are rooted then yes gpay and banking apps will not work. You will have to use Magisk to fix that.

Well I'm not sure

That could be the difference between the 2213 and 2215. I got my 15 from OnePlus carrier unlocked. That's the first thing I did was unlock the bootloader. Now my gpay, paypal and my banking apps all work. I'm not rooted yet I'm just waiting on a full rom update to get the boot.img. But I see that OnePlus is going to post oxygenOS 13 today. I might check it out. OnePlus has really done a number to the 10 this time. As for as Netflix I think there is a thread in here some place.

Hi guys
Anything new in the MSM tools?
Or maybe any other way to lock the bootloader?

look on GitHub for fastboot enhanced works really great as long your in de bootloader you can do every command with just a click i was thinking on doing that my self to but then i saw something's what i want to try out and there is also a fastboot ROM in the forums maybe that you help you too

Thanks !
I will read about that!

i have the same question.
I have a NE2213, unlocked and rooted and now want to sell it.
So my plan was to uninstall Magisk with all Modules, do a factory reset, update to NE2213_11_A.16 and then relock the bootloader.
since i am only rooted with stock rom - the only changed image should be the boot.img which will be stock after i update zo A.16.
Should be right, isnt it?
since my only other option ist to contact the support for a online MSM-Tool, which i need to do anyways when it does not work - i would give it a try...

Fastboot commands for restoring to stock worked for me.
OnePlus 10 Pro Fastboot ROMs (and how to make for any device)
First of all and most importantly, I want to say that this is not my work. This is a port of the work done by @abhinavgupta371 and @HELLBOY017 for the OP9RT. I merely made sure there weren't extra or missing files and edited the .bat and .sh...

FYI - Was able to lock the bootloader on my OP 10T, A.06 Oxygen OS.

Android Pay on rooted Mi Mix? Possible?

Hi Mi Mix fans!
Does anybody know how to run Android Pay on rooted Mi Mix?
I have tried Xposed + Rootcloak and it doesn't work...
Is there anybody who run Android Pay on Mi Mix with unlocked bootloader and root installed?
Even restore an app with the configured data doesn't work. After the app is started Android Pay clear the settings and want me to set up the payments cards again. Then after click on "Add card" it displays the message "You cannot run Andoid Pay on this device, because root...." etc. etc.
Any help will be very appreciated!

Does SultanXDA also remove the other security requirements of android pay? Last I tried android pay it says, either I have unlocked bootloader, custom firmware or device is rooted.
Also, my company requires me to use MobileIron's suite of apps for email and such. It won't activate w/ Root and also usb debugging (WTF). If any of you guys are in IT and have the ability to recommend software, stay away from that POS.

I think you would need to hide root as well with suhide or an equivalent.
the unlocked bootloader is the most important piece here, once that's done the rest is easy.

Sure I read will on work on stable China ROM,
Not always though Google signed the stable ROM but not Dev.
I'm on China stable just tried it and said bootloader unlocked, which is true.

Over on reddit, I was chatting with someone who was using Android Pay on his Mi Mix straight out the box but it was a vendor ROM. He flashed one of the official ROMs and it stopped working but that was because he'd unlocked his bootloader in the process.
After trial and error (and nearly bricking his phone), the conclusion was that it will work on the China Stable ROM, provided your bootloader is locked and you're not rooted.
I'm going to switch back to stable and re-lock my bootloader this weekend to see if it works for me.

I got a feeling that it works only when Google had approved of the rom. When I flash the china stable when I got my phone, it was newly updated and hence not approved by Google yet.

Seems to have worked - at least it let me set up a card etc.
Just need to use it to pay for something for 100% confirmation but I doubt it'll be an issue.
Downside is, I'd forgotten how China-y the Stable firmware is after using the Xiaomi.eu ROM.
OK, final update.
The app works on China Stable up to the point when you try to make a payment, that has never worked for me - it simply doesn't interact with the POS system.
Android Pay was about the only reason to go stock, IMO. Given it doesn't work, I'll probably switch back to Xiaomi.eu.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Unlock security risks

Hi everyone,
I've recently unlocked my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 that came with the chinese rom so that I could install the global rom.
I've been using it for a while and when I opened a banking app, I get the following message:
Warning
It seems your device has had unauthorized modifications to its operating system. Using this device for your banking could compromise the security of your personal information.
I didn't think unlocking the phone would be this much of a risk. I don't understand too much about the technology behind this so I wanted to see if anyone could explain whats happening and if I should refund my phone.
Thanks!

You are probably using the global dev rom which doesn't pass Safetynet for various reasons. You shouldn't have any issues with the global stable rom.
Don't listen to the guy above. Flash Global Stable ROM if you haven't already and lock your bootloader. From then on all will be good.

I said pretty much exactly the same thing as you?
It won't matter whether he uses Dev or Stable if his bootloader is left unlocked. He needs both Global Stable and a locked bootloader.

U don't need to lock the bootloader to get it to work, I'm on the global ROM with unlocked bootloader - safety net passes.
It also passes on Xiaomi EU ROM with unlocked bootloader. Just flash one of those ROMs, install magisk, and set magisk to hide.

I am running Miui 9 global with unlocked bootloader and rooted with Magisk 14.3 and it passes safetynet and Android pay works just fine.
Guys, I know this is XDA but come on. Guy just wants a working phone without the hassle. He didn't ask for root or methods to bypass Safetynet with Magisk! Locking bootloader on an official Global Stable ROM is all he needs.

+1, installing magisk is definitely the easier fix. Won't need to wipe data or anything
@ssojyeti2, locking bootloader doesn't wipe data. Stop spreading misinformation. Also how is it easier if you have to flash (or at least boot TWRP) and then flash Magisk zip? To lock BL you need to run one command (fastboot oem lock) and you're done.

Well said. I just got my phone and it's on the Chinese rom. I'm not a rom/flash xda member and I'm leaving my phone on the Chinese rom and stock. Bloat removed or frozen already with a 1.5gb update pending for download tonight (a nice option miui gave me) and a smaller update installed as I switched on the phone. I intend to keep this phone for a few years and I'm not f*cking with anything.
Gapps installed and working perfectly, including contacs sync which was an issue at some point. I haven't tried nfc yet but everything works including irrelevant apps asking for nfc access (lol). Nah, I'll stick with the Chinese rom until there's a compelling reason to change it.

Root honor 9n? A mystery yet to be solved by magisk

I bought honor 9n but can find anu root method. Pls if presnt im simple steps,
You first have to unlock your bootloader, but Huawei is no longer giving those unlock codes out
Sent from my H1611 using Tapatalk
Honor/Huawei completely locked their botloader and it is impossible to root or tweak them.
Depending on which huawei devices and which firmware, you can still be able to unlock, for now, using alternative paying service.

yes, this is true.
i'm on Nova 2s, same thing happen on me after i flash latest upate (Patch01), magisk is not working.
although when i check, my bootloader is still unlocked, that is a small good news.
when i check and compare older and latest kernel.img and ramdisk.img, they've made a couple changes in them, maybe seniors will find out how to workaround this and we will have root again!

Is there any way to make it L1, as WideVine DRM is L3 in DRM Info (bootloader locked)

My Bootloader was unlocked at first with Beta Verizon of Android 10 installed, so sure it would be L3 with bootloader unlocked.
But, then I found a way on XDA to lock the bootloader back by downgrading to Android 9 Pie, from link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5z/help/how-to-lock-bootloader-t4031603
So, this successfully relocked my bootloader and then I upgraded back to Android 10 stable version. Then after upgrading back to Android 10, I did hard reset once. But still when I download the DRM Info App, it still says WideVine L3, with bootloader locked and latest Android 10 Version of the ZenUI installed
Plus here I found one user (dip7g) stating that he did lock bootloader back and got L1 back, but never stated how. Link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5z/help/relocking-bootloader-netflix-hd-t3982629
If any one can help me with getting L1 back, it would be great as I would be giving away this cell phone to my little brother, who likes to stream Prime and Netflix a lot.
I have also attached the Screenshots of the bootloader, DRM Info and About Phone.
Thanks a lot, in advance.

Hi! Did you relock the bootloader before booting into the rom? I am no expert and this is my first dual slot and relocked android, but I started off with by installing Oreo
(Name of file was WW_ZS620KL_80.30.96.111_MR2_20180921002943_release-user.raw.zip)
despite the instructions saying to use pie. After installing, I booted into fastboot again and relocked the bootloader before having android start (I can't remember if I had to use a fastboot command to switch slots or not). I then started android and drm info said I had Widevine L1, and after manually updating with the fota links, l am still sporting widevine L1. If you update using the the links like I did, 100.04.44.98 to 100.10.107.36 was leading to a 404 and I went through the post and used a full install zip posted sometime February this year. Hope this somehow helps and good luck!

Well, I am not sure if it's tied to your bootloader or not. I saw some people talking about some of the earlier releases of android 10 causing the google play certifications being messed up. Here is a link for someone mentioning this issue:

I'm not sure if you would just need to wipe your data or unlock and relock again. All I can say is I came from Resurrection Remix, used those files, and it worked. I wish I knew more but I am not a developer

I'm the unlucky one I guess l, still the same.
And yes one thing I noticed I was unable to change slot/partition after installing latest Asus USB drivers and latest ADB as well. Everything else worked in fast boot except "--set-active=" command
It was showing up as "unknown operation"

Maybe there are multiple ways of doing this, but I think I did mine by using "fastboot set_active A" Maybe you should update your platform tools if they dont work. I think someone posted an updated version with support for dual slot phones in the twrp install thread. I am a bit crunched for time rn as I just got up and have stuff due tonight.
Thank you bro. I tried everything latest platform tools, driver update, unlocking relocking. but still it is stuck in L3
Still error while trying to change slot/partition
Bootloader is locked, latest Android 10 fota. Still no luck.
So I finally decided to give up trying.
But I highly appreciate your support. Thanks man.

Just install the universal safety net fix module for Magisk and systemless, click on zygisk as well.

If you have root right now. You need to go to magisk and tap unistall. Then full uninstall. Phone will reboot. Just to be safe. Then you can lock the bootloader.
