Question Data usage and battery are set to 0B or 0,00% under App Info - Redmi Note 11 (spes/spesn)

Hi together
Does anyone have any idea why all of my apps under "App Info" have 0B for the "Data Usage" entry and 0.00% for the "Battery" entry?
Obviously I have turned off something somewhere in the settings or set too restrictive???
The apps are used, which means that the 0B or 0.00% values cannot be correct.
I am very, very grateful for any tips!
Best
Seashanty

Did you make a debloat to your phone?
Did you disable com.miui.daemon using ADB?

No debloat and under 'Autoriesing and revocation' I switched off "msa" only. 'MIUI Daemon' is on.

[Q] Error message: "turn on background data" followed by wrong instructions?

[Q] Error message: "turn on background data" followed by wrong instructions?
I keep getting this curious error message "Turn on background data" accompanied by generic instructions as to possible ways this should be done. Which dont seem to apply to the Galaxy S3.
My unit indeed doesnt seem to scan constantly for emails or gmails unless I go to the program and tell it to do so. And it has just started telling me that I can't access the play store unless I enable background data.
I was just moved by t-mobile from a 200 meg plan to a 3 gig plan and I can't remember whether I ever disabled background data to reduce usage or to prevent anonymous tracking in some way. So I am not sure if turning it off is a disadvantage or a security feature? Or possibly some way of preventing Angry Birds from sending me incessant adverts when my young offspring demand my phone to play this game?
I certainly cant remember how I did this, assuming I was aware of doing it!
Does anyone know how to turn on background data and whether having it on is a good thing or a bad thing please?
Go to settings>data usage tap menu button, you should find a restrict background data button..untick it...
And about background data restriction,it's pros and cons completely depends on your usage..if you restrict the background data,no data's ( no means 0 bites ) can be used by Any app until you open it in foreground..its a life saver for those who have planned there data usage for every app they use...but if you are a free minded android user, and want to get everything from your device, you might not restrict your background data..
But it will cost a little (sometimes even more) datas without asking for your permission!

Actually that was why I posted: When I Go to settings>data usage and tap menu button, I find a restrict background data button which is unticked. There IS no restriction of which i am aware, so I wondered where it is on the T-Mobile Galaxy 'skin'?

Ahh I think you have restricted the background data for google play store or play services individually.
Go to data usage and tap on google apps like play store, play services etc.there is a restrict background data option for each app..make sure they are unticked..
If this doesn't help,I think I can't help you further..

This is indeed an odd one:I had checked that as well and restrict data isnt checked there either!
However, as to the immediate problem at hand, thanks for the advice: Is IS checked for the play store.
And maybe this is useful, to know that you can restrict background data for programs like angry birds?

Yep it's possible to restrict background data for all app particularly..
and if you find that restricting and unrestricting it from settings is a bit annoying, you might try apps like android firewall..they are too good to control your data usage.. but root permission required!

Auto Turn off Apps

Hi guys,
I have my MI 5 a few days I'm happy with it and now I'm testing it
So today I was running and I used Endomodo for save my workout
It use GPS to Record where and how much you run but when I finish it had nothing and I had some message like that "you are losing gps sign maybe your system kill this process to save battery see you settings"
I was tried to change my settings but I see nothing for it.. somebody know what I need to change?
I dont have any other program for battery or to kill apps
Cheers
Apps like Endomondo requires continuous location access, change Settings->Additional Settings->Battery & Performance->Manage apps' battery usage->Choose Apps->Endomondo->No restrictions + Allow background location.

Unlocked S10+ apps not refreshing in background?

Hey guys I have an issue with my new phone. For some reason I cannot get my Honeywell T6 geofencing to work unless I put the app in the foreground. I've also noticed I don't get any notifications until several hours later for my apps and Gmail. I checked all these apps and they have background data enabled and I don't have the data saver on either. Any ideas??
Here's a few things to try:
Go to Settings -> Device care -> Battery
Select the 3 dots in the upper right and select Settings -> Sleeping apps
Verify the apps you have trouble with aren't listed in there.
Then, from the main settings screen go to Apps.
Find one of the apps you're having trouble with and tap on it (or just select any app you wish).
Select Battery -> Optimize battery usage
Change the drop-down from "Apps not optimized" to "All".
Verify that the apps you have issues with are not enabled.
I had this same exact problem with mine. The only way I would be able to get app notifications to come through was to reboot and everything would come flooding in. I tried the app sleeping apps thing but there was only about 5 apps in there, and out of all the apps I was missing notifications from only one of them was in there. The problem went away on its own though. Not a single clue as to what was going on or causing the issue.
The second part fixed my issues! Thanks!!!! I was scratching my head wondering what was going on! Once I disabled the honeywell it instantly recognized that I was within the geofence (ive been home for 20mins now)and started up my furnace!

Question Android Auto on Mi11

hi all,
I've spent some time trying to fix Android Auto on the Mi11 - all works fine for a few minutes then it quits as if killed by the Xiaomi battery management.
The trouble is, because Android Auto isn't listed as an app any more, I can't make it exempt from the battery management rules.
If I got into the app battery saver menu for example, and select 'show system apps' it doesn't show in the list.
It shoes under 'Manage apps' but permissions already show that it's allowed to keep the phone awake.
Any ideas please?
thanks in advance
Chuck on a custom rom. Works great.

Question How to keep downloads alive during sleep?

MiUI constantly closes and stops downloads after 30 minutes after the phone has gone to sleep.
This happens not just to browsers, but even the actual Play Store. What gives?
I've already gone into app settings and disabled battery saver (set it to "No restrictions") and allowed background data in the data usage settings.
There's a setting called "Restrict data usage" and you can select WiFi and mobile data. If you deselect both (so neither are restricted) the app cannot access the Internet. So you have to restrict them for it to work.
Someone said to go into developer settings and turn off MiUI optimisation. That option isn't available in MiUI 14.
I am using stock MiUI 14.0.2.0 TKDMIXM (Global).
