Question how to ROOT redmi note 10 pro (Miui Global)13.0.10 - Redmi Note 10 Pro

I've checked youtube and some online articles, but almost ROOT is limited to MIUI 12 or MIUI 13.0.5 or below, if anyone is sure of rooting my system, please share the corresponding youtube link or the corresponding online article
I'm in a hurry and need it very much. If you can help me find it, please let me know as soon as possible,[email protected]

Advice in this case.
Don't root if you are in a hurry
Bootloader unlock is at least 7 days waiting
Backup before and restore after format is again a couple of hours
Brick is a couple of weeks or papermate

@Elinx is right.
It seems you're a newbie so be carefully and not hurry
Better read the root threads and follow step by step!

I don't have any data and can format at any time,
I hope to achieve ROOT as soon as possible, Maybe 7 days can also wait or over 7 days,
I was wondering if there is an exact way?
Of course, I also hope that it will not become a brick,
Why should I root?
Because I'm very disgusted with the monitoring and security software that comes with the mobile phone system, I don't need these software and management, I am use to assured of Google's management, and don't need mobile phone security App,

I've read somewhere that removing miui security app will break your OS, so make backup before.

There is a lot of information how to unlock and root your Xiaomi device.
So I won't give you a detailed guide.
- Start with bootloader unlock
- While waiting 7 days, study how to go further and download everything you need.
- Like ADB, Twrp or Orangefox, Magisk, Custom rom and optional Gapps
...................... Studying before next actions is necessary to avoid a brick ..........................................
- After 7 days, unlock
- Flash with fastboot, recovery (Twrp or Orangefox)
- Reboot to recovery
- Follow flash and format instructions of desired Rom
- Flash Magisk for root
PS
Please don't shout anymore for root in a hurry

My 1st own project - upgrading Nexus 5 to Nougat

Hello,
I am a new comer this wonderful forum and I rarely do it as most of the questions are already answered on google.com.
I am using Nexus 5 since last 3 years now and have enjoyed a lot. It's time to go to Nougat at my own and I will doing using this link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/wip-aosp-nougat-nexus-5-t3446875
So I am on the way but it's a huge task for me because I am not a developer so everything is new and 1st time for me. So will be using lehman words here

Go ahead bro, there always be a first time........you are in the right place to have support.

goood luck
First thing needed: Google USB drivers, if you install them, they'll install automaticly after device plug in.
Second: unlocked bootloader, i don't remember what command is for that (i've done it a lot time ago) but on google site it is. Of course, you need to do it by fastboot.
Third: recovery, TWRP from their site and flash by fastboot.
Fourth: rom flash by recovery, it'll be easy.
Little instructions for you
finally I am all good with Nougat on my Nexus 5
Hey all, I am kid from 80s who have seen computers and internet Growing Up Right in Front of Me. I was feeling the same exictement that I had while installing windows 98
I spend almost 5 hours in one single day and I was a kind of shock after having a Nougat on my Nexus.
One thing here is for sure that restart may resolve problem in windows on 1st try but on the phone have to be patience and still rebooting the device may solve many problems...
Thanks a lot to seniors and other developers for their job....
It can't be more short

Yes, that's it and we are done with the update if one knows the steps than I think it will take only 1 hour max to get latest updates on Android. Thanks for keeping it short...

tried to downgrade to oreo from pie now i'm screwed

I don't see any topic relate to downgrade of razer phone 2 so i decided to try since my pixel 2 or galaxy s9 will not any problem as long as my bootloader is unlocked
but it woudn't work on razer phone 2. i downloaded the oreo factory image from the official website but tried the flash-all now my phone is currupted. since there is no pie factory image available, i think my phone can't recover. I'm thinking if flashing gsi would work?
I lowered the version from 9.0 to 8.1, there were no problems...
You probably did not completely unlock the bootloader. It is also necessary to unlock "Critical Partitions", and after that flash the firmware image 8.1
fastboot flashing unlock_critical

LOL, why would you go from a phone you can root & customize, to one you can't do ANYTHING to (that (cr)Apple doesn't allow you to do!)?! That's the ENTIRE reason I've never bought an iPhone, and have always bought Android, so I can root and customize (I realize there's Android phones you can't root, but I'll only buy ones that CAN be rooted).

Use the volume and power buttons to navigate the little menu and reboot your phone into the bootloader while the phone is plugged into your PC. For some reason the flash-all script doesn't like to run as administrator, so try running it just by double clicking. Also, cmd doesn't like pulling files buried in folders, so put the folder with the script and images in the base of your C drive just to be safe. Windows has this issue with the number of characters in a file's path and refuses to find files if the number of chars in it's path and name are too high.
Any benefits using oreo over pie for the razer phone 2 though? Like is it faster or something? I really don't feel the rp2 needs rooting or a custom rom it's plenty fast enough in my opinion

A better approach if you can
You won't get much joy staying on Lollipop, and Kingoroot is not my favorite approach to rooting. See if you can un-do all of that and use the Xperia Companion app to update the phone to Marshmallow. Once you have that, you can unlock the bootloader, flash TWRP in as the recovery if you want to try the LOS Pie build for it, or root it with something more credible, such as SU or Magisk. Yeah, very time consuming, but you will be much happier in the long run for the effort. Still a great little phone if you put some decent software on it. You could also go through the tedium of disabling all the apps in the stock ROM that get in your way, and the Z3C comes with a warehouse full of them, and using a different launcher - Evie is very nice for this purpose - to at least give you something you don't mind looking at. If only the stock ROM supported adopted storage, but you can't have everything .......
Good Luck

When I ran the companion app on a Win 7 machine it told me the same thing. When I ran the companion app on a Win 10 machine, it updated Android (which took an ETERNITY to download but who cares once it is done). SONY has apparently tweaked the app to not do much on anything less than Win 10.
Let me know if that helps.
If you wanted to flash the latest version of stock ROM, get http://www.flashtool.net/index.php .
Included is Xperifirm, which will allow you to choose, download, and package to FTF the latest official ROM. From there, you can use the FTF to flash your phone.
Before you do this, you may want to read up on the various rooting methods and decide which method is best for you. I say this because I started off with Android 4.4 first, installed dual recovery, and then flashed to a pre-rooted Android 5.1 (tried 6.0 and didn't like it) through recovery.
Some older, official ROMs shared by users (probably some dead links):

Moto G9 Play bricked by booting wrong twrp?

Hello forum, if someone could help me finding out, whether I bricked my device doing a pat step, or if it's still possible to recover it, I'd be most glad!
After unlocking the bootloader, it might be, I did a wrong step restarting too soon or something, or trying to boot into a wrong twrp-version. Actually I don't remember each step, as this happened a few months ago...
Thank you for now,
draftflash
if you still can, boot into fastboot and on your pc type
fastboot -w reboot.
if it doesn't work then consider using this firmware updater https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-stock-rom-for-xt2083-reteu.4214883/

Hi rogue.bot, don't remember, maybe an instruction to install /e/ for Moto G7. Anyway, new state is that I recovered the STOCK and now 'd like to install the proper twrp, which should be available now, as I saw.

Thanks, sorry for my late replay. I thought that /e/ was only for pixel phones, is it any better (in privacy) than LinageOS?

ouh, don't think so. I choose it for being said to be a bit lighter. But I am thinking of changing back to LineageOS for /e/ is a bit too close to conventional ROMs, regarding the user surface. But actually I don't know the newer versions of LineageOS.

I dont know if it is available, but for another phone I´ve tried dotOS and was pretty nice, at least on the surface, didn´t dig too deep inside the OS but it seems like a good option, also it has optimization in its DNA

Upgrading Redmi 9 questions

Hello peeps,
I recently purchased a Redmi 9, it came with MiUI Global 11.0.7 Stable (QJCLMCR). I've been trying to update it through the phone butI haven't been able. Some friends that already have MiUI 12 told me thatsince I purchased it through the phone compnay they modify the ROM to add their apps and stuff anf that may be what's preventing me from updating and I'd have to update it manually if I didn't weant to wait.
I googled how to do it manually and it involded downloading the ROM but they seem to have a different version than mine (QJCLMCR) I don't know if this would work with mine or if I should check anything before installing it. I seriously don't want to mess up my phone so I'd appreciate any help with this. Does this would work with my version or do I have to look somewhere else?

Bro , from which country do you come from? it seems you are from Colombia . You have an operator modified version of miui, in your case I think it's Claro. You cannot update manually, nor use one of those roms in the image since you can hard brick your phone. You have two options: Wait for your carrier to release the update (which usually never happens) or change to the Global Rom, you must unlock the bootloader and flash via MiTool.
And you can remove the Preinstalled apps with ADB ! (you must be careful!). Cheers!!!
