Hello everyone there, I've bought a used OnePlus 7 pro a few days ago. But I'm having an issue with it.
Whenever I turn brightness to full, screen starts becoming small and big and small and big. I've tried turning adaptive brightness on and off, removing the screen protector, and rebooting into safe mode but nothing works.
I wanna know if the problem is with software or my phone's screen is damaged?
If this problem is with the screen then how the screen recorder is able capture it?

Hi all, newbie here. I just wanna ask if any of you guys have similar problems like mine. My P20 Pro is set to sleep the screen every 30s, whenever it dims the screen, it seems there is a like a delay/laggy dim screen from bright to the dark, and then the screen off. It is very annoying since other phones like Samsung runs very smoothly whenever it dims the screen to sleep. Do you guys have the same problem? any solutions? thank you so much! xo
Yes i have the same. The Software is horrible on this Phone. I send mine back Today and take the Galaxy S9 Plus.. Too bad i love the color Twilight too much and waited so long for it and now this. Problems everywhere

Have had the V40 since release date. Feelings are mixed bag of frustrations.
My screen is constantly dimming and then going bright. Screen brightness is off. Is there anyone else experiencing this? Can anyone help?
I want to add this.... This problem seems to only happen out doors..bright sunny conditions....

I have the same thing, but it's a dimming before the screen goes dark ... it never comes back on brighter unless I touch the screen to keep it active, if I don't touch the screen it soon goes black.
Play with the screen saver settings in display, setting them to different times to see if that's your issue.

I see what you're saying. However that's not what I'm taking about. It's almost like a flicker... Almost like the screen is overheating and the screen is dimming to protect it.......
Have you used or are you using package disabler pro?

Whenever i use my phone, its screen brightness dims (Adaptive brightness is OFF) and when i pressure the top right part of the screen the screen gets normal for a while. I've tried to get it fixed from service center 2 times but the problem comes back after few weeks. I've also found out that if i press the top-left part of the screen, it dims the screen brightness. Can someone tell me what the problem is.. Is it some loose wiring or is it damaged display?

I had a little accident with my Mi 9T Pro. I broke my screen and had it replaced at local repair shop. After getting my phone back I noticed a strange issue with it. Despite having Automatic Brightness OFF, every time I set brightness to a satisfying level it resets after disabling a screen for a second. Sometimes it resets and sometimes it doesn't.
Today I also noticed that I had my camera brightness lowered. I fixed it by turning on Automatic Brightness for a second and disabling it.
I also noticed that fingerprint icon is very dark on disabled screen.
Any tip? Do I have to reinstall screen drivers or something?
So recently I changed the screen protector of my note 8 (screen protector is UV) after almost a day the screen colors starts flickering. The flickering is gone when I increase the brightness but for one day it went black idk for what reason. There is no physical damage no falls no pressure on screen. The screen works fine before new screen protector idk it is related to protector or not.
I also restart the phone using power+volume down phone restarted but no sign of screen working.
Please if any can help me out as soon as possible
