Android Open Source Project for Nokia 8.1
About AOSP
Android is an open source operating system for mobile devices and a corresponding open source project led by Google. This site and the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) repository offer the information and source code needed to create custom variants of the Android OS, port devices and accessories to the Android platform, and ensure devices meet the compatibility requirements that keep the Android ecosystem a healthy and stable environment for millions of users.
As an open source project, Android's goal is to avoid any central point of failure in which one industry player can restrict or control the innovations of any other player. To that end, Android is a full, production-quality operating system for consumer products, complete with customizable source code that can be ported to nearly any device and public documentation that is available to everyone.
Just as you can contribute code to AOSP, you can also contribute to AOSP documentation—and we want your input! Android's flexibility and ever-changing codebase means this site needs your feedback to keep content fresh, accurate, and relevant to Android implementors. We encourage you to check the changelog for details on recent AOSP updates and to report bugs or offer suggestions using the Site Feedback at the bottom of every page.

Q&A:
Why do I need to flash stock kernel and use it?
This is the same problem with LineageOS & HavocOS, we are currently facing Kernel Source Code Problem which it has audio codes broken (according to faizauthar12). Samsung Released Broken Kernel Source Code, but not all is Broken Only the Audio is currently broken. I can confirmed it too. This is currently good Kernel Source Code rather than having Total Broken Source Code just like what happened of Galaxy A80.
This OS supports OneUI 2.1 (ATG7)?
No. It doesn't work at all. We will wait for the next Kernel Source Code release to support OneUI 2.1 (ATG7).
When we will fix the bugs & issues?
Patience guys.
Great work!.
there is an issue I have identified. The proximity sensor does not work when making calls (I don't think it works at all)

About LineageOS
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for set-top boxes, smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.
LineageOS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub. Since that time, LineageOS development builds now cover more than 185 phone models with over 1.9 million active installs, having doubled its user base in the month February–March 2017 And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Hi has there been any updates to this yet as this looks good. I'm currently running the factory beta v14 which is also quite good. if the blue-tooth audio is sorted on this I might give it a try. Hence my question on updates.
Hey, I did fix Bluetooth audio, but shifted focus to Android 11
I'll be releasing a beta for Android 10 soon I guess with fixes
Beta v1.2 has been released.
You can now download it on GitHub releases.
Changelog:
- Improved overall system stability.
- Fixed Bluetooth Audio (A2DP).
Remaining bugs:
- Encryption
- WiFi calling
OK, question for everyone who's looked at this topic. I unlocked my phone (as per Teracube's website), then flashed the TWRP Recovery from this thread, flashed LineageOS, and then tried to flash NanoGapps (for Android 10, on ARM64), and I get an error 64. What am I screwing up?
I would be happy to help once you could send me /tmp/recovery.log
It seems like a space issue.
Dynamic partition space issues are pretty common, since the partitions for system, vendor and product are dynamically and logically resized to keep only necessary stuff, and no more extra space.
Thanks for making this. It's also awesome that you're giving us an updated TWRP/recovery, but... any chance it can use the official recovery name (Teracube_2e) instead of the current one (2e) so that it's more future-proofed? Thanks again!

As far as OSS development is concerned, it is already future proof
A newer TWRP will be released by Teracube with support for the "2e" codename soon
So, hopefully TWRP will be unified ^^
Also, welcome to Paranoid Android (https://aospa.co) for the Teracube 2e!
An official public beta will be open to users soon.

Has anyone got LineageOS or /e/ working on N7P?

I don't see it on the list of compatible devices on either of their websites, but I'm hardly the last word when it comes to this stuff.
I found this: https://rootmygalaxy.net/how-to-install-lineage-os-17-on-nokia-7-plus-android-10/ But I'm unsure because it might be old, and thought maybe I should get a second opinion.
I'd much prefer /e/ than LineageOS, since it sounds like it's better afa degoogling android.
Hello, yes I succeeded in installling LineageOs 18.1 on my Nokia 7 Plus.
I used this guide:

The A/B partition scheme was also confusing, but somehow I managed. In between I had to revert to Nokia 7 plus stock ROM, because of boot loops.
I can now continue to use my Nokia 7 plus with current google security patches.
How important is it to install twrp oreo or pie out of box? I don't remember which one it was. Is there a way to tell? I tried a few apps, like cpu-z, but I did not see the information.
