I use the minimed application from Medtronic to check my blood sugar. Does anyone know if the Minimed app works on Android 13? If not, upgrading is a showstopper for me.
If the app just starts without saying it is impossible to run it will be fine. If someone wants to check I will appreciate it very much.
It does not work. It blocks you at startup (ask me how I know ).
I was trying to manipulate the APK last week to bypass this, and while I succeeded at bypassing the version check, I couldn't get it to actually pair with my pump, so I gave up.

Ok. Haven't been working so much with APK:s and how to mod them but I will have a try sometime. But unfortunately it didn't work. It cannot connect. It doesn't find any network. Too bad. But thanks anyway.

Does not connect to Medtronic servers on my end as well. I did the stupid thing and updated without even thinking about the Medtronic app... The alarms and notifications were really handy on my pixel 6. (780G)

Same here. I knew about the app not working but wanted to try anyhow. But now I'm back with Android 12 and have disabled the notifications about new update. Guess it will take some time before Medtronic update the app.
Today I received an update of the MiniMed app. Can someone who already upgraded to Android 13 check whether the app is working now?
It's been working for a while. It didn't need the app upgrade.

Hello. My Samsung S20 5G upgraded to Android 13 yesterday and the Minimed mobile stopped working Unsupported Android Version unfortunately the app does not work with Android 13. I found this thread and followed the link and now have a working version on my phone perfect and thank you! the next question is my wife same phone also upgraded and she uses carelink connect to follow my ups and downs but it now shows the not available on Android 13 message. Hi guys, maybe you can help: I have a Sony Xperia 5ii that is on Android 12 and the Minimed Mobile app does not work. I did however work 2 updates back + my phone on Android 11.
What I already tried: installing the first (1.1.1 version, and actually all versions I could find), where the app continues after version check (yes!), but then the pump cannot connect Bluetooth (had this issue already at the first release).
Also tried the above "patched" APK but there the error that the app does not work on A12.
Since my phone will not get an upgrade to A13 (and no stable A13 AOSP versions available), I am stuck... Any suggestions? I am amost that far to buy a new phone ONLY for getting Minimed Mobile to work again (especially with the link to Xdrip and my Garmin devices during mountain biking and trail running).

THis method works with ALL GNOTE Gingerbread ROMs, latest LC1 also.
You have to flash this file with CWM recovery, and use Sanity (from PlayStore) with "audio phone" method of recording (or something similar, I have italian menus).
Please, do a nandroid first....

It flashes two audio libraries only, tried myself and works fine, very strange...

There's nothing to explain, you must have root and CWM recovery installed, see this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360

After that, flash my mod, then install "Sanity" from market and enable recording, then set audio format "mp4", audio source "phone call", automatic start "disabled", automatic stop "enabled" with 3 seconds delay.
When in call, if you want to rec, simply press home button, then "call recording" on status bar notify. More simple if you create a shortcut to "Sanity/call recording" in home screen. That's all
P.s. : I'm able to rec also with bluetooth headset.

If your Galaxy TAB is based on gingerbread rom, simply make a nandroid backup and try if it works...
If not, simply restore nandroid...

My Galaxy tab has update to gingerbread alreay and I follow your instruction to flash this mod to tab, and then reboot tab .....
Tab can not reboot again!
However, I've recovery it by Clockwork Recovery, so it does'nt cause any damage, anyway, thank you for your help!

hehe...you are right but your trick is a bit difficult....
i'd like to use strategyB mode on TotalRecul...
The problem is that very few users are interested in Note...and fewer in recording calls...

Hi. Nice and good looking rom. But i have one question. Can you tell me a little more about those 2 bugs you stated in the post?
What's main problem? You can't change time, select alarm or something else, change volume etc?
Thanks again i am looking to install some samsung like rom to my sisters phone because on 5.1 she can't make SD card as internal storage. Is that possible with this rom?

No isnt possible .
The samsung dont allow to make sd card as internal storage.
The main option of im install custom roms to use this feature but no one rom have it

At this moment i have installed Resurrection Remix and i done that with SD card. But rom is terrible to use with a lot of problems (camera, wifi, stability, etc) so this would be got alternative if that option is possible.
I read that this is possible in any Android system starting from 6.0 Marshmallow.

Clock: When setting Alarm,The app crashes which makes the app unusable
Volume just has a weird GUI glitch. It still works well
And for the SD card, No.You can't make it as Internal. Gonna try doing that in the next update

I have an idea! This systemui is for GraceUX. So maybe we can put it in RE Rom and solve The flickering and the lockscreen problem too!

it isn't for the Honor 7x - unless the Honor 7x and Huawei P smart are identical in hardware and partition layout
They look very similar but Honor 7x has EMUI 5.1 and P smart has EMUI 8 which EMUI pixelized is based off
and the specs are slightly different
it only modifies the system and data partition so if it doesn't work you won't get a hard bricked phone anyway

Dont worry, I know what I'm doing. I managed to also get kirin 970 devices ROMs to boot on my phone, so... Also, Honor 7x DOES have EMUI 8, dont know where you got the understanding it has EMUI 5.1.

It is on androidfilhost and I updated the androidfilehost links on my website yesterday?
Edit: nevermind the download text box was in front of the download buttons - fixed now
I am thinking of changing download server though as when the download buttons were setup to directly download instead of having to go through the whole waiting for links and waiting a few seconds on Androidfilehost, the first part of the URL changed from DC7 to DC5 making the download links useless ( that's why the download links go to the androidfilehost download page instead of a direct download )

I have had two people test it and it works fine for them ( FIG-LX1 models, not sure if it will work on other models )

Using iPhone for long long time and here the first question :
-how do i transfer all my stuff to the Ultra? (i do NOT have a PC/MAC)
-do the CN ROM have some restriction ? (For now everything is working fine but since in dont have all my stuff in it i dont use it like i should)
-i want to instal the Global ROM but can i lock back the bootloader ?
-if i let it unlock what will be the issues ? (App or services not available)
I also have few questions:
1. when I shake the device I hear a soft knocking, do you guys too?
2. I tried unofficail (no waiting time) unlock xioami but it wont work so when I tried to unlock and I saw "you have to wait 168h" so all I have to to its just wait? No more action till then?

1- Yes thats normal, thats the OIS of the camera
2- Those unofficial ones never work. Dont bother. To unlock the bootloader, you always have to wait 168h, its a golden rule, so ye, you will be stuck on the Chinese rom until then. Just use the phone normally in the meantime

There is no restriction. I would flush a global version for cleaness as you won't need the chinese apps and features (such as tracking sfexpress, code scanning via wechat, online order etc). I do hear somebody say Chinese roms have better battery life tho, not sure how true is that.

Go to the app you are having issues with notification, do two things.
1. autostart, set to yes.
2. battery optimization, instead of miui optimized, select no optimization.

for 2. one thing to noticed is that after you unlock the phone, all personal data would be gone, so use your phone like a temporary phone in this week as most of your settings, etc will be gone after unlocking anyway.

l'audio è fantastico. la batteria non è affatto male.
If you install the Global ROM you can not lock back your bootloader. It will brick your phone!
Is it possible to go back to the China rom if you change your mind or something doesn't work properly?
@speedtripler , as i know, you can reflash the original CN rom on the china unit, yes.
Also make sure not to relock your bootloader once you have flashed anything else than the original ROM of the phone because will soft brick it .
CN version CN ROM, global version global version , etc. ( check phone model to see what phone version you are using )
Also make sure to check the rom you are using if you didn't purchased the phone from official channels.
Some sellers tend to flash a custom rom without users not knowing about it .

to unlock the bootloader,you can use the internal test rom account, may not have to wait 168 hours.

There are several solutions.
1. Borrow your friend's Xiaomi account with internal test qualification.
2. Buy an account with internal test qualification on Taobao or other platforms.
3. In Xiaomi community, the "internal test score" reaches 900, but it may be a little difficult for foreigners and it takes too much time. At least a month? I don't know..（when you have the internal test qualification of other mobile phone models and don't need to own the mobile phone, you can apply for approval without approval）

I have to wait about 100 hours but the Chinese version works great after you get rid of all the stuff that you don't need
It was 12.0.3 or 4 out of the box and now on the 12.0.10 stable

The S20 FE 5G / 4g has been more than 1 year since its launch and until today no custom rom. I already leave the twrp for him I already tested it works very well. Why don't I have a rom yet?
edit: If you have any interested dev I think it was better to create a pure android rom as in google pixels

I don't know how long a year is in your country.
For me it's only been seven months since it was released in September...
There are still 5 months until the year is full. And you speak of more than a year?

Barely half a year, and even in some parts of the world not even that much. The problem is recent released upgrade and lack of kernel source.
Besides I don't see reason at this time to install any of custom ROMs - because they can hardly tackle the problems in the official build without considerable testing and research, personally. So what is the rush?
And unlike MIUI trash, One UI 3.1 is very decent and doesn't require, yet another AOSP custom rom to remedy that

I don't really like a user interface due to the big changes made to the system. I am waiting for a customrom similar to the pixels and also to unlock the esim instead of the onenui that is blocked

The user interface is easily solved even without opting out for rooting a phone or custom ROMs.
After all skin that One UI is using can be switched by some other skin that is vanilla-like. As for eSim, I don't have a problem with that, cause I chose a provider which doesn't force that on me (I prefer the removable micro-physical), lol but I get the reason why you would want it.

i have been using pe+ gsi for a few months now, works perfectly
Regarding a custom ROM for this device, one is being working on atm and it will be ready when its ready -

Well you could ask the ROm dev onve he is done with making a oneUi if he/she might want to try making an AOSP rom.

hopefully they'll make a super lite OneUI rom with an aroma installer for all extras people might not want.
just a thought... anyone waiting to try this custom rom will be relying on TWRP most likely so they should probably stop updating their phones. actually they needed to stop at April. it looks like Samsung releases the kernel sources just as the phone gets updated.
the next TWRP that comes out might not work with an up-to date system.

there's a telegram group for getting GSI roms up and running for both FE versions.
if you can search for groups you don't belong to I don't know how.
