Question Mi 11 ultra stuck in fastboot - Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

Hello,
I buy a Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra to Tradingshenzen.
I try to update in 13.0.13 EU.
Since it stuck in fastboot mode loop.
Bootloader is lock.
USB debug is off.
I can't access with ADB.
I try to flash it with MiFlash 2022.5.7, don't work ( Erase is not allowed in Lock State).
I heard about EDL fastboot mode but It seems to need a specific software to generate a code to unlock, so i don't know what to do.
Sorry for my bad english...

Try to unlock bootloader .
Apply for permissions to unlock Mi devices
en.miui.com
Some useful info , here it says that it's possible to apply for EDL auth.

Mi5 Bootloop with unfortunate circumstances :(

My Xiaomi Mi5 which has the misfortune of getting into BOOTLOOP
Here's some info regarding the device:
1. The bootloader is locked.
2. I forgot the assigned MI account
3. Developer mode is NOT on
4. USB debugging is NOT on
5. I can get into fastboot and recovery mode
6. I have tried using Chinese mi pc suite to flash a new rom, but it doesn't work
7. I have no further info regarding this device
Is there anyone out there who can help this poor soul? Is there any complete guide to fix this situation?
The only thing you can do in a situation like that is flash a MiUI ROM using Mi Flash, try uing EDL. You can enter it with fastboot oem edl
But even if the device does boot up you'll still face a lock requiring the original mi account login and password to unlock the phone.
flash official miui fastboot rom. something like this
https://en.miui.com/thread-3899909-1-1.html
no need of bootloader unlock, no need any debugging setting, it will be easily recoverable.

Flash Official ROM A2

Hello all!
I recently bought a second hand Xiaomi MI A2 online however I found a problem.
The previous owner did a factory reset on it but I'm stuck in the initial set up configuration because it asks me for the google account credentials attached to the phone. I texted the previous owner but had no answer.
So I tried to flash the official ROM to bypass the issue but I get an error message from Xiaomi Flash Tool saying "remote: Flash is not allowed in Lock State".
I think this is happening for one of the following reasons:
The previous owner didn't enable USB Debugging (thing I can't do because I'm stuck in the set up configuration)
The bootloader is locked (and I can't unlock it because I don't have the credentials of the attached account)
Does anyone knows how can I solve this problem?
Thank you for your attention

Just unlock bootloader(critical too) and use miflash
I also have a Mi A2 stuck in android logo screen can't can't boot into device developer options to unlock bootloader.
Fastboot oem unlock give me error flashing is not allowed.
Is there anyway around this?
You need to do an unlock of critical partitions - "fastboot flashing unlock_critical"

Thanks. I've tried the MIFlash Tool and I get Error Flashing Not allowed in Lock State. I've also tried the MI A2 ToolKit and get the same message. Basically anything I try and do states device is locked or unable to run in Lock State.
Boot Loader is currently locked and I cannot access developer mode to enable OEM unlocking. Question I have is :
- Can I use EDL Cable to work around this or do EDL cables not longer work with Newer Xiaomi phones?
- If EDL cable doesn't work, is the tespoint method my only option.
thanks in advance

yes it's difficult .... I understand
edl maybe work, but I'm not sure...maybe if you go to a repair shop is a better solution

I would try a wipe from the recovery but if that doesnt work then just test point the phone. It isnt that hard, I had to do it myself today because of a soft brick. You just need a T3 screwdriver really. Take out the 2 bottom screws. Take a razor and slide it under the corner of the display and lift it enough the get a credit card in there. Then just work around and you should be able to get the screen off. Take the small metal plate off just above the battery and disconnect the battery and the connector on the right. There will be the test points, short them out, connect the phone to the pc(you can stop shorting out the points when it gets detected) and you have like 10-15secs to start flashing the phone in miflash(obviously you need to have the drivers already set up).
I have same problem with xiaomi mi a2 which had bootloop. Was not able to start device at all so no oem unloco no developer options and no usb debug. It was possible only adb sideload and fastboot. Adb sideload did nothing. I was trying to flash with adb sideload but it stops at 47% with message 1.00 x. Did try several roms with same results. Then i tried fastboot options. Falied to unlock not allowed. Itsl was impossible to get even into phone to activate developer options so i can activate oem unlock and the rest. I tried edl mode which did flash but then i got error message in bootloader it failed to mount system etc. Then i tried mi x6 rom to convert phone to another which doesnt have usual recovery mode but a stripped oem recovery mode. Now when u go back to mi a2 rom its bricked so there is no option of adb at all now. I tried to use mi x6 mi assistant option but app wont recognize usb connection it shows try normal mode then switch. When activating mi assistant on phone it does recognize rom version from recovefy flash in mi assistant app but when it downloads update rom version it cant continue. With pixel you can do anything with adb and it is so easy but xiaomi sucks big time. You cant do anything. Fastboot flashing unlock critical and fastboot oem unlock gets error failed. Flashing not allowed. U tried diferent cables but no luck. So now what? Thats why i hate adb. On samsung odin you can do impossible possible. Even with sp tools on mtk. Even boxes works flawlessly but xiaomi system is just thr worse. It doesnt matter if you get soemthing lost there is always a solution to other phones.
After having device sit as a paper weight for a few months, i broke down and ordered a phone repair kit. Opened device up and flashed via test point method. Worked Flawless. Time to enable OEM unlock so i don't have to open it up again. Thanks to community for all the help.
Use cmd
- go to fastboot then "fastboot oem unlock"
- go to fastboot again "fastboot flashing unlock_critical"
Flash with mi flash
Done
Just stumbled upon this and while may be 18 months too late, here's the step by step process to flash ROM on MI A2 that's giving error "Flash is not allowed in Lock State":
1) switch off device
2) enter fastbood mode (press hold power+vol down few seconds)
3) connect device with laptop
4) install and open adb folder on laptop (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979)
5) within adb folder -- shift + right click = open powershell here
6) fastboot flashing unlock_critical
7) step #6 may be pointless if phone is bricked but do it anyway
8) fastboot oem edl
9) find and download latest stock rom for your device (FASTBOOT version). It'll be .tgz file
10) extract the image folder from within (would be the same name as .tgz file)
11) open miflash (coudln't find link but look it up, it's easy)
12 select the image folder you extracted in step #10
13) click refresh. device name appear means it's recognized
14) from bottom of mi flash tool select whatever you want. I do "clean all"
15) flash (top right mi flash tool)

you need to open phone with screwdriver & do the test point ..search for video on YouTube...then EDL deepflash state you can use miflash to put back OFFICIAL only rom to device.

MI 8 - Bricked

Hello,
I was running unlocked bootloader and pixelexperience rom. Today I wanted to try to flash latest xiaomi.eu and now my phone is bricked.
Steps:
Twrp -
flashed data (after that i saw that i had an error and data didn't flash)
installed rom (because i didn't see the error) - rom failed to install
flashed data again from twrp advanced option
phone rebooted and now it bootloops on mi logo. i do not have recovery nor fastboot.
what can I do in this situation? i searched the forum but there is nothing similar
You must have fastboot, check how install miui using mi flash. I use this method and working for me
When I try to boot into fastboot, it only shows black screen. The PC does not recognise it.
Also, I do not have EDL mode available..

Exact same issue, no fastboot or EDL mode. Tried updating the latest Miui 11 - Android 10 - Xiaomi EU Rom (Jan 25th) and the phone has been bricked.
Solution Deleted.
got into EDL mode using test points, but now i have edl auth error - "cannot receive hello packet"
Seems like a common problem for bricked devices and need mi account with the right edl auth privileges.
Any help welcome.
There is nothing to do, unless:
A) you find a Xiaomi Authorized account (in which case please alert us)
B) you manage to hack the EDL mode and bypass the Authorization.
Tertium non datur.
EDIT: EDL is the only chance for you anyway @Andrei221
If you had fastboot you could get into EDL by running: "fastboot oem edl", but since you have no fastboot you're only left with the test-points or an EDL-cable.

No. I've tried different things:
- trying to flash with QPST in EDL mode (9008)
- trying to flash fastboot roms with various/ancient versions of MiFlash in EDL mode (9008)
- flashing standalone modem firmwares (old ones, new ones, non-ARB ones, packed with NON-HLOS, etc.) from TWRP
- doing a MITM on the response that MiFlash & MiFlash PRO get from https://update.miui.com/updates/miotaV3.php
- doing a MITM on MiFlash and redirecting requests to old URLs (https://update.miui.com/updates/miotaV2.php, https://update.miui.com/updates/miota.php) and black-box testing them
- using MobileEdit Forensic tool to exploit the EDL firmware
*Note*: I've obviously tried all the different FireHose programmers that are floating around (including those distributed by MobileEdit).
Nothing works.
Especially trying to modify the response (if one understood its format) could very well be useless because it could be that the response from update.miui.com is validated directly by the firmware itself (like a challenge-response authentication) - this has to be verified.
The only possibility I see for now is to flash the original Xiaomi Recovery, let it connect to MiFlash Pro (choosing option n.3 from the menu), and then using IdaPro to trick MiFlash Pro into telling the Recovery to flash the phone. It shouldn't be hard, and I think it *MIGHT* offer the possibility to bypass ARB & Authentication (but I might be wrong: it might be equivalent to flashing from Fastboot). That waits to be tested.
I hope this saves y'all from wasting time.
To flash or unbrick Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, you'll need edl authentication to use the Mi Flash tool to complete this flashing operation. An authorized Service Account is required. This is the worst part of flashing the latest generation of Xiaomi android devices. I have had this problem before with MI 8 Lite. Desperately looking for Xiaomi Mi9 Cepheus No Authentication Firehose elf file to unbrick my phone

Hi everyone,
I bought a Xiaomi MI9 with 128GB of RAM supposedly brand new with an unlocked bootloader to replace my old Mi 9 with 64GB whose screen was broken after a fall. I flashed the latest version of the official EEA ROM and then, for security reasons, I made the mistake of unlocking the bootloader again with "fastboot oem lock" adb command. Since then, my phone start until the MUI logo is displayed then reboots. I have no access to anything. The only way out is to reflash a new rom in EDL mode but, to do this, I need the patched sdm855 ELF file for the mi9. I've tested the one for K20/Mi 9T which have the same name with no success. Can anyone provide me the holy grail ?
Thanks for your help.
David.
@Magellan13, Did you fix it? And how?
If it were a Samsung there would be a recovery key combo, a download mode key combo and if it were Qualcommm - EDL mode- where you would need the correct files to flash.
In recovery there would be a clear cache which can sometimes make it start.
Do u have access to fastboot by keys?, U may have to.unlock bootloader but to unlock u need have registered device on MIUI account.

Help redmi4 edl error: "object reference not set as an object"

I had soft bricked redmi 4 mobile with locked boot loader, I could go to mi recovery 3.0 and fastboot etc. I tried to flash santoni 10.3 rom via fastboot mode but couldn't flash it with "critical partition error" due to locked bootloader. Then I entered edl mode by shorting test points, then successfully flashed rom with clean all option via miflash tool 'santoni_10.3 global', mobile started well and i used it 2 days. It shows ota updates available of 11.0.2nammixm in setting's updater. I downloaded it and after rebooting it left me mi recovery 3.0 and then I choosen reboot to system and got suck on mi logo again. It means i softbricked device again with locked bootloader. This time i again tried edl mode with miflash tool but it gives error "object reference not set as an object ". Don't know hot fix it. I tried 2 different miflash tool versions, both the fastboot roms "santoni 10.3 global" and "santoni 11.0.2 global" to flash, but getting that error again and again.
Sorry for my bad english.
Please help me, I can go into fastboot mode and edl with port 'qhsusb 9008 com10'
Crying...
Problem resolved,
I got revived again my redmi 4 mobile.
Solution is to try any older rom and older version of mi flash tool.
Suggestions-
Use santoni_global_images_V8.2.12.0.MAMMIEA_20170629.0000.00_6.0_global_751410291c.tgz
And miflash-20220218 or miflash-20170425
Use Edl mode if you have locked bootloader,
Fastboot mode if having unlocked bootloader.
I will update my successes report if get managed to switch on miui 11 (currently having miui 8).
