Redmi 9 ( Lancelot ) the development,roms and Xiaomi.EU

Well, Once I grabbed the redmi 9 the first thing lights in my mind Twrp and roms
Is there any chance to see custom roms for this device as it use mediakit G80
at least Xiaomi.EU ?!
I hope that developers answer and discuss this here for us :highfive:

As I said “At least Xiaomi.EU” . All what we need is the successful of Redmi 9 in the Indian market

Customs roms on Redmi Note 8 pro, which is based on Mediatek G90T, is well developed (Pixel Experience, Lineage and so on) but not supported anymore by Xiaomi.EU (due to MTK brick case), the question is Xiaomi is planning to release kernel source for this device ? if not probably never get anything stable

Did this phone already released at india?

You can boot GSIs on this device, but they're not as stable as ROMs built for the device.

kernel sources are up now its up to devs to port custom roms in lacelot
Xiaomi releases kernel sources for the Redmi 9/9 Prime, Redmi Note 9 4G/Redmi 9 Power, and Mi 10T Lite/Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (xda-developers.com)

Any news on this? I Could use a GSI but I am not sure because of the risks and it might be not even worth it

In depth test apk Says Device not compatible

Recently i downloaded the in depth test apk for the x50 5g (China) But when i try to request bootloader unlock it says Device Is not supported Even if i downloaded the apk for the x50 5g china https://www.realmebbs.com/post-details/1243126041673740288 Anyone Knows how to fix it?

Did it work?

Same here. I could not unlock bootloader by using the depth test apk from the link in the op.
Somebody helps please!

Forget about the realmebbs file link, it's unavailable for long, my phone is X50 5G, (RMX2051), Just try this.

The 4gb variant doesnt have split screen, I need to use anti low end magisk module to activate it

I have 4gb of ram variant too and my bl is locked, I have Indonesian rom tho, maybe that's the reason it works

I still haven't updated my phone, maybe they Added the feature back in the latest update android 12, I still in android 11

Yes you can install rmx2061 roms the only difference is rmx2063 has NFC and rmx2061 does not.

Go to the 'realme 6 pro' telegram global chat group they have all info there.
The information is here on XDA too
basically you need to :
1. unlock the bootloader
2. install a custom recovery
3. then install ROM

I would need an original update for rmx2063
I inadvertently activated the oem lock and the wifi stopped working and I was bricked... the official update available is older and does not allow me to install it and of course... the unofficial ones even less
I remember installing a DSU update, I guess that's where the problem is

I am trying to flash EU Firmware https://download.c.realme.com/osupdate/RMX2061EU_11_OTA_0380_all_EIeguy5zqMib.ozip on RMX2061
Currently, my device is RMX2061_11_A.41
Have anyone tried this?

That answer was the difference between rmx2061 and rmx2063 not the difference between Indian and Global roms
