Question USB DAC problem - Xiaomi 12 Pro

Hi,
I am using Xiaomi 12 pro with Meizu HiFi dac usb and in apps like tidal , stock music app or yt the volume is very very low but in Poweramp on output OpenSL ES HiRes with DVC volume is ok but quality is only 24bit/48kHz where should be 32bit/384kHz. Any solutions ?
Is there someone who is using usb dac too ? Do you have any issues?

Solutions for low volume is to change region in device settings for other then EU countries. For example United States . EU has more restricted laws for mobile devices which tell about maximum level of volume.
Problem with lower quality in Poweramp should be solved in next update or another one. Files which app cant read as you can see on screenshot has different localisation then the app think.
If I am wrong please correct me.
sorry for english if it is incorrect

In the EU volume is capped but when you try to adjust it higher than it gives a warning but you can ignore it and adjust it as high as you want. In the Developers Options for BT via the internal DAC you can set itup to your likings but I see no options there for using the USB output.

P1000 P1 TV-Out not working on ICS?

Hey, I have CM9 on my tablet but TV-Out will not function. I set the video type to PAL and plug cable into my headphone jack and into TV then click to enable TV out and nothing happens. Audio comes through the TV but see no picture at all How do I fix this? Hopefully easy fix cause I am going away this week and would like to use it as a portable media player to hookup to TV at accomodation. Thanks!
Enable TV-out:
Settings -> Advanced -> TV Out (turn on): Now working TV-Out.
The sound is not does the TV outs, headphones only working.
I confirm: tv-out video signal is working but no sound over the tv-out cable.
And also no hardware acceleration for video regardless of which player I use.
I'm using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523174
So if you daily use the tv-out, stay on GB!
Hello friends! I installed cm9 today!! About the bug of camera just use Camera fx and it's super ok
I manage to put tv-out with sound working!

(Second FAQ)
So this means what? The same thing as it did with the n5 for the always listening feature google did not buy the license for?

This is interesting, if the DAC supports it then why is it disabled on software level
I worked in audio and did my MSEE in the area of signal processing and digital recording.
I doubt the noise floor and performance of a phone warrants 192K and 24Bit.
Even if you have the DACs, I can't believe the analog of a phone is up to par.
I highly doubt the S/N performance of any of these phones is in the +100dB range.
You get 6dB of dynamic range per bit, so anything beyond 17 bits in this application is useless anyway.
I suspect the high resolution is turned off because based on the rest of the system, you gain nothing.
Oh, I forgot. Flame retardant suit on.

Cellular in-call headphone volume too loud

Could someone test and confirm if on their Nexus 6 the in-call volume on headphones is extremely loud now even on the lowest volume setting? The problem occurs on cellular calls only - WiFi calls have normal volume. I am on Project Fi. My phone is unrooted and on the latest 7.1.1 stock build (N6F26R) - had the problem with the previous 7.1.1 build as well.
I don't think I have had this problem until recently - I suspect the 7.1.1 builds or a Fi-specific issue. I've been talking to the Fi folks, but they're just giving me the runaround, so I'd like to narrow down the culprit.
Try the app Volume Control Plus of FirestormApps,
Doesn't that app just provide glorified volume controls? I don't see how it would help me lower the volume below the minimum that I can achieve via the standard volume controls.

That doesn't help. ulibube is correct. This app only lowers the volume to the lowest setting currently available. What we are looking for is something that will reduce the volume BELOW that level.
Thanks,

Can't find amplifier input inside JBL soundboost 2

Hello,
I'm currently trying to mod my JBL soundboost 2 to add a jack input to it because my custom ROM doesn't support audio routing for moto mods, but I can't find anywhere to make a connection with the amplifier input. I found the amplifier output, but if I make the connection here the sound will not be amplified (logic ) and the sound very low, like headphones.
Does anyone know where I can find the amplifier input ?
Thanks !

maybe there is something in the dev kit documentation, since the pinout should probably be same for all mods
https://developer.motorola.com/documentation/all-downloads
..
also, your links don't work for some reason
Let us know if you make it work!

Question Can't adjust audio balance, is there a fix/app? [SOLVED]

I need to be able to adjust the audio balance (or, if you prefer, the left-right volumes) on my Pixel 7. (One earbud plays half as loud as the other.) But every app I have tried so far (Wavelet and PowerAmp EQ are the only ones with memorable names) fails to be able to do this. They'll generally work in all other functions (EQ, total volume, reverb, etc) but always fail to address the left-right balance.
Is there a magic app I haven't tried? Is there an inbuilt setting I haven't found yet? Or is the Pixel 7/current-Android-version simply incapable?
Thanks in advance. I did search xda and the rest of the world and came up empty.
Try going to settings, accessibility, audio adjustment. There is a L/R slider.
Good luck!

Crap, I know I looked there at least once. Must have skimmed right past it.
That works, but it'll be a pain if I switch to the other earbuds. Don't suppose there's any way to make it quicker to adjust or shortcut to that setting?
ETA: Wait, stop, I just discovered Accesibility Shortcuts are a thing. Never needed anything like this before. Thanks again, OJ!
