Hi, My XZ3 bottom speaker has suddenly stopped working. The top speaker (earpiece) is working fine while watching videos or making a phone call. I mostly use wireless handsfree so it is not bothering me that much.
But, when I turn on the speaker mode during phone call or while having a video call on WhatsApp, the top speaker has no sound. Thus, I can't hear other person.
The issue I think is that the Phone app and WhatsApp uses only bottom speaker for video calls.
So, is there any method to enable top speaker or stereo mode in Whatsapp video call and Phone call?
FYI, temproot is enabled on my device SOV39.

After listening to musis using a bluetooth stereo headset, the phone will not ring when I receive a call - it's as if the speaker is muted. The screen shows me an incoming call.
The sound is not muted and the phone is not in vibrate/silent mode. The headset is off.
Anyone else have this problem?
PS I also get the sound lag when listening to music over bluetooth.
My huawei P9 mutes all loud speaker calls after the screen goes off, in normal calls or via apps. I noticed it with whatsapp calls, after choosing loudspeaker, 10 seconds than the microphone is off and no one can hear me. same happen wih normal calls.
When I talk to people using the regular phone call they complain about my microphone being muffled when I hold the phone to my ear.
It works great on speaker phone.
Any other calling app like Viber works well with the phone at my ear.
Is there a setting for mic volume somewhere?
Was very very annoyed earlier when in a Skype audio call via earpiece (not as a speaker) that my P20 Pro rang down my ear at full volume when an incoming phone call came in.
I am very careful with how loud I listen to music etc and it is annoying that such a bug would send such a loud pulse of sound down ear sealed to the top "speaker"
Is this a hardware bug ?
Or Skype software bug not registering to android it's being used for a call ?
Or an Emui bug not recognising phone is being used for a non speaker phone call ?
I can't find anyway of disabling top "speaker" for incoming ringtone ?

I face some problems did anyone face the same,
when I talk to someone by Whatsapp by video or audio and open the speaker, and while I speak I have another call by whats also or normal phone, and I do not want to answer this call because I already talking in my first call when the second call ended without answer the audio for the first call transfer to mobile earphone speaker, not the outside speaker, I try to re-put the call on out speaker again by press the button on and off by Whatsapp but not working until I end the call !!
I face this problem with Webex also and other speaker apps when I activate it and talk with the second call coming.
