Attention: During this debloat proceess you can lose some of data. Do not continue if not sure. Recomended to do after you unpacked and updated software on your NEW device without copying your personal information.
1) download ADBApp Control (please buy if you like it)
2) activate ADB on your tab
3) activate ADB in developer settings
4) Connect usb cable to pc and run ADBAPPControl software
5) Allow ADB connection on your Samsung device
6) Choose all preinstalled app you no need (see my screen above), i had 122 useless apps selected.
6a) -------or Choose LOAD PRESET if want to load my 122 disabled apps list
7) Choose Delete data\cache if you want totally clean apps data (or deselect it)
8) Choose Disable (all selected apps will be DISABLED and not uninstalled and can be enabled back in any time if needed manually or via ADBAPPControl app)
9) Wait untill ADBAPPControl finish clean up, disconnect USB cable and restart your tablet
attention: do not disable Samsung Keybord if planning to use DEX - you can get bootloop
(comment from @sosimple)

Thanks!
Really a good list. If you don't use Samsung ecosystem, all the non useful.
From the 122 apps, you can open the text file with notepad and delete which you dont want to freeze. (I'm posting it for those who don't know how it works). I did it in not a new tab but worked fine.
There is also Ladb ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.draco.ladb ) which works fine in galaxy tab s8 ultra. You can create adb without pc, just be connected to a wifi, and freeze / Defreeze apps with adb commands (google it).

just load my list in ADBAPP Control and UNCHECK an apps you want to keep ))) simply easy

I think the stock gallery app and calculator are pretty good. I'd keep those.

To have Dex working again, i should open those?
com.sec.android.desktopmode.uiservice
com.sec.android.app.desktoplauncher
com.samsung.desktopsystemui
Are there any others i must open?
Thanks,

Hi @malikin. Thanks for this. You may want to Edit your OP and change the thread type from the default of "Question" to "General" instead. Cheers.

I reply to myself. Anyone who wants Dex , defrose those. I just tested it. Also if you want dex ,don't ever freeze Samsung keybord (regardless if you dont use it because you have for example google keyboard) because when you start Dex ,tablet bootloop and you'll neet to factory reset. At least that is happening to Galaxy tab s6, I don't see why wont happen here.. If i had root I'll tested but i don't. In tab s6 where i have root , i can fix it without factory reset.

[Q] Broken Shortcuts?

So whenever I install an app to sd card (via froyo, not rooted) the image no longer shows up on the desktop screens. The links to the app still work but the image is not correct. Is there a solution?
You need to restart the launcher app in order for the icons to appear.
If you use LaucherPro, go to Preferences > Restart LauncherPro
im using ADW and i just restarted the phone and the icons are still not right
Did you wait for the SD to be verified before entering you PIN to unlock the SIM? If not, try doing that...
If it still doesn't work, go check in Settings > Applications if you can properly see the apps that have a faulty shortcut. If you can get their info there, try moving one back to the phone and see if this solves it.
If you can see the apps but not get their info (e.g. their name is weird like com.myapp.whatever), then I'm afraid I can't help you further. I had a similar problem like that and wasn't able to solve it either. In the end I just installed Cyanogen ROM which has been working great .

Nah they all work fine, the info is all there and the links still work. The only thing that is wrong is the icon does not show the apps image on the desktop it just shows the little android in a white box android.

but on the desktop, I know the apps have icons. This only happens with apps that I have moved to SD card (again, through froyo, im not rooted)
Ah then it's not exactly what I had (lucky you ). Mine also had the android-icon, but when i clicked it said that the app was not installed .
Have you tried the moving back to phone option? Maybe if you move them back to the phone the icon will re-appear and then you could move them back to SD later
strange .., indeed
same problem here. , tried some possible solutions..,
it just only happend when i restart the phone

[Download] Modified Gingerbred Keyboard

**NOTE**
_mod1 has the new .com additions, the first apk has only the smilies modified
The smilies popup and period popup on the gingerbred keyboard were really bothering me, so I decided to change them and upload it for everyone. The only thing I changed were the smilies, and the period popup nothing else. To access the smilies on the keyboard simply longpress the enter button.
When you longpress the period button on the keyboard, there will now be options for .com .net .edu .org .fr for easier typing urls to friends or in the browser. I found it really annoying that these were not custom configurable in the first place, but eh, lol. I also removed the comma button, which is totally redundant since it's on the left hand side of the spacebar. (go in keyboard settings>settings button> hide ; it doesn't hide it permanently, it just adds it as a popup above the comma button)
Uninstall your GB keyboard before installing this one. The file is signed, and should work if installed like any other sideloaded apk. I personally used Android Commander to install it.
Sorry for the blurry picture, but it's the best I can do since taking screenshots of keyboard popups is impossible XD

Really liked the idea of this, but couldn't get it working. Kept getting FC's. Used Root Explorer to move the .apk, fixed permissions, but still not working.
Did you replace the files or use root explorer to install the files? you're supposed to install the apk fresh instead of play with the xml files which is probably causing your force closes.

I deleted my old GB keyboard, then used Root Explorer to move the new keyboard to System/App fixed permissions, and rebooted. I will try again and see what happens.
Edit: I got it working now. Thanks button pushed!!! Nice work.
glad to hear you got it working =D just for next time, install it like any other sideloaded apk, they should be signed and ready to go
Will this work on my Samsung Galaxy Fit? I'm running GINGERBREAD.XWKQ2 / S5670XWKQ2
I downloaded a Gingerbread keyboard on the Market, I guess this one is the original one with some modifications than the one that I downloaded from the Market, I'm new to Android and I haven't root my Galaxy Fit. Can you guys help me out? sorry :/
this will work for any android device that can run sideloaded apps and the free gingerbred keyboard on the market; and yeah I did modify the Gingerbred keyboard from the android market as I couldn't find an apk of the ASOP keyboard. In settings go Applications > Applications from unknown sources > tap check box. If that option doesn't exist you'll need to root your phone or use ADB to install apps via root access.
Thank you so much for this! I love the MattedBlues keyboard.

Download Item: (http://www.mediafire.com/?mmgdz2rzend0vvk )
Read before installing: :highfive: :good:
The first is to have the end of Emanon rom installed v7
and CW Recovery installed on your phone
Here's the kicker;
Log in recovery mode and choose one of two:
Option / 1º / is advisable to make a WipeData / factory reset, nothing happens if they do -
but if they do here comes the problem, the application (Settings.apk TAP) not installed -
but has re-resurrect solution and how? steps: Activate the File Manager application
activate the option in options and ROOT Exprorador System / app and look Settings.apk renamed -
to just below the Settings.apk.old putting a Settings.apk Settings.apk.back the clearing to rename only. back -
reboot in hot Reboot faster and can now enter adjustments, but not my Settings TABS so now-
have to redo this operation which as renamed before. remove the old. old and leave it. apk
but before that the Settings.apk that renamed before the end he added. restarted and back and you have selected. :crying:
Restart. preocupatet
Only option / 2º / you doing these wipes-wipe cache partition and in advance on - wipe dalvik cache
and install after restart only that everything save to the 1º option
no problems since everything is installed fine.:highfive: :good: :fingers-crossed:
That is what brings: blablablabla: tiritirititi
Jellybean-Animation

Advisory Serv-fast adjustments from the notifications

-New applications in MLRO parts: Applications / ApkReplacer / Anti Boot LOOP / Icon Patcher
Speed-counter status bar for the data network connection (you have to know how fast your internet company to navigate)
-Etc
Recommendations:
Go to settings and enable all animations; enjoy jellybean animation.
Do not overdo COPU level over 700.
Activate the application EX4 Link2SD as if the trigger.
If you activate the application (Holo Locker) very cool indeed to restart make haste to score the pin No.
if not enter into the interface and you have to restart again to redial.

Good effort man :good:
Thanks
Thanks man, I do not know English and I just got down to work
thanks to xda forum and Google as not. Well I started to find out things
because I really wanted to do a full ROM but I could not have enough information to the idea if I had it and knowledge to unpack a. tar with my windows xp I gradually giving the necessary wires and effort much and with my knowledge but I decided I wanted a simple copy what I wanted was to do it myself, but I could not and the best thing is to create an e echo issue with something good enough but just that and I think my effort was it.
And do not ask for money in exchange fanta or just enough for me with a response thanks enough for me.
There you have my contribution to enjoy it and be an example to others that if you want
something you can do yourself and what you can achieve with effort
but the trouble is the suffering conlleba and then not recognize the hard work really thank you very much man
In this forum at least have recognized my work
but I come to the awards no one
and was a joy to know that someone liked my work.

[MOD/THEME][APK]BluQseT - FU green "gingerbread - systemUI.apk

This is for 10.1
Now, I can't stand green in my Android. I simply can't. I can't stand TouchWiz.. All the colors thrown together like a box of crayons. I've modified my systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk to change the quick settings to blue and the V ticks as well. If you want em, use em.
I did this on GigaWatts 2.0 ROM and I'm not responsible if any other stock rom will fck up from this.
Get the systemUI.apk here. - This is for the quick settings and the tickers in the drop-down menu.
Get the framework-res.apk here - This is for the Settings menu's tickers and switches.
Install:
1. Open your root browser of choice.
2. Browse to /system/priv-app/ and locate systemUI.apk, make a backup, always make a backup.
3. Replace it with my systemUI.apk and set the permissions JUST as they were on the old one, otherwise this won't work.
- You can stop here and restart if you don't want to deal with the next section of crashes. It's a one time procedure but it's a bit annoying to deal with none the less. Enjoy the quick settings icons.
4. Go to /system/framework and locate framework-res.apk, make a backup, always make a backup.
5. Replace it with my framework-res.apk.
6. At this point your system will crash with "android.process.acore has stopped". This is normal for a framework-res.apk replacement. Basically you can make one press in between each "Ok" when the system repeatedly crashes.
7. First manage to set all the permissions.
8. Then manage to go into "apps" in Settings and locate "Contacts Storage" under "All", then clear data and boom, crashing stops.
9. Re-add your Google account.
It should look like this :victory:

I guess this won't work on the 8.4? Wat do I have to edit in the systemui.apk in order to change the colors?
