[App] WP Bench - now with online charts

Hello,
short news: new version of WP Bench hit the Marketplace just few hours ago. WP Bench is by many a standard benchmarking tool for Windows Phone, or "one of the most comprehensive benchmarking utility (the Engadget) seen so far..." First version had approx. 4.79 stars from 5 with more than 41000 users. As many users wanted online charts and score in form of “this is bad, average, or great” new WP Bench does both in a big way. Users can publish their (speed test and battery test) scores to the online charts, compare with others or just browse pies of OS versions, maufacturers, devices and, what’s important to many, sneak for new unreleased devices etc.
Notice: as we are finally able to publish apps in our country, I don’t need the account Microsoft Czech provided me in February. So I’ve transferred WP Bench to my new personal account. Problem is that users of old WP Bench will not be notified about the new version today released. Please download the new version as scores from both versions are not comparable.
New WP Bench features deeply tweaked tests (CPU singlethreaded, CPU multithreaded, memory and storage read/write with configurable block size, GPU acceleration, display color reproduction and battery life), new online charts with ability to publish your score to the database and its trial version is FULL featured and $free. It's now also available in new markets, for example Japan.

A lot of people think Samsung or Broadcom has not released the full potential of the GPU.
I heard somewhere Samsung is going to release an update to unlock the GPU, but it's just rumors. When i search about Broadcom VideoCore IV (the gpu of this phone), i found the great potential of the GPU in 2D and 3D feature and can record at 1080p, and that GPU is the same of Raspberry Pi.
That's why people guess Samsung has not released all potential. Now, in this phone the GPU is very poor in graphics, we have to wait for more answers.
tick reduce texture quality and use qualcomm plug-in
means new official system solves all the problems around the graphic and video?

GPU for Samsun Galaxy Ace s5830i will not come out?

Yesterday I read an XDA archives that will not get full GPU for samsung Galaxy Ace s5830i .. But also Samsun Galaxy J has the same GPU so that you can use the same ROMs, but with bugs. WiFi does not work, gafika is terrible..
also says that the CPU 832 because the Galaxy Ace "and" using too much CPU for graphics....
WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS?
Can u share d source?

You have a title to state that it's for the S5830i .
And the Galaxy Ace sections refer to almost all variations , it's only the Dev threads that are different .

Broadcom® BCM2763 VideoCore® IV Processor Features 1080p Video, 20 Megapixel Photos and 1 Gigapixel Graphics in an Ultra-Low Power 40 Nanometer Design
IRVINE, Calif., Dec 15, 2009 -- Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq: BRCM), a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, today announced its next generation multimedia processor that delivers industry leading performance and lower power in the top multimedia categories for mobile devices. Using 40 nanometer (40nm) CMOS process technology, the new Broadcom® BCM2763 VideoCore® IV multimedia processor provides even higher integration, smaller footprint size and lower power consumption than 65nm designs.
With the higher integration and significant power savings from 40nm CMOS process technology, the BCM2763 multimedia processor features the most advanced mobile high definition (HD) camcorder and video playback, up to 20 megapixel digital camera and photo image processing, and 1 gigapixel 2D/3D graphics rendering for a world-class gaming experience. HD video, 3D games and high resolution 20 megapixel pictures can be displayed at top quality on full-sized HD televisions and monitors using an on-chip industry standard HDMI interface. Additionally, the BCM2763's highly integrated architecture reduces bill-of-materials (BOM) cost to help drive sophisticated multimedia features into more affordable handsets.
Highlights/Key Facts:
-- The breadth and quality of Internet multimedia content is rapidly
improving, with sites such as YouTube now supporting full HD 1080p video
sharing. Consumers are also increasingly using cell phones as their
primary digital camera and camcorder, which is driving demand for higher
resolution and more sophisticated image processing which is currently
only available on advanced standalone camcorders and cameras.
Additionally, newer graphics-oriented user interfaces and mobile games
now require enhanced graphics capabilities.
-- The new Broadcom BCM2763 VideoCore IV multimedia processor enables
best-in-class performance in the following areas:
-- Full HD 1080p camcorder capabilities in a cell phone with
significantly improved quality over current generation handsets
(which generally have VGA or lower resolution camcorders).
-- Up to 20 megapixel digital camera with advanced features such as
multiple shots per second, image stabilization, face and smile
detection and panorama mode.
-- The ability to render mobile games natively at up to 1080p
resolution, which in combination with an on-board HDMI output,
allows a console-quality gaming experience on large screen HDTVs.
-- In addition to providing these capabilities on new handsets, the BCM2763
has improved power savings using a 40nm process without draining the
battery or significantly reducing talk time. Additional ultra-low power
consumption features include:
-- 20% to 50% power reduction in comparison to the prior generation
Videocore III multimedia processor.
-- 4 to 6 hours of 1080p video recording and 8 to 10 hours of mobile
playback, with up to 16 hours of full HD playback over HDMI given
sufficient handset storage.
-- Only 490 mW of chip power is required for 1080p camcorder H.264 High
Profile encoding and only 160 mW for 1080p playback.
-- Only 160 mW of power is required for mobile game graphics
processing, supporting up to 1 gigapixel per second fill rates and
improves graphics performance by a factor of 4x to 6x in comparison
to the prior generation Videocore III multimedia processor.
-- The BCM2763 processor integrates the key functionality and components
needed to drive advanced multimedia capabilities in new handsets. As a
result of this high integration, the BCM2763 enables a lower overall BOM
cost, enabling manufacturers to pass these lower costs on and introduce
advanced features to lower tier phones than previously possible.
-- The BCM2763 integrates the functions of eight chips including GPU
and graphics memory, image signal processing (ISP) and ISP memory,
video processing and video memory, HDMI and USB 2.0. 128MB of LPDDR2
graphics memory is stacked in a single package.
-- The 40nm process enables reduced power, improved performance and
reduced handset board space.
-- Benefiting from an existing VideoCore software code base and legacy
architecture, manufacturers of phones and other consumer electronics
devices can easily add these new VideoCore IV multimedia features to
their products, allowing faster time-to-market.
-- The BCM2763 is currently sampling to early access customers (pricing
available upon request). Handsets utilizing this new 40nm VideoCore IV
multimedia processor technology are expected to reach the market in
2011.

About Galaxy S20 FE Snapdragon Version

I would like your opinion about this device because I'm going to change smartphones I would like to know if it runs the game called genshin impact, or would it be better to invest in poco x3 pro? thanks!
I'll try that. Haven't done my dailys anyways. But I can't tell you the difference to other smartphones because my previous phone was a low-mid range phone from 3 years ago for 250€ on amazon.
I have the 4G version Snapdragon 128GB, 6 GB Ram.
I'll post the results later in the evening/tomorrow.
There is one thing I can already tell you, when you install the game and let it download the main game(15GB) minimize the game. Because when it reached around 20% it downloaded with 10mb/s but then dropped to 1mb/s. I guess that's because the phone got a little warm.. Now with it being minimized it downloads at around 3-4mb/s. Maximizing it will increase the speed to your networks maximum again... But when minimized it downloads slower even if the phone isn't warm.
I tried switching my wifi from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and I think the speed in minimized mode increased a little bit but only by about 0.5mb/s -> to a speed of 3.5mb/s - 4.8mb/s.
I mean, if it runs the game without problems, since I haven't seen almost any custom ROM for the S20 FE Snapdragon, the poco x3 pro has many.
Here you go, two vids doing dailies and a dungeon.
I only noticed after uploading that my brightness was set to low
The graphic settings are set to highest and frame rate to 60
Please dont mind my bad controlling and gaming.. it's my first time playing it on a phone and I dont play any other mobile games besides sudoku.
Recording made it lag a little bit more. When you encounter a new area there is a tiny lag sometimes but not too bad.
I was also thinking about buying the poco but it doesnt have a oled display...
What I wanted was a relative good camera - samsung wins - oled display - samsung wins -
And a relative new snapdragon - samsung wins again -.
And another thing that was important is that I didn't want another china phone...
Hahaha, I would like to know why the s20 fe It doesn't have custom roms, and the pit x3 pro does

2 custom roms are being worked on now (I've used one in alpha status myself) and once their device trees are proven more will be likely to follow.
without Samsung phones being unlockable in the states many devs have moved on from Samsung snapdragon phones. the majority of the world outside of the US and Canada gets Exynos versions of S series phones, and they're completely different. this phone is still locked for US and Canadian owners but not for everyone else but it also came out mid release cycle of the regular S series so many people had already spent their money if they planned to buy a Samsung. other Samsung phones that are snapdragon based also have next to no custom roms, it'll take time for people to learn how to develop for this SoC and firmware layers from scratch again.

Ah yes now I get it, I don't know if I'm right with that now but back in the day it was easier to build ROMs for Snapdragon versions than for exynos versions, I don't know if I'm right about that or the other way around, but I use poco f1 and I was in doubt which one to buy, between poco x3 pro with 8/256 Snap 860 or s20 fe Snapdragon 865, 6/128, since my focus is games because in poco f1 for me to be able to play I had to put ROM customized and I still play with everything at the minimum, if the game crashes I would have the chance to change the ROM and improve its performance, but on the s20 fe there will be no way.

on snapdragon FEs we already have custom kernels and the GPU can be overclocked.

the system on stock roms can be made faster by removing lots of stock app packages too. the thing to be wary of is that many FE handsets have a screen touch response bug that is intermittent.
every once in a while a section of the screen can stop responding to touch. that makes it not the best choice for gaming, otherwise I would say it's pretty decent.

how you spend your money should be your choice alone because you're the one who has to live with that choice. but for gaming the FE has this problem which I think you should be aware of.

Question Can you share your experience with this phone?

I want a new phone, and i need to choose between this and oneplus 9 (i like flat screen)
I tried the phone for a litte of time and here are my observations and concerns:
When you setup the phone, MIUI asks you if you want personalized ADS. WTF?! ADS?
When you lock the screen, you have a wallpaper carousel with some stupid ads, in order to disable them, you need to deny all permissions on wallpaper app.
You cant uninstall, or disable some stupid apps from MIUI
You receive a lot of notifications from useless bloatware apps
You can remove the notifications from that apps, but the app still runs on background and eats battery
When you install poweramp, you can't choose the root memory or some existing folder as source for the media, you need to create a specific folder, wtf?!!!
Wifi + Mobile data works bad with wireless android auto, sometimes mobile data don't work
You receive some stupid notification from "security" when installing apps from play store
You have some stupid avast antivirus app
The battery life seems to be better when using a normal slow charger and not the 120w
i saw that to unlock bootloader you have to make a xiaomi account and wait 7 days? WTF???
TWRP don't work good with MIUI 13 / Android 12
for root + safetynet you need to do way more operations than with oneplus or pixel
Anyone had the same issues or concerns i listed above?
Has someone debloated fully the phone? How is the experience after debloat?
Someone that has root, can you upgrade MIUI without losing the data and keep root + debloat?
Can someone with a custom rom share his experience?

I have used their ROMS since i have had a Redmi Note7, went to MI10T Lite and now on 11T Pro and always went to xiaomi.eu version
I have had this equipment for about 3 months, and the truth is disappointing, the real performance is lower than the F3, the heat dissipation is very bad, I recently updated it to miui 13 and lowered the temperature a bit, but the benchmark results dropped a lot, in miui 12.5 antutu it gave me approximately 790k and now they stabilized at 720k maximum, the same geekbench 5 before in single 1100 and 3400 multi now with miui 13 single 820 and 3150 multi... You pay for a device with snapdragon 888 but it performs less than 870.

Pagas por un dispositivo con snapdragon 888 pero rinde inferior a 870.

Can someone with a custom rom share his experience?

with global rom, permission settings is a little noisy. Most of your concern will gone if you move to xiaomi.eu rom
So about the hardware
1. No proximity sensor
2. Screen brightness unstable
3. Wired camera saturation
4. Tone of ear speaker is mid-low little bassy. I need to Increase max volume for clearly voice and people around me can hear it too.
battery life is awesome and main camera too just wished it had ois

I have had this equipment for about 3 months, and the truth is disappointing, the real performance is lower than the F3, the heat dissipation is very bad, I recently updated it to miui 13 and lowered the temperature a bit, but the benchmark results dropped a lot, in miui 12.5 antutu it gave me approximately 790k and now they stabilized at 720k maximum, the same geekbench 5 before in single 1100 and 3400 multi now with miui 13 single 820 and 3150 multi... Using 11t (non-pro) since January 1st. Great battery life , fast charging speed 90 fps in pubg mobile. Great value for money didn't encountered any ad in miui. Except for sound pauses in Bluetooth when message is received no issues found. Excellent speaker quality. No heating issues here. If you are buying a phone with photography as main concern then this one ain't for ya , the camera isnt bad but it aint best either. The only thing I am missing is a kernel source and a dedicated xda thread .
My phone is 3 days old, EEA rom(V12.5.19.0.RKDEUXM),
the first benchmarks was at 870/3250 and today 1127/3503.
nothing has been changed or added, the only difference is that the battery was at 30% for the former and 96% for the latter.

I had already corrected a previous post of yours here. Please edit your post above to match the following as I was able to translate using https://translate.google.com/:
In both, I have already changed both global ROMs as Xiaomi EU, I have performed a factory reset and I have the same problems, I think EU is my device, it has always suffered from temperatures, the cpu reaches 80°C. I'm taking it under warranty today.

I bought this phone. I've tested about 10 days. First issue I noticed was battery drain at medium or lite usage (social apps, settings customizing, and Youtube). Also, phone was heating a lot with basic usage like using UI. I didn't want to lose time and returned phone. It possess SD888, but I assume hardware is not optimized to manage such processor. I consider hardware is good, but it's not integrated properly with MIUI 12.5 nor 13 version.
I haven't experienced any issues. MIne came around April 2 or 3 perhaps. So far, so f*cking good
After 5 months, Vibrator not working.
I bought the phone in
I did not have any problem with the phone, very cool phone, but I replaced the charging cord because I found that using 120W charging raises the temperature of the battery
after use miui 13 After about three months of use I found out that miui 13 It has more and more problems A lot of the feature doesn't work so back to miui eu 12.5.10
Things I like about the phone
The phone has a very good sound
Excellent screen
good camera
great battery
things I didn't like
I did not like miui It's really too bad
